The next morning Sidharth woke up, he winced as his back hurt from lying down on the ground but then he looked at the blanket which covered him; he smiled a little but it was gone.
He stretched himself and then looked around, Shehnaz was no where to be found.
He touched the area near his lips and winced due to the pain and thought, 8 years and she still hits me like she has a rent due.
He shook his head and looked around staring at the architecture; Sidharth wasn't into archeology but due to someone he got into it and started to appreciate and love the architecture and became one of the best in that.
Sidharth removed his heavy top and saw a door which he guessed might be the bathing area; he yawned and walked towards it and then paused.
He saw Shehnaz's naked back half covered with hair and she was splashing water.
His lips itched to smile but he remembered who she was; he rolled his eyes and said Get out of my bath.
Shehnaz jumped due to the suddenness and then got inside the water and shouted YOU GET OUT RIGHT NOW! I AM TAKING A SHOWER RIGHT NOW. Also are you a shameless pig?
Sidharth walked around the bath ignoring looking at Shehnaz and casually said, You're acting like as if I haven't seen you naked.
Shehnaz's cheeks burnt red and she screamed; PERVERT GET OUT.
Sidharth looked back at her bored and went out while Shehnaz quickly wore her bathing robe and came out glaring at him.
Sidharth ignored her and got inside while Shehnaz had called for her clothes but what she didn't expect was a whole set of woman coming in and very normally removing her robe as if it was nothing.
Some of them blushed and slowly said, Aap kal theek thi na? Hu-hume chilane ki awaz aayi..!
Shehnaz thought, Woh main nahi Sidharth chila raha tha jab punch pada usse!
Shehnaz nodded and the woman quickly brought a lot of clothes and the heaviest clothes she had ever seen.
There's one thing in Mughal dynasty that's their clothes and jewelleries; they are so heavy which made Shehnaz look at it in horror.
Shehnaz pointed her finger at a red Mughal dress and they made her wear it and slowly dried her hair just when Sidharth came in shirtless and said, Shehnaz also-
Every maid looked at him with eyes full of awe while Shehnaz rolled her eyes and started to dry her own hair.
Sidharth looked at Shehnaz who looked at herself while everyone looked at him.
He didn't wanted to feel those things again looking at her looking so effortlessly beautiful.
So he said, Go to your room.
Shehnaz got up and then looked at sidharth and said, You stay out of my way and I will stay out of yours until I find a way out of this place.
Shehnaz went back to her room and got ready when a mid aged woman came in.
She stood behind Shehnaz with a big smile and said, Noor jhalak raha hai Aapke chehre se!
Shehnaz smiled at the comment thinking, Noor nahi ek din pehle use kiya hua sheet mask hai jo maine village se ane se Pehle use kiya tha!
Shehnaz looked at the woman and realised that she was the mother of Sidharth here; everyone called her Ammi jaan here.
She seemed to be geninuely nice; she said- Aaye ab hum aapko sabse milvate hai aur sab dikhate hai!
Shehnaz nodded with a smile happily and got up and walked along with the lady.
Ammi jaan- Sabse pehle kal humare bete ne aapko tang toh nahi kiya? Kal ke liye woh kitne khush they Kyuki pehli baar Woh apne marzi se shadi kar rahe they!
Shehnaz paused and thought, SHIT I FORGOT THAT THEY HAVE HAREM IN THIS TIME. Wait so lemme think, he had around.. 2 marriages before me? Aaah and the other woman are different.
Shehnaz fake smiled and said, Abhi tak toh nahi par karenge toh hum thordi piche hatenge!
Ammi jaan paused for a while and then burst out laughing.
Shehnaz grinned and they walked around the royal gardens.

There was this big royal building with a little walking distance from the main one but connected to the King's room and places of leisure.
Shehnaz squealed in her mind thinking about finally seeing the actual harem.
They entered as there were many female guards bowing down to them and the opening door was so grand that it almost made Shehnaz's jaw drop.
She looked up and saw the infamous Mughal architecture work and stared at it in awe.
Just then a lot of woman came in greeting Shehnaz.
Shehnaz smiled and then looked at Ammi jaan who explained, yeh inki jeeti hui biwiyan hai aur kuch vesya hai ( prostitutes)
Shehnaz nodded and met them so warmly which made all of them shocked for a moment.
Then Ammi jaan took her inside one royal room which was scattered with paintings.
Ammi jaan- Yeh Sidharth ki dursi biwi hai! Alfaz begum; Shehnaz looked at the woman who didn't look back at Shehnaz and continued to paint.
Shehnaz went towards her and said, Aap Bahut sundar chitrakari karti hai!
The woman didn't look at her once and continued to paint!
Ammi jaan shook her head and took her to the other bigger room.
Everything here was screaming money and luxury.
Ammi jaan- Yeh hai Sidharth ki pehli biwi Mahira begum!
Shehnaz looked at the woman dressed in the richest of clothes combing her hair and looking at Shehnaz as if checking her out to see any default.
Ammi jaan- Yeh dekhiye kaun aya hai?
Mahira chuckled and said, Aur kaun? Ek aur nayi biwi ayi hai!
Shehnaz tried to smile at the insult but felt like banging her head.
She said, kaisi hai aap Appi?
Mahira ignored her and looked at Ammi jaan and said, Ammi jaan aap Sharbat piyenge? Yeh humne bahar se mangavya hai!
Shehnaz looked at her and said, Aap dono baatee kare hum chalte hai!
Just as she was crossing she heard few woman talk.
One said- Mahira begum ke muh par ek shikanj bhi nahi hai?
Another one- Kyuki unka taj ( Crown) koi nahi cheen sakta issleye!
Just then a bold voice spoke- Kyun Aisa kya hai uss Mahira begum mein? Main toh voh nayi wali begum ke saath Hun! Voh chipkali nahi lagti Mahira begum jaise!
The first one said- Aayi badi, Akhir mein jeetegi toh Mahira begum hi pehli biwi hai aakhir!
Shehnaz rolled her eyes and got inside the room and looked at the three woman and recognised one as the deep voiced one.
She looked at her and said, Aaj se aap humari khidmat mein hai!
All of them jumped at her standing infront of them and the one Shehnaz choose nodded frantically while the others ran.
Shehnaz- Aap hume humare kamre tak le chale! Vaise aapka naam kya hai?
The woman grinned and said, Meeti!
Shehnaz nodded with a smile and they got inside the big room.
After a whole day, they were called for the first royal dinner.
Shehnaz entered the place and saw it's a big hall with everyone sitting but the seat next to Sidharth is empty.
She tried to hide herself so that Ammi jaan wouldn't make her sit with him but to her bad luck she called Shehnaz and asked her to sit next to him.
She sat down and suddenly she felt cold; she looked at the side and gasped at Mahira who was glaring at her so strongely and slowly gulped the red drink as a warning.
Shehnaz shook her head and then she looked at her side and saw Sidharth already looking at her.
Shehnaz- What? Is this the moment when you realise that I am the most prettiest girl in this world?
Sidharth- This is the moment I realise that your hair is sticky right now; you didn't wash it right?
Shehnaz growled at him who smirked and then looked at everyone and said Let's start.
Everyone looked at him confused when Shehnaz hit him under the table and said, There's a prayer we have to do first!
Sidharth- Shit right.
They did the prayer and the food came in.
Shehnaz giggled at the food and sighed at it lovingly.
Everything went blurry for her a while it was just the royal biryani and her.
She dreamily took a big bite and unknowingly moaned a little loudly.
Everyone looked at her in shock while Sidharth chuckled knowing that it was a typical Shehnaz thing to do.
Just then she realised that it was spicy, as Sidharth was about to eat he held her hand and stopped him.
Everyone looked at her confused when Mahira angrily said, Yeh Kya kar rahi hai aap?
Shehnaz- Woh.. Woh.. hume maaf karyega par sid- mera Matlab hai Shehenshaah Teekha nahi Khaa sakte!
Everyone looked at her confused while Sidharth thought, this is the moment when I think that you are the world's most prettiest girl ever.
Just then the royal chef came in and said, Maaf kareyega Begum par humne unke liye khaas bina teekhe ka banaya hai aur vahi karte hai hum!
Shehnaz - Toh Yeh teekha nahi hai!?
Ammi jaan smiled widely and said, Nahi! Par hume Acha laga ki aapko yeh tak pata hai apne shauhar ke bare mein!
Shehnaz looked down due to embarrassment and cursed herself while Sidharth smiled and tried so hard to hide it.
After the dinner Ammi jaan again pushed Shehnaz into Sidharth's room which made her groan in anger.
They both sat down as Shehnaz started to remove her jewellery angrily.
Shehnaz- AAH I FUCKING HATE THIS! THIS IS SO HEAVY!!!!! I think my cause of death is gonna be from wearing this heavy outfits and Jewells.
Sidharth- I know right! By the way how was the day adjusting to all of it!
Shehnaz removed her jewellery and lay down on the bed with a sigh and said, Pretty well! You know what I saw the harem today! GOD SIDHARTH IT WAS EVEN MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN THE BOOKS.
Sidharth smiled at her excited eyes and said, Jo royal courtroom hai Woh bhi Bahut grand hai.
Shehnaz- Ohh yeah how was the overall thing?
Sidharth- Super tiring but fun tha, I felt like I was the king! Well I am!
Shehnaz smiled looking at the ceiling and then said, Ohh by the way do you know which number I am at as your official wife?
Sidharth- Umm 3?
Shehnaz looked at him surprised and said How do you know?
Sidharth- Because out of all the numbers 3rd one is a bad luck!
SHEHNAZ GROWLED AND SHOUTED SAVE YOURSELF TODAY YOU DRIED KISHMISH!
