Chapter 74
Tame Me My Brother -in-Law By Sweet Sakura
voice was coming from, and there we saw Sebastian standing in the doorway with his arms crossed.
I swallowed when there was only a towel wrapped around his waist, so his perfect figure was completely visible. His hair was still damp, and a drop of water ran down the side of his beautiful eyes before falling down his collarbone.
It was a test devised by the devil himself. This version of him, without his typical indifference and alienation, left me with a suffocating and soul-penetrating feeling. There was a trace of kindness there for some unexplained reason.
âSebâ¦,â Cynthia whimpered as she gradually released her hold on the straps of my nightgown, which she had been holding for some time.
What?
When I lowered my head, I was startled and brought back to reality when I saw that my nightgown had been ruined, exposing both of my
breasts.
I grimaced and was shocked as I came to my senses. âSh itâ¦!!!â | squeaked as I pulled the blanket over and covered myself, wrapping tightly around me. Then I curled up like a shrimp and buried my face in the pillow to hide the embarrassment I was feeling.

CELINEâs POV
âWhatâs the matter here?â Jakeâs voice rang out not too far away, and soon after, the sound of his approaching footsteps could be heard.
âMove along⦠nothing to see here! Get some sleep!â I overheard Sebastian say something, and then being followed by the door slammed shut.
When I finally looked up, I saw that Cynthia had gotten off the floor and was heading toward the door to lock it.
âHey you! Get the hell out of here!â Sheâs not finished yet, but she frowned when she saw that the color was changing on my face and it was becoming more
. âWhat is that look that you have on your
face?â
âDoes everyone in your family always come into your room doing it in this specific manner?â I inquired, rather than providing an answer to her question.
âHey! Hold it right there!â she said. âMy brother has never entered my room since I was twelve years old. That reminds me, he should never enter my room just now. At most, he came in after knocking and calling out my name a couple of times. But⦠in all these years, he has never before appeared dressed in nothing but a bath towel and in such a rush!â
After a brief pause, Cynthia gazed in my direction while maintaining her frown.
âDonât let yourself get any bright ideas!â I moaned while giving a stern look in her direction.

âYouâre having an affair with my brother!â her eyebrows were pulled together very tightly.
âThatâs not even funny, Cynthia!â I rolled my eyes at her. âThere is no way that could ever happenâ¦â
âAre you sure?â
âVery sure!â I said as I pulled the blanket over my head, hiding my reddened face. âSleepy time! Goodnight!â
When I felt her lay down next to me and pulled the blanket over her, I couldnât help but smile as I finally closed my eyes and fell into deep
slumber.
It was well after five in the morning and bitterly cold outside when I opened my eyes again.

Over the course of all of these years⦠I had gotten used to getting early every morning because I had to make some soup and get motherâs medicine ready for her.
But right then and there, my mom was no longer aroundâ¦
The moment I opened my eyes at this hour of the morning, I was always greeted by an excruciating pang of loneliness each and every day.
As I slowly stood up in the room⦠the cozy light that was next to the bed was already on. Next to me⦠the spoiled brat girl was soundly dozing off with the bear still cradled in her arms. She was less arrogant like that and looked more pleasing to the eye. I wish she was always sleeping.
I laughed silently as I got out of bed and quietly looked through her closet for something to wear before going out of her room. I chose

denim pants and a gray sweater and hurriedly put them on after stripping off the ruined nightgown. I was glad I have the same built of body as Cynthiaâs.
There was a wall lamp outside the door, so the corridor wasnât that dark to walk in. As I went downstairs⦠my hand, gliding along the
handrail.
When I first got up⦠my intention was to get some water to drink, but when I heard the sounds of commotion and various people venting their frustrations in the kitchen, I made my way over there instead.
There were two dashing gentlemen standing in the kitchen, and the table was covered in a mountain of clutter.
âI tried to warn you, I just canât pull this off, dad!â Sebastianâs voice was laden with gripes as I looked at him from hiding behind the wall. All you have to do is wake up Mr. Lee so that he can prepare some food for you. What gives you reason to believe that I can pull this off?â
âHe was working all day yesterdayâ¦â Mr. Anderson stated. âDo think that he isnât exhausted? Why are you making such a big deal of the fact that Iâve asked you to make me breakfast?â
âNo, Dad⦠itâs not!â he responded in retort. âWith all due respect⦠can you please take a look at the time? It is far too early for you to start feeling hungry!â
âI donât care what time it is! I just wanted you to get up and make me breakfast as soon as possible!â Mr. Anderson exclaimed in a
lighthearted manner.
While I was watching them, I couldnât help but cra ck a grin. They were arguing in a manner that was entertainingly similar to that of two friends. I had no idea that the icy and heartless Sebastian Anderson possessed such a soft spot in his heart. And his father was different from other wealthy people in many ways. It was easy to talk to him

and get in touch with.
âHow much water should I put in?â Sebastian asked, holding a pitcher
of water.
âI canât say for sureâ¦.â his father said, grazing his finger over his beard. âWhy are you even asking me that?â
âDad!â
âWhat gives you the right to think that I know?â
Sebastian shook his head helplessly at his dadâs answer, scratching his nape in frustration.
âCan you help me search on the internet?â the son asked with a smile
on his face now.
âNo, need. I know you can do it without watching it on the internetâ¦â his dad said, waving his hand. But Sebastian didnât move. âOh, come on! Iâm dying of hunger hereâ¦â
After saying that, Mr. Anderson sna tched the pitcher out of Sebatianâs grasp and poured the water into the flour while Seb looked at it in confusion. Within a split second, the flour devolved into a gooey and
unsightly slop.
âWhat did you just do?â he exclaimed while looking at his father with
a frown.
âIâm trying to help here! You said you didnât know what to do, right?â
âDad!â He pouted like a little boy, and I found him so adorable that I wanted to give his cheek a little pinch. âHow on earth am I going to knead the dough in all its damaged glory now?â
âWell, add more flour thenâ¦â the old man said, and I wanted to burst out laughing when he grabbed a large bowl of flour and dumped it into the other bowl with all of his magnanimity.

Sebastian did nothing but stare at the pathetic imitation of dough and lapsed into silence.
I felt the need to step in and help.
âGood morningâ¦â I was terrified that they wouldnât finish making breakfast, and that Mr. Anderson would end up starving to death as a
result.
âOh, hi there, Celine⦠Why are you up so early?â The old man inquired while maintaining a jovial expression on his face.
The scene that was playing out right in front of me made me unable to contain my laughter.
Both of their faces were dusted with flour at that point, and Sebâs black shirt was completely covered with the white powder.
âWhat exactly are you guys up to?â I pretended not to notice Sebâs miserable expression as I approached them.
âI didnât eat very much yesterday, you knowâ¦â the father smiled sheepishly as he continued. âI have never been so hungry right nowâ¦
âWhy didnât you just have the head chef make it for you?â I inquired, glancing over at the chaotic table.
âEveryone is completely spent. I canât go around disturbing him while he sleepsâ¦â oh, what a kind master he is to his ser vants. âBut look, all I wanted for this man is to make me bread, and oh boy, what a
mess that has turned out to be!â
Mr. Anderson appeared to be in a hopeless state as he shook his head and gave the impression that his son was of no use to him.
However⦠I was well aware that he was merely making fun of him.
In addition, I was taken aback when I heard his statement. I had the impression that people who came from wealthy families wouldnât risk
