The Auditions
You are the Reason (Johnny x reader)
Buster slept peacefully as his alarm clock rang. He reached it and shut it down yawning then sat up hitting his head.
"Ow. Mmm."
He brushed his teeth and put on his clothes.
"Let's go to work.", with his feet he opened the drawer and climbed on his office chair, "And cue the crazy old lizard and little sister."
"Good morning, Mr. Moon.", Miss Crawly entered.
"Good morning, brother.", (Y/N) greeted too.
"Indeed it is. Top of the morning to you two."
"I made you some coffee.", Miss Crawly handed him the cup.
But the cup was empty.
"You did? Where is it?", he asked.
"Oh, I got a little thirsty on the way those stairs."
"In case that happened, I made you a second cup." (Y/N) said setting the cup on the table.
"Thank you, little sister."
"Shall I go open the doors now?", Miss Crawly asked.
"The doors?"
"Well, we've got a lot of animals waiting in line to audition, Buster.", (Y/N) gestured to the window.
"We do?", he walked towards the window looking outside, "Holy moly, we really do."
The line was long from the theater till the end of the street. Buster called Eddie to tell what was happening.
"I swear to you, Eddie, this is no joke. (Y/N) can confirm it.", he said on the phone.
"It's true, Eddie.", (Y/N) yelled so Eddie could hear it through the phone.
"Look, just get down here and see for yourself. We gotta go."
He laughed in glee throwing the phone away.
"This is it, Miss Crawly. Get your scaly tail downstairs and throw those doors open wide."
The line became longer and longer as the animals waited for the doors to open. Buster, (Y/N) and Miss Crawly were at the lobby so the animals could register.
"Okay, uh, one at a time please. Calm down.", Miss Crawly said through a loudspeaker.
(Y/N) and Buster wowed at the many animals.
The auditions began with a scrimp group singing in a small water tank.

Buster danced during the song. Then a pig in a sparkly golden jacket and pants sang and danced.

The three juges looked at him with wide eyes and open mouth. The next constestant was a group of frogs.
Jump!
Jump, jump, jump
Might as well jump...

Rosita was handing the schoolbags to her children while saying goodbye to them.
"Bye, Iggy. Bye, Perry. Bye, Carla. Bye, Gail. Bye, Rory. Bye, Mickey. Bye, Moe. Bye, Nelson. Bye, Hannah. Bye, Tess. Bye-Bye, Caspar.", she closed the door inhaling deeply.
She took out the flyer from yesterday then took her purse after opening the door and closed it. Outside, she ran towards the theater.

The auditions continued with a sheep.

Then a group of red pandas sang.

Buster and (Y/N) looked at them dumbfounded looking at Miss Crawly who clapped at their horrible singing. Next constestant: a group of turtles.

Next constestant: a bull with afro hair.

Outside, Bob, the news journalist, was interviewing in front of the theater.
"Uh, let's hear from a few more of the folks in line. What about you, sir?", he turned to a hippo next to him.
"Well, Bob, I'm a lab technician for a leading pharmaceutical company, but I was born with a gift. And that gift is to sing.", the hippo said.

The hippo sang on stage but actually he was scatting while playing the keyboard. Then a group of rabbits sang while wiggling their butt.

The next constestant were Ash and Lance. They sang so loud that the wind from the speaker blew towards the judges.

And again Ash couldn't control herself and took the lead role.
I'm not listening anyway...

Buster and (Y/N) nodded at each other coming to the same conclusion. Then a lama played on his guitar but then tuned the strings. He wanted to sing but tuned the strings again. And again. And again. Everytime he tuned them, the sound became worser and worser making the judges wince. The next constestant: a group of birds singing Lollipop.

Rick exercises himself with the punching ball.
"Oi, Dad. Just going out.", Johnny said behind him.
"Well, don't be long. I got the gang coming over.", and continued punching.
Johnny opened the door looking if no one saw and climbed on his skateboard riding towards the theater.
Bob was now interviewing Mike.
"Well, look, I mean, I'm sure you're gonna get a lot of namby-pamby animals in her saying things like, "Oh, it's not winning. It's the taking part that counts." Yeah, yeah. Not me, pal. I'm here to win. That's prize it's mine."

Resumed with the auditions, a crocodile beat-boxed while dancing.
People say, "Yo, Humpty, you're really funny looking

Next constestant: a beaver.
Working 9:00 to 5:00...
Next constestant: a little kangaroo taken out of her mother's pouch.
We can dance if we want to...
Next constestant: a group of spiders.

Then a camel who hold a long operatic note followed by a snail.

Next constestant: a giraffe.
Ben, the two of us
Need look no more...
Buster shook his little sister who quickly write down the giraffe name.
"Ok, next we have ... Johnny.", Miss Crawly called to the backstage.
Just as (Y/N) finished writing, she looked up and gasp in fear. Just by seeing Johnny, she started to have horrible memories of her teenage life. Buster who looked at (Y/N) and then at Johnny, immediately knew what was wrong.
"Are you okay, little sister?", Buster asked.
"Yes, I'm okay."
"Are you sure you can take it?"
She nodded
This ain't love

"Wow! Thank you, Johnny. What do you think, (Y/N)?"
"Yeah, it was good."
Johnny looked at (Y/N) in question but nodded walking to the backstage.
"Okay, next up, we have Meena."
Meena entered the stage mumbling but then knocked the microphone down.
"Oh, I'm s... Oh I'm sorry. Uh...
"Okay. Hey, it's all right. You know, it's all right.", Buster reassured, "Take it away, Meena."
The music started.
"Uh... okay. Uh...", Meena stuttered.
"Anytime, now.", (Y/N) said.
Meena wanted to sing but being so scared she couldn't say a word.
"Do you want to start over?"
Suddenly Mike came on stage and pushed Meena away.
"That's quite enough of that. That's it. Come on. Off the stage, Helga. Go on. You're useless. Thanks."
(Y/N) watched in pity how Meena walked then turned to Mike with a glare.
"Right. Here we go. Hit it!"
Mike took off his hat as the music started and toss it towards the judges so that it landed on Buster's head.

Buster and Miss Crawly danced to his singing while (Y/N) continued to glare at him for breaking Meena's moment.

Meena walked out of the theater. She kicked a tree grunting in frustration for ruining her chance but all the leaves fell on her.

The line outside of the theater became smaller and smaller till all the animals were inside in the late afternoon.
