60. Won in Auction!
Dark Temptation!
Author's POV
Arabella entered the ground, it was a fighting day but she was still unaware who is going to fight with her to win her in auction.
She was still under impression that Rose will fight with her because it was a tie with each brother.
Arthur entered the fighting ground and she frowned, thinking why would he come again when there was a tie but her eyes furrowed when Oliver entered after him.
She looked at Rancho for an answer. Rancho stepped forward with mischievous smirk.
"Twins are considered as one person in mafia world... I can't oppose it..."
Arabella looked at brothers, her eyes were cold as ice but there was a thought that they didn't come together when it was about loving her but they came together when it was about revenge.
Rancho started the fight and Arabella was the first one to attack, Knights didn't attack her. They kept blocking her.
"She is still the strongest one. Do you think they can win against her?"
Rosetta asked her mother.
"Together they can. They are stronger when they are together."
Rose smiled proudly because whatever they were doing was working.
Arabella could fill her energy draining, they were working in sink for that.
It was last one second when she was trying to dodge Arthur's kick but unfortunately her foot touched the boundary line and Rancho stopped the fight.
"As we all saw, Knight brothers have finally won the match together..."
He declared.
"I told you, they can do it if they are together."
Rose smiled.
Knight brothers stood there as she took an oath to protect them with her life, to never let their any order go unheard and to become their shadow.
Rancho also declared that they can only keep her until they give rent and after that she have to return to agency, she can't defy their any orders or disrespect them, if she tries to escape then they have the right to kill her.
"I hand over her to you, you have got the best fighter. Make the best of it!"
Rancho smirked.
Oliver scowled and walked away, without looking at Arabella.
She was standing there unfazed, but knows that her life is going to take sharp turns from now on.
Arthur stepped towards her with arrogant smirk.
"Welcome to hell, little lion... It will be interesting to see how obedient you are."
She watched him walking away with his family.
Thinking if they are going now without taking her how when should she go there.
"We need to leave tomorrow."
She turned towards Ombre when she informed. Her face looked victorious and tone mocking.
"What's the use of so many skills when you had to end up just like me? Anyways, watch your back because I am waiting for a chance to ruin everything for you."
Arabella didn't react to her silly threats. She knows that Ombre is problematic and their decision of hiding Mosa's reality was right.
Arabella spent her night while packing her things, there wasn't much to pack except her weapons. But she forgot to pack her hard feelings for knight brothers, looks like her facade of being emotionless was converting into reality. She was scared to go there, in fact she wanted to see what they have in store for her.
She left with Ombre next morning and reached Knight mansion.
This was her first time seeing their house in person.
The gates opened and she entered inside, Ombre tailing behind her.
"Wow, it's going to be so much fun to stay here."
Ombre looked at the mansion with shiny eyes.
"Employees stays in that wing... I'll guide you."
The guard informed and they looked at the building beside mansion. Which wasn't as fancy as mansion.
"We are going to stay here? Eww!"
Ombre scowled and all her desires got crushed.
Arabella started walking towards the wing but guard stopped her.
"Sorry, I forgot to mention that you have to report to Chief first. After that you can go to your rooms."
Arabella understood that drama has just begun. She followed the guard along with Ombre and saw Arthur training men in the ground. She didn't see any girl in the tea. He was strict and was perfect as a Chief, she could see that in five years, a lot of things have changed.
He didn't even look at them, they stood there until he finished his session. It took almost an hour. Ombre was already getting impatient.
He finally looked at them after dismissing everyone.
"Yes?"
"Chief, these two are sent by R agency."
The guard informed.
"You, go report to Rose ma'am..."
He ordered Ombre and she left.
Arabella was looking at him with straight face and he was watching her with arrogant smirk.
She bowed in front of him.
"Good morning, Chief!"
She greeted in monotone.
His blood boiled when she didn't call him by name but didn't show it.
"Garry!"
He called his friend.
Garry stepped forward and looked at Arabella with disappointment and disbelief, he wasn't ready to believe that she is the same innocent girl.
"Show our new assasin her room."
Arabella frowned slightly when Garry asked her to follow her towards the mansion and not other wing.
She clearly remembers guard telling them that employees stays in other wing.
"Garry, I assume that I should be going towards that wing."
She asked him as they entered inside.
"Don't assume things because you are definitely not normal employee for them... And you know it too, Arabella."
Garry snapped at her.
"I just can't look at your face..."
She nodded.
"You are right in your place."
"I don't give a fuck what happened in the past but if I saw you trying to hurt them then I'll be the first one to shoot you."
He warned.
She just nodded, knowing that he is equally hurt and she is going to get these reactions from everyone.
She was following Garry when she saw one more familiar face which she wasn't expecting there. She halted in place.
"Julie?"
She looked at furious face.
