Chapter 33

32. Mad At Them!

Dark Temptation!

Author's POV

After the effect of medicines Arabella didn't wake up. She was knocked down for good.

The sunlight filled the room and she was waken up by the heat, she was suddenly filling hot and stuck in something.

She opened her eyes and saw Oliver sleeping beside her, he had his arm wrapped around her firmly.

He was too close, she moved her face away just to find out that Arthur is sleeping on her other side.

A small gasp left her lips. Both brothers were sleeping beside her.

She quickly sat up, waking both of them. They groaned together sleepily and she nervously looked at them ignoring their sexy morning groans.

"What are you both doing with me in bed?"

She frowned.

Both of them quickly got up with her question.

Oliver ran fingers through his hair.

"You were having nightmare last night so I slept beside you."

He lied to save himself.

She frowned at him but looked at Arthur.

"And you?"

Arthur cleared his throat.

"I.. I thought you might need me so I joined in."

For the first time he was speechless.

They both looked at her nervously, realising she is mad at them.

"Kitten, we are friends... You were injured so I was just worried about you..."

"Yeah , you looked vulnerable last night."

Arthur agreed.

"And if friends don't look after you then who will?"

She was still sulking at them but then realised something.

"Jesus! I was here all night... Everyone will be worried in the orphanage... I didn't tell anyone."

She panicked.

"Relax!"

Arthur assured.

"I informed them last night that you got injured so you will be staying here for the night, which someone else didn't think about."

He mocked Oliver.

"Thank you but guys."

She covered herself with bedsheets.

"Matilda says that boys shouldn't be in girls' bed without her permission. It's a bad thing."

She complained.

"Thank you for taking care of me but I guess we can maintain decency to not invade eachothers personal space like this... I don't like closed rooms and suffocated place..."

She got up from the bed while limping. Her knees were bruised badly.

"Where are you going?"

Arthur asked.

"Washroom. Sorry, you two can't accompany me there."

She snapped back and started limping away.

"You can't walk, I'll help you."

Oliver tried to get up.

She looked back and gave him warning look. He cleared his throat and leaned back.

"I was just offering, it's fine. Go!"

"Did she just scolded me?"

Arthur looked at Oliver confused.

"Did she just glared at me?"

Oliver at him amused.

"By the way what the hell are you doing in my bed. Because of you she is mad."

Arthur threw pillow at him.

"After 12am it was my time but you were sleeping like a bear beside her. I just joined in. Be grateful that I didn't kick you out of the bed."

"Well, good job but she didn't like it... She won't say it out loud but she is mad at us."

He threw the pillow back.

Arabella came out after freshening up. She had changed into her dress.

They both got up and approached her.

"Kitten, we just wanted to be around you."

"We were just worried, Dove."

Arthur tried to explain.

"We didn't have any other intentions."

"Do you think we will do anything which will make you feel bad?"

Oliver asked gently.

She shook her head tensed.

"It's not that, I am just... I don't know how to feel about this."

She was in dilemma.

"I... I can't."

"Relax! What's wrong? It was nothing harmful... We were just laying beside you."

Arthur stroke her cheek.

"Uncle Brian used to do this."

She declared.

"I don't like waking up beside someone without my knowledge... I am sorry."

Both of them looked at her stunned. They didn't know that small thing like this is a trauma for her.

"I just want to stay alone for sometime... I am sorry..."

"It's okay!"

Oliver assured.

"Take your time."

She looked at Arthur.

"Thank you for saving my life..."

Brothers looked at her as she sadly walked out of the room.

They both gave eachother annoyed look and got ready for the day.

When they went downstairs, Garry and Noah were already at dining table. Cami was serving breakfast but Arabella was missing.

"Where is she?"

Oliver asked while taking his chair.

"She went back to orphanage."

Garry informed.

"She was injured and wanted to take a few days off so I said okay."

"What?"

Arthur scowled at him.

"And you didn't think it's important to tell me?"

"I thought you would want the same thing for her. She was hardly walking, man."

Garry said in his defence.

"Your bodyguard doesn't inform you things. Get a grip on him."

Oliver mocked Arthur.

"Oliver!"

Noah smiled nervously and he looked at him.

"I am the one who dropped her back."

Oliver glared at him.

"Dumb fuck!"

"Now what do you have to say?"

Arthur mocked Oliver.

"This is all because of you."

"Because of me?"

Oliver argued back.

"You decided to join us in bed."

"In what?"

Garry and Noah gasped in unison.

"Guys, she is a minor."

"Shut up both of you."

They scolded them in unison.

"You don't blame me for this, you were with her in my timing."

Arthur complained.

"And yesterday you suggested to go in the back of the house  and that's why she fell down."

"Look at this man. Doesn't have a shame at all."

Oliver gasped offended.

"I saved your motherfucking life. Be grateful!"

"I'll push you from the cliff and will save you, come!"

Arthur mocked.

"Guys!"

Garry yelled and everyone went silent.

"What happened? What's going on?"

They told him everything, ofcourse not without arguing with each other.

"It doesn't matter who's fault it was. The thing is she is mad at you."

Garry declared.

"Which is a good thing!"

Noah smiled and everyone gave him 'are you in a right mind' look.

"Girls only get mad at those people who are close to them, which means Arabella is comfortable enough with both of you to get mad. Good progress!"

"How do you know?"

Garry asked mockingly.

"Have you ever had a girlfriend?"

Noah mocked back and Garry shook his head.

"Then shut up!"

"Oliver had girlfriends... He would know."

Garry objected.

Oliver smiled awkwardly.

"Guys, I don't even remember their faces. You are expecting me to remember their behaviour patterns?"

Arthur scowled at him

"Yeah, how can you remember faces when you look at just their___"

"Don't you dare!"

Oliver warned.

"See, look at his reaction. I am not lying...."

Arthur mocked.

"You are definitely Damian Knight's son!"

"Don't talk like Mom... I am definitely telling this to Dad."

Oliver complained.

"Daddy's boy..."

Arthur scoffed.

"Oh god! Guys, you are not in kindergarten anymore."

Noah grabbed his head.

"Do you realise that you have a problem in front of you and it's a big problem... It's difficult to patch up with girls."

"Not a big deal for me. I know how to do it."

Oliver looked at Arthur challengingly.

"Overconfident as always."

He rolled his eyes.

"I know how to bring my Dove back."

"Let's see who brings her back."

Oliver challenged.

Noah and Garry grabbed their heads, another battle had started between the Knights. The question is who is going to win.
