Chapter 75
Tame Me My Brother -in-Law By Sweet Sakura
getting their hands dirty unless it was an absolute necessity. And I would never have guessed that such a powerful old man could be so
generous.
âCan I be of any assistance?â I inquired while simultaneously rolling. the sleeves of my sweater up. âWhat exactly are you trying to do here? Iâll make itâ¦â
âYou know how to cook?â
I smiled at his question. âDid you want to make bread?â
âYesâ¦â he answered. âDo you know how to make them?â
I smiled, walking over to the bowl in front of them. Sebastian stepped aside and gave way to me, and I immediately began to work.
I quickly made a ball of dough with the original messy mixture, then began taking out ingredients from the fridge, such as meat and vegetables. I mixed them together in the blender and ground them. And then stuffed the ingredients inside the dough.
âCeline, youâre pretty talented when it comes to working with your handsâ¦â the old manâs expression conveyed astonishment as he exclaimed, âYouâre even better than our cook!â
I couldnât help but cr ack a grin as I replied, âNow, thatâs an exaggeration, Mr. Anderson⦠Making bread is not nearly as difficult as you might thinkâ¦â
âIs Brylee also skilled in the art of baking bread?â I was in the middle. of putting the tray in the oven when he suddenly asked, and my hands froze up.
As I turned to face him, a smile spread across my face. âWell⦠I suppose youâll have to inquire with my sister about that. Only she can. provide the response to your questionâ¦â
He laughed and said, âOh, Iâll remember that⦠Just so you know, Iâve

heard that youâve been seeing Jakeâ¦â
Before turning to face him, I washed my hands and made sure the door to the oven was securely shut.
I couldnât help but steal a glance at Sebastian, who was standing there impassively listening and watching us.
âAre you worried that Jake might be negatively influenced by me in
the future?â
âNo, no, no⦠thatâs not what I meant.â He laughed. âI was just thinking⦠that man has a good eye for womenâ¦â
Sebastian coughed awkwardly and then turned around, moving in the direction of the restroom that was located close to the kitchen.

CELINEâS POV
âMr. Anderson⦠I believe you to be the first person who has ever thought thatâ¦â I said as I began to clean up the mess that had been left on the table.
âCeline⦠may I ask you why you said that?â The old man inquired while giggling at himself. âYouâre a nice woman. If only Sebastian wasnât going to marry your sisterâ¦â
I looked up at him, confused. What does he mean by that?
âItâs possible that youâve picked up on the rumors that are going
around about me on various social mediaâ¦â I stated.
âYou said it yourself, dear⦠They are nothing more than rumors. Nobody is able to differentiate between a truth and a lie. What Iâve seen with my own eyes is not a rumorâ¦â he said.
And I must admit, his response did catch me off guard a little bit. Evidently, this wealthy man standing in front of me had a mind that was astute and prudent, and he was very skilled at dealing with other people. I wasnât surprised to learn that he was a very successful businessman, due to the manner in which he conducted his business.
âSince its inception⦠the Anderson family business has steadily expanded over the course of its history. We all failed to provide Cynthia with appropriate discipline. We marked her with a black card, but we overlooked the opportunity to educate herâ¦â
It was clear from the tone of Mr. Andersonâs voice that he was filled with remorse, and I could feel the depth of his love for his daughter. It was at that moment that I almost wanted to regret the physical harm I had caused Cynthia.

âHer brother coddled her, and as a result⦠she grew up to be the spoiled brat that she is nowâ¦â he continued, letting out a long sigh before pausing for a few seconds. âI heard everything that you said at the party last night, and you were the first person who could make my daughter incapable of making any further comments. You should know that her mouth is like an armalite; she just canât control what comes out of itâ¦â
It made me laugh. But as I looked at him while I was washing my hands, a serious expression crept over my face.
âSo⦠you want me to teach her and tame that fiery temper of hers? Change that bad attitude that sheâs been showing over the yearsâ¦?â
âYeahâ¦â he nodded.
I gave him a quizzical look. âArenât you afraid that I will lead her astray? That she will end up on the wrong road rather than the right, road that you want her to take. Why donât you just get a trained expert to take care of the problem for you?â
Mr. Anderson flashed a grin before shaking his head. âCeline⦠as you well know, life is the same as doing business. Gambling is the only way for us to determine the outcome. How much more awful can she make herself? How far is she capable of going?â he asked.
And the same thing occurred to me after I heard him say it.
âYouâre the first person Iâve met who doesnât fear her, and the fact that you donât fear her alone makes you so much more powerful than any famous professional in the world. Youâre also the one who first succeeded in keeping all of that rage under control for her⦠You really impressed me, Celineâ¦â he said, and I smiled. âI should let my girl learn that she canât do whatever she wants with moneyâ¦â
No⦠I was more impressed by this powerful man. The way he thought about educating and teaching his daughter⦠And he truly was

a genius when it came to running a business. Indeed, he is correct. You ought to engage in gambling. At the very least, I have a fifty- percent chance of winning.
Every action I took at this point was me getting ready for Julio Laurenâs fall from grace. Because of this extremely intelligent individual, I picked up some new information.
The alarm on the oven went off, letting me know that the bread had finished baking at that point. I put on a potholder and removed the tray from inside the oven.
âCeline, my dear⦠youâre quite a talented cook! This bread is very delicious!â Exclaiming his contentment with the bread he was currently consuming, Mr. Anderson remarked on it. âJake would be the luckiest person in the world if you were going to marry himâ¦â
I couldnât help but blush at his statement. After giving the clock on the wall a quick glance, I noticed that it was already fifteen minutes before seven oâclock. I need to get back to Cynthiaâs room before it gets too late.
âI should go, Mr. Andersonâ¦â While he was still in the middle of
devouring the bread that I had made, I bowed down to him. âIâll rouse Cynthia so she can get ready for schoolâ¦â
âAre you not planning to eat anything?â
âCynthia and I will eat together later. Thank youâ¦â I said, leaving the kitchen in a hurry.
But as I was walking down the hallway, someone intentionally bumped into me and pinned me against the wall, then pressed his hard body against mine.
âS-sebastianâ¦?â I whispered as I looked up at him.
I stifled a gasp when he leaned closer to me, fanning my ear with his

After that, he took a step back, and those blue orbs of his locked onto mine with a strong possessiveness.
Because I found it uncomfortable to be looked at by him, I pushed him away with all the strength I could muster. Nevertheless, this stunningly handsome man had a sharp mind. He took hold of my hand and pressed it against his chest, directly on top of his heart.
His eyes became piercingly bright all of a sudden, and with a chilly smile on his face, he said in a low baritone⦠âYouâre serious about wanting to marry him, arenât youâ¦?â
I wanted to retrieve my hand but the man grabbed it so tightly that!
couldnât move at all. I stared up into his eyes with a miserable
expression.
âMr. Sebastian Anderson⦠why do you care who I want to marry? What does it have to do with you?â
He appeared to be smiling but his eyes were narrowed as he looked closely at me. He then took a deep breath while inhaling the scent of my hair and asked, âIt has nothing to do with me? Maybe you need my help to jog your memory a little bit?â
The ambiguous words were pounding in my eardrums. I looked at him. in shock. I knew what he was trying to say. Heâs acting as if he owned me because of what happened to us.
âOh, man⦠calm down, itâs not that big of a dealâ¦â I scoffed at him.
As he continued to stare at me intently, the room fell into a deathly. stillness that enveloped him. I did not experience any fear at all, nor did I have any difficulty. When I looked into his dark eyes, my eyebrows arched upward in concentration.

âThese kinds of things are so out of style now. Donât be concerned; I wonât force you to shoulder any responsibilityâ¦â
As a wise man said⦠the times weâre in are changing. Of course, I was aware of that⦠However, I couldnât help but wonder whether this man is still bound by the primitive values he was raised with.
In addition to that, I couldnât help but think back to what Jake had told me before. Sebastianâs very first experience was with meâ¦
That remark put a smile on my faceâ¦
And to my astonishment, Seb froze up⦠but he quickly bent down and kissed me on the lips. I was taken aback, and my pupils drew together as I allowed him to kiss me. And by the time I came to my senses, he had already let go of me.
