You are the Reason (Johnny x reader)

Buster walked around the planks above the stage so he could escaped the angry mob who are still shouting for him.

"Moon! Open this door!"

"Come on, Moon! I know you're in there!"

He pulled a lever and jumps on the moon decoration as it went down. At the entrance, he opened the door, he jumped on his bicycle and rode away from the theater. He rode on the streets without looking at the cars or the passers-by, even getting between a picture being shot of a couple. But he continued to ride towards the restaurant to meet with his best friend, Eddie.

In an alley, a young gorilla, Johnny, was leaning against the wall as he sang.

In your mind

Could you ever be really close to me?

I can tell the way you smile

If I fell that I could be certain then

I would say the things I want to say to...

He stopped as he heard the radio static crackle. He looked seeing two police officers with coffee and donuts. He gasped and quickly hid at the other end of the wall as the officers walked by.

"Hmm, thought I heard someone singing there. Ah, whatever.", one of them stopped to look but then walked away.

Suddenly the bell rang, Johnny gasped and took out his walkie talkie.

"Guys, listen. Stay where you are. The cops are here in ...", he tried to warn but too late.

From above, three adult gorillas in blue overalls and bunny masks broke through the windows. Those gorillas were Rick, Johnny's father, and Stan and Barry, Rick's best buddies. The noises alerted the officers from before seeing the three.

"What are you ...?

"Hold it right there!"

"Yeah, I'll get him!"

Johnny looked at his dad who gave him a glare as he and his buddies jumped in the truck.

"Go, go, go!", Rick orders at the back.

Barry started the truck and drove towards the officers who jumped to the side and out of the alley. Johnny quickly ran out the alley to catch the truck as he held a hand to his father who pulled him at the back.

"Johnny, you were supposed to be keeping a lookout!", Rick scolded.

"Sorry, Dad."

"And where is your mask?"

Johnny quickly took his bunny mask and put it on.

The truck drove through the other cars as the police cars pursued them.

In an apartment, a woman pig, Rosita, was doing the dishes as she sing while her 25 piglets were eating lunch behind her.

Do you ever feel

Like a plastic bag

Drifting through the wind

Wanting to start again?

Do you ever feel

Feel so paper thin...

As she served water to one of her daughters, one of her sons, Casper, climbed on the table.

"Look at me. I'm Mommy!", he imitated his mom also her singing making the others laughed.

"Casper, get off the table.", Rosita ordered.

"Rosita, have you seen my car keys?", her husband, Norman, asked coming down the stairs.

She pulled the keys out of Tess's mouth, gave her a glare and tossed them to her husband.

"La-la la-la la.", Casper continued but Rosita grabbed him and set him on her hip.

"Norman, would you please tell them what a good singer I am?"

"Oh, yeah, you were great, honey.", he kissed her cheek, rather looking at his phone then his wife, which made Rosita frown, "By the way, the bathroom sink is blocked again. Bye, honey!", and went of the house.

Rosita sighed as she turned up the radio and put her head on her arms as she looked out the window.

At a cafe, two porcupines, the female, Ash, and her boyfriend, Lance, were playing their electric guitar as they sang.

One, two, one, two, three, four,

I don't wanna talk to ya

Nothing to say

I don't wanna walk with ya

Outta my way

I'm not gonna play for ya

Don't want to play

I don't need anyone else

Yeah, yeah

Suddenly Ash lost control of herself and also sang his boyfriend's role

I live my life by myself,

Yeah, yeah,

She kicked her microphone and pushed Lance to the side so she can be the star.

I can't stand the things that you say

Lance pushed her back so he could sing.

I'm not listening any...

He got interrupted as the music stopped. The owner of the café had pulled the cable of the speaker.

"Oh my gosh, I thought you guys said you were musicians.", he complained.

The two porcupines put the guitars back into the case.

"Ash, babe, I'm the lead singer, okay? Just stick to backing vocals.", Lance said as he went out of the café.

"Sorry, I ... I get carried away.", Ash ran after him.

"Yeah, I know, right? It just kind of ruins my song, you know?"

In a house, a teenage elephant, Meena, was in the kitchen lighting the last candles on the cake. Today was her grandpa's birthday. She picked up the cake as she walked towards the living room where her mother and grandparents were singing.

Happy Birthday to you / to me

Happy Birthday to you / to me

As she stood in front of the table, Meena sang with her eyes closed, her wishes to her grandpa not realising that the others stopped singing.

Happy Birthday to you

Happy Birthday

Dear Grandpa

Happy Birthday to you

She gasped now realising that she sang alone. Her mother and grandparents awwed at her singing.

"What? Come on, make you wish.", she said to her grandpa.

"I wish you'd join a choir. A local band or something."

"I tried."

"Bah!"

"Hey, hey, Dad, we've been over this.", Meena's mother said.

"So she's a little shy. So what? If I had a voice like Meena's, I'd be superstar by now! Just singing ... Ooh, yeah. I said ooh, yeah."

"Sure you would, Grandpa. Now blow out your candles.", Meena said.

With his trunk, he blew the candle out.

At the stairs of the tramway station, a white mouse, Mike, was playing his saxophone as the animals went past him.

A monkey came down next to him and tossed a coin in his case. He stopped playing and looked inside.

"A penny? How dare you! I happen to have studied at the Lincoln School of Music.", he scolded.

"Sorry, it's-it's all I got right now.", the monkey chuckled nervously.

"Oh, is that so?"

Mike went down and pulled the monkey down by his shirt collars.

"All right, prove it, pal."

"What?"

"Empty your pockets right now."

The monkey quickly pulled all the things he had from his pockets.

"Wh-What is this you got here?"

"Just trying to find ..."

Mike looked at the things holding an inhaler.

"What do you smoke out of this?", he asked the monkey.

"That's my inhaler.", the monkey wheezed.

Suddenly he pulled a wad of dollars attached to a clip out of his back pocket.

"Aha! I knew it!", Mike exclaimed taking the wad and climbed up the stairs back to his case, "You all saw it. You all saw it right here. The monkey lied."

The animals around the monkey gasped glaring at him.

"I forgot I had that.", the monkey confessed,

"And next time, pick on someone your own size!", Mike yelled.

He threw the clip at the monkey's head, who was taking a breath from his inhaler.

"Bully!"

He then continued to play his saxophone like nothing happend.
