The next morning Shehnaz woke up with her head heavy, she had cried last night after all that incident.
She checked her phone and sighed, 25 missed calls from Meeti, 10 from Papa and 35 from Vishal!
She got up and dressed to take a shower for the day.
While scrubbing her hair with the shampoo her mind went to the thoughts of Madhurima's short hair. Her messy look made her look so beautiful while she was stuck with long locks of dark chocolate brown hair.
She shrugged it and took a shower and came out wearing a floral long dress.
She did a little makeup just to hide the puffy red eyes and painted her face with a shehnaz's smile.
She got down and her eyes clashed with his.
She stopped holding the handle of the staircase, her grip tightening as she could feel her heart beating fast again at his one stare.
She mustered up a smile and got down and said a little good morning.
Sidharth smiled at her and they started eating the dinner.
Shehnaz- So.. um how was it?
Sidharth beamed and said Oh it was geninuely great! She fit in with everyone so perfectly as if she knew them since long!
Shehnaz smiled and said That's true since childhood she was very interactive and smart! Whereas I would have preferred staying in my own little group!
Sidharth nodded with a smile.
Sidharth- So how was your night?
Shehnaz- Oh it was great!!! Had galloons of ice cream and now I can feel Vishal coming and killing me.
As if hearing his name, sidharth's grip on the spoon visibly tightened.
Sidharth- Why would Vishal say anything?
Shehnaz swatted her hands in the air and said He's a prick but my prick! He says I am gonna die because of sugar rush and diabetes. Okay I agree I will die but hello but when people ask you what's the cause of her death? You will proudly say Hey my ex wife died because of eating too much of sugar! Isn't it better than dying of something else?
Sidharth smiled at her childlike antic and nodded his head happily but suddenly he relaized the word she used, ex wife.
Is she that eager to leave ? Sidharth thought.
Shehnaz got up and went inside and then came back with a white tie.
Sidharth smiled at her warmly and said so you are gonna tie this everyday now?
Shehnaz smiled and said Everday.
Until you would be in someone else's arm to even see me holding your tie.. she whispered to herself.
Sidharth got up and Shehnaz started to tie it around his neck while he took that time to notice her features softly.
A month had passed to their deal and now they were really bestfriends. Sidharth was so dependent on Shehnaz for everything, he couldn't function without her and he didn't know that, yet. Shehnaz did set up Sidharth with Madhurima all the time they got together and somewhat Madhurima was loosing herself to Sidharth and maybe sidharth was too.
Sidharth- Shehnaaaaaaz where is my jacket?
Shehnaz huffed and stood infront of him with her arms crossed and then pointed at the sofa next to him with a stern face.
She turns to go when Sidharth again says Shehnaaaaaaz where is my watch?
Shehnaz turns back angrily and pints at his wrist.
She turns back and he again says Shehnazzzz where is my... bestfriend?
Shehnaz doesnt turns, Sidharth slowly holds her waist and starts to tickle her madly which made Shehnaz giggle loudly.
Sidharth starts laughing too and then slowly said I am sorry yaar I forgot it was your function! And I have a valid reason..
Shehnaz turned back with her arms crossed and said What's the valid reason to miss my important bakery function?
Sidharth smiled and said you will forgive me after this! I know it!
Shehnaz rolled her eyes and said Reason!
Sidharth- Madhurima!
As if her heart wasn't all ready broken, now it was shattered in thousand pieces, thousand pieces. Ofcourse Madhurima will always be above her, always.
Maybe Shehnaz would forgive him but her heart couldn't. It was broken by him mercilessly and the best part was he didn't even know.
Shehnaz tried to hold in her tears and said You are right I forgive you! Alright I am getting late see you at the beach Bye!
Sidharth could feel something is wrong but couldn't point his finger at it.
Meanwhile Shehnaz ran inside her car and cried her heart out.
No one understands the amount of pain one sided lover has to induce.
She chanted the mantra, It's okay its alright! It's okay it's alright.
After working a little late purposely so she doesn't have to see their PDA moments she slowly got herself to go to the beach.
Though Madhurima wasn't very vocal infront of Shehnaz regarding Sidharth but seeing Shehnaz normal she was becoming confident.
Shehnaz was wearing her slit long dress and sat down on one of the benches with her cupcakes and food.
Her eyes saw Sidharth and Madhurima giggling while throwing water on each other, her eyes zeroed at Madhurima wearing a skimpy bikini and Sidharth shirtless.
Images of them making love in future was making her head burst in pain.
She wore her long hat and put on her glasses and started to stuff on her muffin while she searched for Vishal.
Suddenly she heard a voice- what are you looking for baby girl I am here!
Shehnaz snapped her head at the direction and saw a man with well built muscles and tanned skin smirking at her.
Shehnaz rolled her eyes and said I was looking for my brother is that you?
His smirk dropped and he pouted like a kid and said Well you got a good comeback.
Shehnaz giggled and then saw him staring at the cupcakes.
Shehnaz forwarded the basket and said Want some?
Man- Hell yes !! By the way I am Rico!
Shehnaz smiled and said Shehnaz!
Rico- Shehnaz...!
He was trying the word on his tongue and testing the sound of it and slowly said Beautiful!
Shehnaz beamed at him while he ate a bite of the cupcake and moaned.
Rico- What the hell! Where did you get this rager shit from?
Shehnaz laughed and said I made them I have my bakery!
Rico- What really? Am I really a lucky man!?
Shehnaz giggled and slowly brought her hands up and showed him the diamond ring in her ring finger.
Rico made a dagger in the heart action and said I am wounded.
But honestly who ever is your man is the luckiest person ever.
Shehnaz painfully smiled looking at sidharth and then looked back at Rico and said I don't think so! I am quite easily replaceable!
Rico- Hell you are! Shut up! I met you for like 3 minutes and I am already wrapped in your sweet charm! Well I have one lifetime offer!
Shehnaz- What?
Rico- Do you want to run away from everything for a while?
Shehnaz- Run away as in?
Rico- lets go partying I know this friend of mine who holds amazing parties!
Shehnaz looked back at Sidharth who was busy with Madhurima and Vishal with a new boy.
She sighed and thought if I left Sidharth couldn't even care less. Why not enjoy?
She looked at Rico and said Where's the party tonight!?
Rico smiled happily and said Les go queen!!!
Shehnaz giggled and he held her palm in his and dragged her as her laughing.
Suddenly sidharth's eyes fell on Shehnaz running away with a man laughing but he was a little far away in the water, his eyes darkened and he was about to run when Madhurima held him and said She's not a kid Sidharth! Let her move on with someone too please!

His heart was screaming something but the brain was blocking it.
He slowly nodded a yes but his mind lingered on that image he saw.
Here Shehnaz was drinking with Rico, for the first time in a while she was having fun.
She laughed loudly holding her stomach when Rico fell from the chair and groaned.
Shehnaz- BOOO HOOO! I won I won I won!
Rico laughed and said Whatever you egoist baker!
Shehnaz flipped her hair and continued to drink!
It was more than midnight when Shehnaz said, I hate this dhichik dhichik! Do you want to vibe on some real songs right now?
Rico was too drunk but nodded like a puppy.
Shehnaz held his hand and dragged him outside to the other calmer side of the beach and played a song on her phone while Rico was sitting watching her as she slowly closed her eyes listening to the song..

Her eyes were closed as tears fell from her eyes as she swayed her body slowly opening her arms feeling the pain in the music mixed with her own and the calmness of the water shore.
Rico stared at the woman infront of her in pain, but you know it was that kind of pain which at the end always seemed worth it.
His heart bled for her but he smiled.
Shehnaz ended her performance and looked at Rico for the commentary!
Rico smirked and said it was okay! Now come on lemme drop you home.
Shehnaz- No Vishal is coming and I am going home with him!
Before he could stop her she was gone!
Shehnaz entered and saw Vishal looking for her around.
Shehnaz- OYE HERO! I am here!
Vishal rolled his eye and said Kitni piii Tune?
Shehnaz- Aah only 5!
The bartender spoke up and said Maam forget the 1 before 5!
Vishal shouted 15??? SHEHNAZ 15? Are you mad? How are you alive?
Shehnaz - I am tired I wanna go home save the lecture for tomorrow morning. Also not sidharth's home but yours!
Vishal didn't question it because he saw she was in pain.
Vishal nodded and drove her to his house and tucked her to bed.
Meanwhile here Sidharth was going crazy, he was calling her like mad! He was going crazy that Shehnaz went with some stranger and it's past 4 am.
He couldn't even spend time with Madhurima because his mind was running for Shehnaz.
He pulled his hair when Vishal messaged him? She's with me.
Sidharth took a breath of relief but the anger returned.
Today his heart felt something so strong when he saw her going away with another man.
Her existence was getting so important for
Him.
What was it? He finally questioned to himself.
