"Now, that was not jealousy, was it?" He taunted out loud.

"Cocky, aren't you?" I commented snarkily.  "I prefer the word confident." He smirked, before leaning forward and cupping my face with both his hands. My eyes widened for a second, but then, as if on instinct, they fluttered close and I leaned into his touch.  And then, he kissed me.
