Shehnaz's eyes widened as her lips were touching his tightly, she tried to get up when Sidharth pulled her back and held her neck from behind making her go in more.
Butterflies erupted in their stomach as Sidharth slowly took her upper lip in his mouth sucking it slightly.
The moment his tongue touched hers, his mind screamed I LOVE HER. I love her so much!!!!!!!!
He got blank, he quickly got up leaving Shehnaz shocked and flustered.
He got up and ran to the farthest book shelf and pulled his hair, meanwhile Shehnaz angrily punched the air.
Shehnaz thought; stupid horny dog Shehnaz you let him kiss you! How awkward it's gonna be kill me! Please kill me.
Meanwhile Sidharth was banging his head with a book thinking what is wrong with him.
His mind continued to scream loudly that I love her I love her I love her. She's the one, she's the one, she's the ONE.
Sidharth took a deep breath and made peace with the fact that he really loves her a lot. A lot, but there's nothing he can do. He's a Cupid and all he can do is have an unrequited love.
Shehnaz stood at the side watching the big moon, when she felt a presence next to her.
She looked at the side and her eyes widened in horror.
She whispered yelled- WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? I told you that I am not doing it again.
The person- Boss has said, that you have two more small cases which you need to complete before you leave.
Shehnaz- YOU LEAVE RIGHT NOW. There's a human here; he's gonna see you.
The man looked at her confused and was about to say something when Sidharth came which made him fly away again.
Shehnaz took in deep breaths and looked out as her hair flew in the air.
Sidharth saw her skin glistening in the moonlight making his heart wrench on how beautiful she is.
Sidharth slowly came next to her and looked out at the window too.
No one spoke anything, as the wind blew loudly making them shiver out of cold or maybe love?
Just then Sidharth spoke up, I am sorry.
Shehnaz turned and faced him; with her eyes teary and said it's okay.
Sidharth looked at her shocked and quickly cupped her cheeks and said, Look I am really sorry I didn't- I didn't-!
Shehnaz let those tears fall and thought it hurts that you are sorry about it.
She opened her eyes, smiled and said Its okay. At the end it's always okay. It's my destiny.
Sidharth- What Destiny?
Shehnaz- Nothing! I am hungry let's eat something!
Sidharth nodded and said I have a few things in my bag.
Shehnaz- So do I!
Both of them went near their bags, Sidharth twisted his fingers which made food items in it.
They sat down as they quietly began to eat.
Just then Shehnaz heard a squeak, she jumped and screamed JERRRRRRRRY!
Sidharth jumped and said what's wrong?
Shehnaz- JERRRY AAAAH!
She quickly jumped on him with her legs wrapped around his waist while he stood there blank not knowing what to do.
Sidharth- Who Jerry?
Shehnaz scaringly pointed out at the little rat running.
Sidharth looked at that, and then after a pause roared of laughter and said Jerry.. seriously a hahahahha!
Shehnaz hit his head while hugging him tightly said, Shut up it can eat me!
Sidharth chuckled while shehnaz's hand touched his back when her eyes widened.
The moonlight fell on his back which made his back glitter.
She froze; as she slowly touched it and felt feathers.
Her eyes widened in realisation; she quickly got away from him and pushed him aside.
She thought to herself, HES A CUPID?
Sidharth who was laughing got shocked and looked at her a little hurt.
Shehnaz for the rest of the time didn't say anything as she continued to think if what she saw was real or another hallucination.
Slowly her eyes dropped and she slept, while Sidharth stared at her sleeping figure with love.
It had been a week and Shehnaz was ignoring Sidharth the most. She suddenly got cold with him, she didn't even look at his direction which was hurting him.
Everything made sense to Shehnaz so she started to spend time with Ahaan more which made Sidharth break everyday.
Shehnaz was in her room when she heard a horn blow; she sighed and closed her eyes and suddenly she was teleported to a dark place.
The clouds where dark; and there was fire smokes and each part of the place screamed Danger.
Shehnaz walked towards the big black gate and entered the place.
She entered the room and saw a man wearing a black dress with a stick reading a book.
Shehnaz- You called me boss?
Boss sighed and said- Complete your assigments shehnaz, then you would be free to be a human.
Shehnaz- I'll do it but please don't contact me anymore.
Before the man could even say anything; she came back to her room.
She got up and wore her clothes and went out.
Meanwhile Sidharth who was coming back from some work; saw Shehnaz leaving he decided to follow her.
He saw Shehnaz going through short lanes, when she saw a couple sitting.
She saw them with a sigh, and slowly raised her finger in the air.
Sidharth looked at her confused, just when a woman came in and sat on the couple's table.
Soon they all three started to quarrel; Shehnaz got his wife confronting his girlfriend.
Sidharth was getting so confused with all this, when Shehnaz raised her hand which made the woman slap the man.
Sidharth's eyes widened, his mind was in a frenzy.
He saw Shehnaz go out and then she walked towards the road; she saw a young couple laughing and hugging each other at the sidewalk.
She fisted her hands and closed her eyes.
Tears leaked from her eyes, when she got the truck moving faster, and made the man fly in the air and colliding with the tractor.
Shehnaz got on her knees and cried while Sidharth got the biggest shock of his life and he thought, SHEHNAZ IS A DEVIL?
He couldn't believe what he saw, she just made a guy collide with a truck.
He couldn't breathe while Shehnaz cried loudly covering herself in a shell which no one can seee and cried.
But she wiped her tears and quickly got an ambulance by magic which could save the man's life.
She slumped down and walked back to her house as she sniffed the way along.
Sidharth who was following her was still in a daze but his heart bled watching her cry.
Just when he was about to confront her he was pulled up in the sky.
He looked around and saw that he's standing among the Cupid's infront of the Devil's.
He asked Samara; what's wrong?
Samara- Annual punishment; whenever a Cupid or a devil doesn't do what it is supposed to do. You know it!
Sidharth nodded and wanted to go down to help her when he saw Shehnaz coming near the pool of punishment.
His eyes widened; he looked at her shocked while she looked lifeless.
Sidharth fisted his hands when he saw the devils mishandling her and making her stand.
The announcer of the devil spoke up- Shehnaz will get a whip of 100 for saving the man's life.
Shehnaz nodded while Sidharth wanted to go when the old man grabbed his hand.
He remembered the whips he got; it was when he heard those girls bad mouthing about Shehnaz and were planning to throw insects on her. ( the conversation which shehnaz also heard)
Sidharth three the insects back on them which wasn't something a Cupid could do.
He was given 100 whips for the same.
This world of Cupid's and devils seem so perfect but it's messed up. Cupid's can't do anything bad and devils can't do anything good.
To maintain balance and life; they have to do their work accordingly.
Shehnaz got on her knees when a healthy man wearing horns with scarred face came in holding a metal whip.
Sidharth's breath stopped in his throat; he ran towards Shehnaz who looked at him shocked.
Shehnaz- WHY DID YOU COME HERE?
Sidharth- I cant let you get hurt.
Sidharth- I WILL TAKE THE WHIPS FOR HER.
The devil boss shouted and said It's not allowed. Go back to your place Sidharth. It's what she did.
Sidharth wasn't leaving, Shehnaz looked at him with tears and said it's nothing. And this is going to be my last-
Just when her hair was harshly pulled by the healthy man which made Sidharth growl in anger.
Shehnaz- Relax! Look at me; hold my hand and everything will be alright.
The moment he held her hand; everything got white. A huge light was emitted from their hands in the pool making everyone's eyes go blind for a moment.
Just when they heard the saying; time to reunite.
The devil boss looked at the old man in shock who smirked at him and gave him ' I told you face'.
Everyone in the heaven including Shehnaz and Sidharth were confused leaving the leaders.
The old man said- 100 whips do it quickly so that we can go for the next one.
Sidharth looked at the man shocked, when he said- Rules are rules Sidharth.
Shehnaz looked into his eyes and said, please Sidharth! Promise me you won't stop it.
Shehnaz sighed and held his hand tighter and closed her eyes as the man started to whip her back.
Sidharth couldn't bear it so he closed his eyes too; he could hear the loud whip and her little wince. He couldn't control his tears; he was getting angry every moment but Shehnaz held his hand warmly.
Meanwhile everyone stared at the scene in awe, the Cupid people along with the devils looked at the scene unfold.
One devil said, they definitely look like a scene from a wattpad book.
The Cupid agreed and said, yeah so dramatic but I love it.
The 100 whips were done and Shehnaz fainted.
Sidharth saw her back blooded; he shot his most hateful glare at everyone and punched the person who whipped her.
Everyone gasped but the old man and the devil remained silent.
Sidharth picked her up in his arms and said, STAY AWAY FROM MY WOMAN. IF YOU HURT HER AGAIN I WILL FORGET THAT I AM A CUPID.
So so so! WHATTTTTT???
What's going on?
I think one more chapter to this? Or max two!
Then we will be done with this!
And I might end this book with the 10TH story WHICH IS THE NEXT ONE!
