Sidharth goes home happily thinking about how much he loves her. Heck he always loved her shit.
Sidharth shouts, SHEHNAZZZZ SHEHNAZZ!
The chef comes running out and says Sir she's inside her room with her friend and the friend said not to disturb them.
Sidharth hears this and fists his hand in anger, he marches up and opens the door and the scene he sees makes him so angry.
Shehnaz was giggling while Rico held her right from her waist and twirled her.
He looked at her smile, it was so geninue and so happy. His heart panged knowing it's not because of her..! He took a deep breath and left the room without a word.
He laid down on the bed and thought, how hurt Shehnaz would have been when Sidharth used to go out with Madhurima.
He heard a knock and saw Rico and Shehnaz standing so close to each other and Rico looked at him and slowly slid his hands with Shehnaz while Shehnaz didn't even put them away and looked at sidharth worriedly.
Shehnaz- Are you okay? We have been calling you for 5 mins straight!
Sidharth has his eyes on the intwined hand and slowly said Yes! What did you want to talk about?
Shehnaz- Oh yeah that, actually me and Rico are going out for a dinner at his friends house and it's a beach thingy so we will come tomorrow.
Sidharth's heart sank, but he smiled netherless and said Yeah great enjoy!
Shehnaz- If you want.. you can call Madhurima.
Sidharth smiled at her painfully and said, Nope I don't want Madhurima!
Shehnaz looked at him shocked and said What do you mean?
Sidharth cleared his throat and said I mean I don't need Madhurima right now I need sleep.
Shehnaz giggled and said so I will see you tomorrow morning. Bye! Take care and please have your BP ki medicines I checked your reports and-
Rico tugged her hand and said He's not a kid Shehnaz, he will function well without you too.
Sidharth glared at him hard as he saw her taking Shehnaz away from him.
That night he couldn't sleep the whole time,
his mind ran to the thoughts of them together laughing and enjoying.
He shook his thoughts away and smiled, I will not think negetive and try to win you shehnaz. I will win you back.
With this thought he closed his eyes at 8am in the morning and slept.
The next time he opened his eyes he saw a worried Shehnaz staring at him curiously.
Sidharth smirked and said If you would come a little closer we could have shared a passionate kiss but aaaah!
Shehnaz hit him lightly on his chest and her cheeks got covered with a red hue making Sidharth smile.
Shehnaz- So? Are you okay? You have been sleeeping since so long it's 3pm in the afternoon!
Sidharth- Ohh that, I was just tired.
Shehnaz- Fair enough I will leave-
Sidharth- NO!
Shehnaz- What?
Sidharth- Um I feel like going out today!
Shehnaz- Yeah so go out with Madhu!
Sidharth- No I don't wanna go out with her, I want to go out with you today!
Shehnaz looked at him shocked and like a baby pointed her finger at her and innocently said ME?
Sidharth's heart clenched knowing that she couldn't even believe he would take her out like that!
Sidharth cupped her cheeks like a fish and said You! Yes you!
Shehnaz groaned and said but I don't wanna dress up for a fancy restaurant.
Sidharth- Who said we going for a fancy restaurant! Wear your most comfy clothes I am gonna take you at sucha heaven place!
Shehnaz clapped her hands excitedly and said Okay give me 5!
Within 5 mins Shehnaz came back in a long peach coloured dress with a small denim jacket and converse. She looked so adorable that for once Sidharth had to forcefully pull his eyes away from her.
He held her hand and dragged her to the car while Shehnaz stared at the hands and looked at him confused yet so happy.
Sidharth started to drive and meanwhile Shehnaz was coordinating her work.
While listening to her talks one thing was for sure, she was actually the sweetest woman in the town. The way she spoke even when she was upset or angry didn't hurt the other person. She maintained her stance and talked very sternly yet so sweetly.
She was that kind of boss which people would love to work with while he was the kind of boss people would fear off.
A strange combination but a true combination indeed.
Sidharth stopped at a location and looked back at her with eyes full of excitement which was so infectious that made Shehnaz so excited too.
Before Shehnaz could get out he quickly ran out and opened the door for her which made her look at him in shock but still netherless smiled happily.
Sidharth held her hand again firmly, making her feel all those little butterfly dance in her stomach yet again.
The moment Shehnaz entered the area she whisper yelled, NO FUCKING WAYS!
Sidharth grinned like a kid and said YES FUCKING WAYS!
I got to know about this place a day before yesterday and the first thing that came in my mind was you!
Shehnaz jumped and said, GOD OMG A MOMO FESTIVAL!
Sidharth grinned and said They have more than 300 DIFFERENT TYPES OF MOMOS HERE! You name it!
Shehnaz- God I wanna start with gravy ones and then afghani ones then cheese ones then-
Sidharth- Hold Your horse's because you gonna experience and eat em all!
Shehnaz clapped and they started eating diffferent kinds of momos while laughing and giggling like bestfriends.
After 3 hours of 'trying' food they sat down on a bench holding their stomachs and said God we have had so much today.
Sidharth- I know right but it's worth it!
Shehnaz smiled at him and said Thankyou-
Sidharth- Aa aa no! Not right now come I wanna take you somewhere!
Shehnaz- Please it shouldn't be momos!
Sidharth laughed and said Nope!
Shehnaz sat down in the car and said also not some fancy place because
Sidharth- Because you haven't dressed well I know, but honestly umm err you look really beautiful!
Shehnaz froze and stared at him for a moment while her face was red .
Sidharth bit his lip from smiling at her flustered look and continued to drive.
Soon they reached a park and Shehnaz looked at him confused.
Sidharth- I thought to digest-
Shehnaz burst out laughing and said God you are so adorable! Let's go!
This time it was his chance to blush and look down.
Soon they got out and started to walk in the park which was very beautiful with fountains and all.
Sidharth looked at Shehnaz and said SOFTIE?
Shehnaz- Yes please!!!
Sidharth smiled and said Gimme a moment.
Shehnaz looked around at people and couples together and her heart panged. Could she ever experience all this!?
Meanwhile Sidharth was buying the softie and his eyes fell on the woman infront of him who was staring at the couple holding hands together.
He was determined that today he will let it all out.
He took the softies and ran to him, Shehnaz took one happily and Sidharth held her hand again and made her sit on a bench.
Shehnaz started to eat the ice cream happily and today he felt this weird yet the best thought, he found the reason of earning so much money. Now he knows why the employs at his office used to take holidays to suprise their wives. The amount of happiness you get when you buy something for someone you love makes it 1000 times better. It could be a Gucci or a little softie, the feeling is so ethereal.
He smiled and said Shehnaz I want to talk to you about something.
Shehnaz smiled and said What?
He held her hands and said, I want to give this marriage a chance.
Shehnaz looked at him shocked and said what the hell are you saying?
Sidharth- I don't love Madhurima, I love you it took me time to realise but-
Shehnaz stopped him and said Sidharth all my life I have been everyone's second option, give me one good reason that i leave those guys who makes me their first and go for a guy who made me his second.
Sidharth looked at her shocked, it hit him right on the spot. She was right, Why him?
A tear fell down his cheeks and he said, I have always been bad in love Shehnaz.
My father has taught me that in stock market and real life which thing stands out you claim it as yours. My friends never have talked about the inner beauty of woman all they have been is glorifying their curves. Everything around me had messed up my real feelings for you and the idea of love. Everything around me is so materialistic that everyone wants a trophy wife but they don't know that love is the real trophy. I agree it took me time to understand, to relaize but I have never ever been sure about anything else in my whole godamn life. I haven't made you a second option Shehnaz, YOU WERE LIKE THAT ANSWER IN THE MCQ WHERE YOUR HEART IS LIKE THIS IS THE RIGHT ANSWER BUT MIND SAYS FOLLOW WHAT YOUR FRIENDS HAVE TOLD YOU TO TICK OFF BUT AT THE END MY HEART wins. ( God my exams are coming so quickly and these are the kind of examples I am giving about expressing feelings)
Sidharth- I am not saying or asking you to forgive me so soon. Give me time and let me be the best man for you, you have all freedom to even reject me. 1 month is all I ask for! Can you please give it to me??
Shehnaz- Chocolate truffle cake.
Sidharth- What?
Shehnaz- It means YES!
Sidharth chuckled with tears and said WHO ARE YOU?
Shehnaz got up and looked back and said SOMEONE YOU HAVE TO IMPRESS AND WIN OVER!
