57. The Condition!
Dark Temptation!
Author's POV
"She is not in those classes but she not class A either..."
Arthur smirked, taking a dominating step towards him.
"If you decide then you can do anything, after all you are the boss."
"So you want me to sell my best fighter?"
Rancho chuckled mockingly.
"Poor deal, Mr. Arthur... I don't see any benefit in this."
"I am not here to buy her, I am here to take her on rent... As an assassin or bodyguard, whatever it will be."
He demanded.
"She is not worth keeping for life anyway... And you know why I want her. Don't worry about the money."
Rancho smiled greedily.
"I love generous customers like you."
Arthur looked at him disgusted, he was equally responsible for whatever happened and soon he will punish Rancho too. The only thing is he is too powerful now so they have to be careful.
"This way! Don't worry, I'll get her to stand in auction."
He showed them their place.
They were crossing hallways and saw Arabella training her students. She was standing like a boss, her voice was powerful while giving instructions. And respect for her was clearly visible in her students eyes.
Both of them stopped and watched her, the delicate girl was really dead. She wasn't any kitten or dove.
Arabella's eyes fell on them and everything paused for a moment, their eyes were asking her thousands of questions and if she wouldn't have been pro in hiding emotions then her eyes would have given all answers.
She turned her eyes back to students and they walked away.
Arthur and Oliver took their places, the ground was huge and all preparations were made to show their powers.
"Today the lower level fighters will get auctioned, There are teams trained by high class fighters... They have to fight within teams and three teams which gets top positions will get auctioned tonight."
Rose informed them.
"Arabella's team is also participating for the first time..."
"Great! Buy some fighters, we need more people."
Damian suggested.
Arthur and Oliver both were curious to see how Arabella's team is going to do and how she has trained them, it will also give them idea how strong she is.
All teams introduced them and their trainers. All teams had seven members and her team was last to introduce themselves.
"All her trainees are young and smaller in frames, will they be able to survive even first round?"
Rosetta asked Arthur.
"It depends on trainer, size doesn't make much impact when you have skills. It depends on how she has trained them."
Arthur replied, inspecting her team.
Arabella stood in her place, watching her team closely as fight started. All trainers were yelling and instructing their students in ongoing fight but Arabella was silent. She didn't even instruct them once but her eyes were watching them like an eagle.
She trusted her team, knowing that she has trained them so excellently that they won't be needing her guidance anymore.
Her team cleared all the stages and not just got the first place but achieved it by defeating all other teams very badly, so badly that other team members were not even able to stand on their feet.
"My god! She has created beasts."
Rosetta was impressed.
"They were brutal."
Oliver's heart broke, seeing that the innocence he fell for was never there.
Arabella looked at her team proudly as all her team members was taken by reputed families on higher and reputed positions.
But the catch was, Ombre was taken by Rose. Now she will work for Knights.
The day was over and Rancho was surprised seeing that all her students except Ombre demanded that he should give Arabella Class A badge.
He wasn't going to do that because he knows, after that he can't sell her to Knights.
The conversation was private and Arabella was present there, she wasn't hopeful because she knows that Rancho will find his way out. If he wanted to give her that badge then he would have done it long back, she just wanted to see what he will do this time.
Rancho was smart, he put forward the condition that all her team members should vote positively. Everyone said yes but Ombre didn't vote for her which Rancho knew would happen.
"I don't think she deserves badge A. We all know that she has failed the mission..."
Ombre said.
Arabella was calm, she knew that Ombre is going to ruin it. But her nature was to hold no hard feelings.
"Thank you for your admiration towards me, team. Just remember that no badge can define your worth. I wish you all a great journey ahead... It's time to leave!"
She addressed them.
All students were admiring her, they bowed in front of her but Ombre didn't. Rancho noticed it.
"Rules, Ombre!"
He warned her.
Ombre scowled but bowed in front of Arabella, it's a rule that they have to bow in front of their seniors and trainer to maintain hierarchy.
Rancho addressed Arabella when all her students left.
"I want to be on my knees in front of you, you are a great teacher... I am so proud of you."
"If there is nothing left then then I'll take your leave."
She bowed in front of him.
"There is one important thing I have to inform you..."
He said and she didn't miss the hint that he was informing, not asking.
"You are not class A so you have to step into the auction."
He declared.
Arabella could see the greed in his eyes.
"I am not in those classes who gets auctioned."
"Agree!"
He smiled mischievously.
"But as you know that I make rules here... And I want you to get auctioned. Don't worry, I am not selling you. You will be hired for specific timeline."
She understood who wants to hire her and for what.
"You are the head and I don't have a right to deny you but I have a position in this agency which no one has, so I feel I at least have a right to put one condition while getting auctioned."
Rancho smirked, he was going to have fun with the drama because he knew that Arabella wasn't going to give in so easily.
"Whatever you say, my beautiful lion"
"I'll only accept that owner who will defeat me in the fight."
She demanded and Rancho's smile dropped.
