It was the first day of the academy, Shehnaz woke up way early in excitement and got ready.
Just then she received a message, which made her jump out of the bed and she quickly ran to the football field.
She saw a tall man standing there with his back at her and holding a ball.
Due to running Shehnaz was out of breath so she got down on the ground and started to breath heavily.
The guy turned and said, Are you even a fairy?
Shehnaz rolled her eyes and said, Are you even a Demon?
The guy smiled widely and sat down next to her.
He said- I am actually hurt, you came here yesterday and you didn't even have time to meet your bestfriend?
Shehnaz- Well, my roommate told me a set of rules in which demons shouldn't be approached, and I don't want to be hurt by your horns!
The guy laughed loudly and said Sure I have horns like you have wings to fly!
Shehnaz hit him on his shoulder and said, Hey!! You just wait and watch, I would have such beautiful wings one day and I would flyyyyyyyyy!
The guy hit her head lightly and said, Come back to Earth now!
Shehnaz- By the way Ayan, tell me more about this academy na!
Ayaan- See, we are always prepared for the war, so we have roles designated to us, unlike humans we can't choose it. For example, Demons, Werewolf's and Vampires are the warriors they need to learn how to fight.
The fairies learn how to use their powers for fighting and finally the witches and Pixar's sit in the lab to make new spells and casts to protect the mankind.
Shehnaz- Fair enough! Wait, shit I am late for my class! Late kardiya tune mujheee!
Ayan gasped dramatically and said, Jhooth bolni ki adat nahi gayi na teri? Now run for your class! I will see you in the break period!
Shehnaz got up and ran towards the building after shouting a BYE to him.
She entered the class and saw Meeti and Aria waiting for her in the ground.
Shehnaz sat down on the seat as the teacher came in!
The teacher introduced herself and then said, First rule of being a fairy, you should know how to control your fears, your happiness, your all emotions.
Shehnaz looked down at her hands and sighed.
As the class started they were made to feel different emotions.
After a long class, the teacher asked Shehnaz keep the emotion potion in the lab.
Shehnaz- You guys go and save me good food, I will quickly come back.
Shehnaz started to look for her way but couldn't find it.
She tapped the shoulder of a witch and sweetly asked, Can you please tell me where is the lab?
The girl smirked at her and said, Why not? you're a fairy right?
Shehnaz smiled and nodded.
The girl gave her the directions and Shehnaz quickly ran towards it after thanking it.
She looked at the door and found it a bit peculiar but entered anyway.
The moment she entered the room the door slammed shut and it was blinding darkness, nothing could be seen at all.
Shehnaz started to shiver, she gulped and tried to open the door but failed.
Shehnaz is scared of darkness so she started to shake in fear, just then she remembered what her therapist told her.
She sat down on the floor and slowly started to sing, Baby shark do do do, Baby shark do do do do! Baby shaaaark! Mommy shark do do do do, mommy shark-
Just then a deep voice interrupted her and said, Can you stop singing? It's hurting my ears.
Shehnaz happily said- Hey! There is someone here? Actually I am locked here, the lab-
She heard the footsteps as the deep voice said - I don't care, I am leaving.
Shehnaz- How would you leave?
The deep voice sighed but coldly spoke- Because I have powers.
Shehnaz heard the footsteps crossing her, she quickly held the legs of that person and hugged it tightly while the person froze.
Shehnaz- Please just stay for a little while, I am scared.
The man tried to wriggle his legs a little but Shehnaz held them tightly and kept her head on his legs.
Shehnaz- You know, I am scared of darkness! Like it's really scary so if I am alone I try to sing as my doctor told me, if not then I try to hold the person next to me so that I don't feel lonely.
The deep voice said- So childish. If you knew that darkness is scary, then you should stay away from it.
Shehnaz- I do, but somewhat it catches me every time.
The man suddenly held her hand and made her stand up.
Shehnaz- What are you doing?
He went near the door and held it for few seconds, it broke.
He opened the door as suddenly the piercing light came in the dark room making Shehnaz squint her eyes, but she saw the blurry black back of the tall man leaving.
Just then Meeti came in running and said, Where were you? The whole lunch period got over! We were so worried for you!
Shehnaz- Someone lied to me about the lab thing, so I got lost.
Meeti- Thankgod you are okay! Was it a witch?
Shehnaz- Yeah!
Meeti growled angrily and said, God stay away from them! They are nothing but bitc- leave that! Do you know you're already so famous!!!
Shehnaz- What? How?
Meeti excitedly showed her the phone and said, This is the children's website for this academy, everything every gossip is put up here.
Someone clicked a picture of you running in the morning and guys can't help but go mad for you and girls huh they are jealous!
Shehnaz giggled and then sighed and said I am so hungry! My next period is free you go I will quickly get something to eat.
Shehnaz quickly ran to the cafeteria and saw two men standing alone near the food counter.
She quickly scanned her card and said, I totally missed the lunch maam, Can I get it now?
The woman smiled apologetically at her and said, This is the last plate and its for that guy!
Shehnaz looked at the back of the man and asked the woman- Who is he? Demon?
The woman shook her head and said- A vampire!
Shehnaz happily jumped and said, Thankyou! Wait!
She happily tapped the shoulder of the man.
The man didn't turn, meanwhile the guy next to him looked at her confused.
Shehnaz tapped again and said, Ting tong!
The guy again didn't turn.
Shehnaz- Aah! Listen! A really big tradegy happened to me! You know I got stuck in the lab and I missed my lunch! So-
The other guy said- So you want us to give you our lunch? Why would we do that?
Shehnaz smiled and said- Arrey aap log vampire ho na toh Khoon piyo na, Khana main khaa leti Hun!
Wait! I have a better idea how about I get you some blood? But please I need to have food or my invisible wings couldn't fly!
The other guy though maintained a cold face but amusement could be seen in his eyes.
Just then the main guy spoke up, You want to eat this food right?
Shehnaz happily nodded.
The guy turned and it felt like everything just stopped for a moment.
It was the moment when her cheerful eyes clashed with his cold ones.
Shehnaz looked at his god- made face but couldn't move her eyes from looking into his.
Meanwhile his eyes scanned through her face and something in his body beat.
He fisted his hands and then smirked coldly at her and then picked up the food from the fork and put it in his mouth.
All that admiration she had for him went inside the drain. Her face turned angry as she saw him eating the food she was hungry for!
She glared at him and said, Chivalry naam ki koi cheez nahi haina?
The guy smirked and said, Haan Vaise ji jaise EQUALITY naam ki cheez nahi hai!
Shehnaz gasped and said- YOU! Aap mera Khoon le lo na mera Khana kyun liya?
She dramatically pouted and the guy's hand stopped.
Just then Ayaan came inside the canteen looking for her when his eyes landed on the person she was talking to. He got angry and marched towards her and jerked her shoulders towards him.
Shehnaz winced and said Ouch Ayaanie!
Ayaan's eyes widened and he said What's wrong?
Shehnaz- Nothing some stupid long giraffe made me fall yesterday and I got a bruise on my shoulder.
The guy who was eating scoffed and said, No wonder fairies are so weak!
Shehnaz squinted her eyes at him and said, I would have been powerful only if you would have let me eat the food!
Ayaan- You haven't had your lunch?
Shehnaz pouted with a no!
Ayaan- Come let me take you out!
Shehnaz- But they treat is on you!!!!
Ayaan smiled and held her hand dragging her out of the place and he looked back glaring at the guy who had already sided the tray away and looked at the ceiling coldly.
Ayaan took her to a small restaurant where Shehnaz was happily eating when he said- Shehnaz stay away from him!
Shehnaz- But Who is he?
Ayaan- He's something you should stay away from! He's the infamous King of vampires, Sidharth.
Shehnaz slowly tried the name on her tongue like a kid and said, Sidharth.
Ayaan- Stay away okay?
Shehnaz nodded and resumed eating.
Meanwhile the other guy accompanying Sidharth said, I never knew you liked eating Fruits until now.
Sidharth glared at the guy and said, Asim.
Asim smirked and said, I said nothing my lord. By the way what's the relation between that Idiotic Demon and that Fairy?
Sidharth started to walk and coldly said, I don't know nor I want to know.
During the night the pain in her shoulders increased. This was the evolution time when every fairy after 18 is evolving to become the real fairy so every small wound hurts bad.
Shehnaz grunts in pain and sees in the mirror that the bruise is dark blue.
Shehnaz sighs and looks at the time, it was 3:30am.
She took out her map and wore a simple shrug to cover her bare shoulders and started to look for the medical room in the empty corridors.
Suddenly she heard some commotion, turned at her back but there wasn't anything.
She slowly turned back again and her head banged with a hard chest and Shehnaz screamed- BLOODY MURD-
Her mouth was covered and Shehnaz looked up scared but her eyes relaxed when she saw who it was.
Sidharth glared at her angrily and said Why does it have to be you?
Shehnaz licked his palms a little which made him quickly remove his hands from her mouth, disgusted.
Shehnaz- I am in pain so I am looking for the medical room!
Sidharth- Can't you weaklings Heal yourself?
Shehnaz- We can, but after we know how to control our powers! I am new stupid!
Sidharth's head snapped at her direction quickly as she said stupid, he grabbed her hand and said WHAT DID YOU SAY?
Shehnaz- Ow ow ow! Sidharrrrrth I am in my evolving time everything will hurt 10 times more!
Sidharth leaves her hand quickly but again hearing her stretch his name like that made something inside him beat again.
He angrily said- Don't you dare call my name again!
Shehnaz- Then what should I call you? How about.. umm how about MOSQUITO??
Sidharth- WHAT THE FUCK?
A long update! God finally the two met!
