55. The Friend!

Author's POV

Arabella didn't hug Mosa but let her hug her. Mosa broke the hug and smiled at her.

"Thank you!"

Arabella knew that Mosa can't leave the place, Rancho will kill her and she knows his wicked mind too. She knew that he will ask her to kill Mosa because she is her friend. He loves to play with emotions, especially with Arabella's emotions which she doesn't show him.

"Did you tell Ombre about it?"

Mosa asked.

"No!"

Arabella assured, Ombre has gossiping nature and today or tomorrow she will spill the secret which is not good for anyone. That's the reason why Ombre was not involved in the plan.

"You are free now!"

Arabella turned to walk away but Mosa grabbed her hand and stopped her.

"You are not my senior anymore but I guess we can share life secrets one last time."

Mosa sat on her grave and made Arabella sit beside her, she knows that no one comes towards cemetery this late.

She looked at Arabella's straight face, she was not showing it but Mosa knows that she is feeling sad.

"You will miss me, right?"

Arabella nodded.

"Yes!"

Mosa smiled.

"Arabella, you used to smile so much before... Can I see that smile again?"

Arabella shook her head.

"It died with that Arabella..."

"I heard you met Knight brothers again."

Mosa asked curiously.

"How was it? What did they say?... You must be really happy today."

Arabella looked at the moon.

"They have pledged to destroy me... Fair enough!"

Mosa looked at her sadly.

"They must be thinking that you didn't love them but I have seen you struggling to live without them... This ruthless Arabella wasn't your goal but you made yourself like this so you can handle the agony of separating from them... You have become like a stone now, this was not your dream... Maybe you should tell them that you really love them."

Arabella smiled bitterly.

"Meeting them after five years, after lying to them about anything and everything, after getting reintroduced by their enemy and after hurting their sister?... They would probably think that this is a new act. They are burning in flames of anger and it's natural... I don't blame them!"

"True! May be you should have tried to reach them. I don't know, may be."

Mosa shrugged.

"But your reasons were also strong, I don't blame you... Rancho was so furious after knowing that you fell for them, he wanted to kill you but Brian assured him that it was just an act. Brian hid it from Rancho that you refused to kill them and was ready to take death penalty, but we all know that Rancho is a psycho and he would have killed Knight brothers just to show you that you can't go against rules... May be Knights would have helped you to tackle the situation but I doubt that they would have trusted you after knowing your real identity and we can't blame them, it would have been honest reaction... You separated from them to save them."

Mosa knows all her secrets and feelings.

"Can't we do anything about Rancho... He is so evil, he is destroying everyone's life. Renzo was much much better than him, after his death Rancho has crossed limits... You are so strong now, can't you kill him?"

"No! He has trained us and remember one thing, Rancho will never teach us all his techniques. He would be fool to do that. Renzo also had upper hand than all his fighters and Rancho too, they have kept some skills to themselves which helps them to control other fighters... It will take so much to take him down and I have no motivation for that."

Arabella explained.

"Don't you want to meet Knight brothers again?"

Mosa asked.

"Is it worth? I don't know where my life is now. I thought they love me but no, their egos were more stronger than that. They didn't want to win me but their egos..."

She kept staring at the moon.

"They simply asked me to choose between what they want, they never asked me what I want. My wish never mattered to them, they had already made their decision... One of them would leave Knights if I choose other one."

She smiled bitterly, recalling how they were talking while thinking that she was asleep. Assassins never sleep!

"The ego was on top of everything. I didn't go there to break families... Life is easier when I have stopped feeling things, no guilt or remorse. All this happened is all because of feelings... I am done with everything, I have no desires now."

"You are saying this now but what will you do when they will come to get you. Damian Knight did the same thing, he purchased Rose from Renzo and I think they are going to do the same..."

Mosa was worried about her.

"And what if they tried to take revenge for it!"

"I am strong enough to handle their punishment. I'll take it, don't worry!"

Arabella replied taking her eyes off the moon.

"You should go now."

Mosa nodded proudly.

"But don't take unnecessary shit, you have mourned and suffered equally as them. You deserve love, and you will definitely get it..."

They got up.

"Well, don't know about lovers but at least your best friend is only one."

Arabella smiled softly.

"No, there was one more crazy green head. But she is probably going to hate me too."

"No one is going to hate you, I believe in you... Please call me if you need me for anything, I owe you my life."

Mosa started walking away.

Arabella watched her walking away and sighed with heavy heart.

"Hate is a small word for what they are feeling right now."
