It was Sasha… but not with my father. She was with another man!

The man did not allow her any space to catch her breath, which

caused her words to come out in spurts.

“I want to do it here in the Anderson garden…” the man chuckled. The excitement level here is much higher than it is outside…”

Just when I let out a sly smile, the rock I was leaning on accidentally loosened, and with a resounding crash, it fell to the ground.

The joyful times that they were spending together were abruptly brought to an end in an instant.

“Who’s that?” Sasha asked, and the sound of someone pulling their pants up from the inside was followed by the sound of footsteps.

I was turned around forcibly, as the man pulled me further to hide. behind the rockery. I looked up at him in a daze, and when I recognized him, my eyes widened to their fullest possible extent. “S sebastian? What are you doing here?”

Before he responded to my question, he extended his hand and shook the bamboo tree that was next to us. In an instant, the eagle that had been perched on the tall bamboo rushed over to us at a high rate of speed. Then it landed on his hand, but his wrist was scratched by the eagle’s claws because he was not wearing gloves at the time.

Almost immediately, there were streaks of blood visible. He didn’t give it much thought before tossing the eagle in the direction of the front of the rockery.

The large bird flapped its wings as it landed on top of the rockery, and then it slowly flew back in the direction of the bamboo tree.

He flashed a grin before coc king his head to the side and casting shadows across his features. “I wasn’t expecting you to have a habit of listening in on other people’s adventures outside…”

At first, I was stunned, and then I noticed that my face was turning bright red.

“What are you talking about?” I scoffed. “I wasn’t eavesdropping! I was just strolling in the garden!” I was actually investigating. When didn’t get an answer from him, I continued. “How about you? Wh business do you have popping up here instead of keeping my sister company?”

I became annoyed when I realized that his other arm was encircling my shoulder, so, I angrily shook my shoulder and pushed him away from me.

Following that, I tucked some stray strands of hair behind my ear that had been blown loose by the wind.

Sebastian took a keen interest in the varied expressions that were on my face, and a glimmer of a smile appeared in his eyes as he whispered… “Talk about having the gift of gab when it comes to making arguments that are non sequitur. I had the impression that Sebastian was just going to nod his head and then leave, so, I was taken aback when he took a step forward wrapped his arm around my waist, and pulled me closer to him.

When he cupped his free hand around my chin and compelled me to look at him, I let out a gasp. “Celine…” he mumbled in a low voice. “I had no idea that you were so skilled at distorting the truth, hmmm…?”

I smiled and looked squarely into his blue eyes, making no attempt to deflect or avoid his forthrightness in any way. On the contrary, I knew that there was a kind of cu nningness that he’d see in my eyes.

I averted my gaze for an instant, then slowly stretched out my hand and reached for the expensive suit he was wearing. After that, I slowly. moved my fingertips up his shirt and started buttoning up the three buttons that had been left undone.

I felt him freeze up, his eyes followed my hand that was expertly working.

“Both you and I…” I smirked as I paused. “There’s no distinction between us… Why do you feel the need to hide who you are?”
