Chapter 100
Tame Me My Brother -in-Law By Sweet Sakura
100. PREGNANT
CELINEâS POV
My eyes flickered, and when I finally opened them, I discovered that I was in a room in a hospital. When I thought back about Sebastianâs terrified reaction when he spotted the blood on my nightdress, I couldnât help but shake my head.
I tried to reassure him that it was nothing serious, and just a normal period⦠but he was so concerned that he even took me to the Anderson hospital. I was about to sit up when I felt someoneâs arm wrap around my waist, and I could feel a warm, steady breath coming from above me.
I looked up and the manâs perfect jaw was pressed against my forehead.
âUhâ¦â I wanted to get out of his arms almost instinctively as I uttered a slight groan. However⦠even my slight movements were enough to startle the man who was holding me in his arms.
His voice was raspy as he murmured, âHmm⦠youâre awake?â
I removed his arm from its wrapping around me by carefully lifting it up and away from my body. âI have already told you not to bring me here anymore. Itâs nothing more than a periodâ¦â
Sebastian gave me a pitiful smile as he intertwined our fingers and es. It was evident that he hadnât been getting eyes were red and his hair was a mess.

I rolled my eyes at him before casting my gaze elsewhere. âWhy are we still here?â
âHow are you feeling right now?â he asked, instead of answering my question. âAre you feeling uncomfortable anywhere?â
How do I feel?
Nothingâ¦
I grimaced and pushed him so that I could stand up, but I let out a gasp when I felt a searing agony throughout my body.
âDonât move, just continue to lie stillâ¦â Sebastian jumped to his feet, quickly grabbed a glass of water, and then handed it to me.
⦠Iâm not thirstyâ¦â I mumbled, shaking my head. âExcuse me, but ! have to use the restroomâ¦â
âOkayâ¦â he sighed as he handed me the glass of water. âDrink this first, and then Iâm going to help you with the catheter so that you can go to the restroom without ha ssleâ¦â
My hand froze from taking the glass from his hand. âCatheterâ¦?â
I slowly bowed my head and looked down to see that a transparent tube had been attached from the fluid IV bag to the back of my hand.
âW-what happened?â I inquired while squinting in bewilderment.â Whatâs this?â
âYouâre pregnant, Celineâ¦â he seemed to be very dissatisfied as he informed me about this news.
Me? Pregnant?
The B-Mode Ultrasound image I showed everyone was fake. I just bought it on the black market!
ââ¦Iâm pregnant?â my lips trembled as I shook my head in disbelief
handing him back the glass that I didnât touch. I took a deep breath and tried to calm myself. âHow could that be? I had my period last.
monthâ¦â
âThen how was your period last monthâ¦?â he groaned. âWas there a very small amount of blood? You thought the small amount of blood was your period, so you didnât give it much thought, rightâ¦?â
As he continued to glare at me, the wrinkles on my brow deepened. âH -how did you know?â
âCeline⦠Why donât you take better care of yourself? Can you please come to the hospital when youâre not feeling better? Do you even realize that if you had arrived just ten minutes later, you would have been too late to save your life? You must have lost a significant amount of blood, da mn it!â he yelled at me while directing his venomous gaze toward me, scolding me like I was a kid.
âUh⦠what exactly do you mean?â My voice sounded like a feeble whisper when I posed the question, but it didnât bother me the way he talked to me, even if I was a little bewildered. The only thing I care. about knowing right now is my current health condition.
I was aware that if I were indeed pregnant, it was quite unlikely that I would have suffered a miscarriage.
After he announced, âYouâve had an ectopic pregnancyâ¦â my entire body, including my breathing, froze up in response to his words.
Ectopic pregnancyâ¦
âAccording to the doctor, an ectopic pregnancy would have slight occasional bleeding, but if youâre careless, youâd probably mistaken as your monthly periodâ¦â he paused to see my reaction, but I gave him a blank one. âHowever⦠having an ectopic pregnancy is exceedingly risky, and the doctor said⦠itâs possible that a significant amount of internal bleeding could occur in a relatively short length of
time. If you donât take action soon, it could be dangerous for your
lifeâ¦â
I was rendered dumbfounded by what he had just explained to me, and I found that my attention was beginning to wander. I had my period last month, and Sebastian was absolutely right. It was much.
less than usual.
At that point in time, I couldnât have cared less about it. It occurred to
me that perhaps it was due to the fact that I was overtired and anxious about the plans I had in place for the Lauren family.
But I wasnât prepared for thatâ¦
While I was staring blankly ahead at nothing in particular, my hand found its way to my stomach and caressed it gently.
There was a child here? My baby⦠Sebastian and mineâs babyâ¦
The room was engulfed in agonizing silence, and I had an overwhelming sense of guilt.
Sebastian took a deep breath before staring at me, and based on the expression on his face, I couldnât tell if he was upset at me or not; nonetheless, I didnât give a hoot about it at all.
âSo⦠did they remove both of my fallopian tubes or only one?â | asked him all of a sudden, and the scowl that was already present on his face became even more pronounced.
His chest was heaving up and down, and he had his fists clenched on his sides. His voice was low as he snarled, âWho said that?â
âI had a neighbor on the island, and she too had an ectopic pregnancyâ¦â I started to tell him a story. âAfter they had saved her, they informed her that both of her fallopian tubes would need to be removed. From that day onwards, she couldnât get pregnant normallyâ¦

âThen youâre luckier than she isâ¦â he said. âBecause they only removed one of your fallopian tubes. In spite of the fact that
becoming pregnant will be more difficult in the future, at least you will still have the chanceâ¦
âReallyâ¦?â As I looked into Sebastianâs eyes, I let out a sarcastic chuckle. âAll right, that settles itâ¦â
âAre you worried that you wonât be able to get pregnant in the future?â He asked while elevating my chin slightly.
I glared directly into his eyes while sneering and shaking my head in response. âThat wasnât something I was considering. If I were to become pregnant with Andersonâs heir, I would rather have both of my fallopian tubes surgically removedâ¦â
Sebastianâs face turned very dark all of a sudden, and I was startled enough to tear my eyes away from him and shake his hand from my chin.
âI would appreciate it if you could excuse yourself, Mr. Anderson. I have to get some sleep!â I laid down on the bed and turned my back on him.
When I felt his footsteps walking away from me, I bit my lips tightly, trying to prevent myself from crying, and when I finally heard him slam the door shut, I let out a loud so b and my shoulders shook violently.
