Sana was walking to her house when she felt a hand on her shoulder and in reflex she pulled it hard and pushed that person in the front.
The person screeched in pain and said- Ow! That was painfull!
Sana turned her face and looked at the man.
He was that man who choked her one night because of her hitting one of his man.
Sana sternly said- What are you doing here?
The man rubbed his neck and said- actually I got to go bye!!!
He quickly ran away and Sana looked at him confused.
Sana shrugged her shoulders and thought- Weird.
She sat down on her tattered sofa with a sigh.
She looked around at her house and shook her head.
Why can't I just be so rich!?
Just when the doorbell rang, she checked up and froze.
She saw Sid standing there looking at her.
Sana- Umm.. hey?
Sid- Hi!
Sana looked at him in a questioning way to which he gently pushed her aside and got in.
She saw him lying down on the sofa comfortably while she thought how can he be so comfortable on this tattered one?
While he smiled in his mind thinking that he is finally home.
Sana looked at him and said- What are you doing here?
Sid- Can't I be here?
Sana- Shouldn't you be with your girlfriend?
Sid looked at her with disbelief and said- Can you ever stop talking about my girlfriend? Why can't I be here for some time? Or is it you don't like my company anymore?
Sana- I-it's not like that!
Sid- Let's watch a movie.
Sana nodded as he placed his laptop on the table and they sat comfortably on the sofa.
It was a romcom, as the scenes proceeded Sana burst out laughing.
Sid looked at her with a smile and said- Why are you laughing so much?
Sana- Because this has happened to me! Manan- ahahaha, he literally pushed me to pull me close like this! Ahahaha!
Sid froze and as his jaw clenched and his knuckles turned white.
He took a deep breath and with one finger got her face close to his and looked into her eyes.
Sana's breath hitched as she looked at him shocked.
They were way too close.
Sid's eyes widnded as he relaized that those eyes, those starry eyes weren't shining for him today. It looked normal, just normal.
He hurriedly left her face and looked at the side.
Sana hid her painful expression and said- W-what's wrong?
Sid got up and said- Nothing. I should leave.Riya has called I can't make her wait.
Sana fisted her hand in pain and nodded slowly.
As Sid opened the door to leave, Manan was standing there to ring the bell.
Everyone looked at each other shocked.
Sid looked at manan and said - What are you doing here?
Manan looked at sana and said- What are you doing here?
Sana crossed her arms and said- It's my house!
Manan chuckled and said- I know baby love.
Sid's ears perked up at the nickname and he looked at him with dark eyes.
Manan slowly pushed him aside and said- You're leaving? See you!
Sid clenched his jaw and then said- Nope. I'm staying here!
Sana looked at him confused and said- Weren't you-
Sid grabbed her hand and pulled her inside.
Right now sana was sitting between two stiff men who was kind of glaring at each other.
Sana sighed and said- How about we watch a movie?
Sid- NO!
Manan- Anything my lady wants!
Sana rolled her eyes at his nicknames while Sid glared at him harder.
Manan giggled inside and then said- Well how's your girlfriend sid?
Sid- She's amazing, extremely hot and caring.
Manan nodded while Sana tried to scratch his palm with her nails to control that feeling.
Manan started to make a conversation and Sid realised how easy was it for him to make Sana laugh. He felt like a thirdwheel while they talked. Sana slapped his arm while she laughed and it felt a like small bubble as he sat outside of it. Are they still that good of friends anymore- he wondered. Do people really change? Do their comfort people change too?
He slowly got up and realizsed she didn't even feel him go away.. he walked out of the house and closed the door slowly.
He kept his head on the door as he heard the laughters and thought I shouldn't feel this way.
Manan looked at sana and said- Are you okay?
Sana nodded and said- I didn't wanted him to stay here when he had to meet his girlfriend! I'm a good bestfriend!
Manan smiled at her and then ruffled her hair softly.
Manan looked into her eyes and said- Date me!
Sana chocked on air and said- What?
Manan- Yes! Date me- but wait before you become kung fu panda.. I meant fake date.
Sana rolled her eyes and said- Are we in some wattpad story or what?
Manan smiled and said- Trust me this would help you get a closure. Would you spend rest of your love liking him, then taking care of his kids? Sometimes all we need is a closure.
Sana bit her lip and said- But sometimes we don't need a closure Manan.. it's sometimes that you want to keep that wound open even though it hurts you.
Manan sighed and said- there's no wound in this world which doesn't heal. Yours will!
Manan rubbed his hand and said- SAY YES! Trust me!
Sana thought for a moment and then said- YES!
But-
Manan- I know no touchy touchy!
Sana grinned with her teeth and said- Let's have noodles?
Manan- I WAS FAMISHED! Thankyou for having some hospitality!
Sana slapped his head and walked to the kitchen.
It had been a week and Sid was royally ignoring Sana. He wasn't even coming infront of her and it hurt. It did hurt her a lot.
But tonight he can't, because tonight was a ballroom night and everyone had to be present there.
The night for which Manan was eating her head to wear the best outfit. He ended up buying everything for her even though she protested.
Sid was standing near the bar holding his glass of champagne in a black and white suit with his hair gelled back into perfection.
He swirled the drink as he looked around at people. He chuckled thinking what a misfit Sana would feel here.
Just when he felt people turning and loooking at the entrance.
He sighed and silently prayed that it's not his girlfriend making some scene.
He peeped over and then when his eyes landed on the scene, his grip on the drink tightened.
There she was, wrapped in constalletions and fireflies.
She was in the same colour of dress the drink he was gulping in a hurry.
He looked at her carefully.. her wild untamed hair was now nearly set.. her feet which used to be wearing only shoes was now stuffed in heels. Her face which had no makeup only bruises was styled with glitter and gloss.
He stared at her in awe but then looked away.
He couldn't resist so he again looked back and his breath stopped. She was HOLDING HANDS WITH MANAN.
Just when he thought to leave he saw Sana coming towards him with a smile, that smile which he could never refuse.
Her girlfriend looked at sana in shock and said- How did she get her Cinderella makeover? Woah from rags to-
Sid glared at her which made her quiet.
Sana needed at Sid who was looking at her blankly and said- How am I looking?
Sid- You are looking okay.
Sana looked at him with her smile slowly dropping when Manan came in and said- Sana his okay means AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL!
Sana smiled a little.
Sid looked at sana with straight eyes and said you look OKAY. Just okay.
Sana looked at him with hurt in her eyes when his girlfriend said- DONT worry Sana he has used so many good words for me today that it was short for him now. Anyways who is this guy next to you?
Manan smiled and said- Hi I am Manan and the boyfriend of Sana!
Sid who was looking at his drink froze.
He slowly looked up at sana with those eyes which no one could guess.
His eyes went on manan's hand which was on her waist and his eyes darkened.
Riya who was sid's girlfriend looked at the couple in shock and then quickly said- YOU BOTH LOOK SO CUTE TOGETHER OMG!
While the world talked Sid looked at sana straight with their eyes conversing. It was always like that, the world wouldn't understand what their eyes spoke.. that was their thing.
Why didn't you tell me?
You never were there to tell you.
Why did you date?
Because I wanted too!
Why?
What why?

Okay.
Sid cleared his throat and said- congratulations! I'm finally free from getting annoyed from her. She's annoying as hell !
Manan- I don't know who are you talking about- she's the cutest!
Sana grinned but her heart wasn't at ease.
Sid clenched his jaw but then quickly smiled and said- Well geninuely I'm happy for you both! Get married! Have kids!
Sana looked at him in disbelief and then said- Ofcourse we will! You are already invited for it!
As the situation got a little heated manan softly grabbed her waist and excused themselves out while Sid stared at them leaving slowly.
He loosened his tie as the air he was breathing in suffocated him.
He gulped down the burning drink down his throat as his heart tingled.
His girlfriend looked at him and said- You need to move on from Sana orelse you could never marry or fall in love with anyone. This is a wound which would hurt you for your whole life sid. Don't you see her happy in her life.
Sid looked at her with unexplainable eyes and said- She is that wound that even though if I feel from outside.. whenever I touch it I would feel that stinging pain again.
Riya looked at him in disbelief and said- don't you see her in a relationship? Wasn't this what you wanted?
Sid clenched his jaw as he saw Sana laughing while her hands on him stayed.
Just as an weird way.. Sana's eyes met him for a freaking second and she could swear she saw his eyes almost saying- DONT GO!!!!
Okay okay what's going on? So much stuff stored in..!!!!
