65. The Legacy!
Dark Temptation!
Author's POV
"Ma'am, this is your bike and I can't borrow this even for a single use. One needs to be worthy to have it."
Arabella tried to give that key back to her.
Rose smiled and closed Arabella's palm around the key.
"I am passing on this legacy to you, Arabella..."
She declared and Arabella looked at her shocked.
"Till now I didn't see anyone worthy enough to have it. When I saw you, I felt that I am watching my young self... You are worthy of this. This is your responsibility now."
Arabella looked at the key and then at Rose.
"I'll never let you down. You won't regret trusting me with this."
Rose nodded proudly.
"I know!"
On the other hand, team was at the location. The port was huge.
Julie looked around confused.
"What are we actually doing here?"
"We are here to steal weapons of Rafael Delgado..."
Lilly grinned.
"What?"
Julie eyes widened.
"But why?"
"Not actually stealing it, we are going to fight his men like Knights... In fact, we can't call this stealing because Rafael first confiscated our containers, now these are crossing our territory so we are getting it back... You and I have to hack the digital locks of containers."
She informed.
"Cool, it will be fun!"
Julie was excited.
Arthur and Oliver looked around but didn't see Arabella.
"Where is she?"
Arthur asked.
"Lilly, she was supposed to come with you."
"Chief, she is coming. Ombre took her place so there was no space in the car."
Lilly informed.
Arthur looked at Ombre and scowled.
"If she doesn't reach here on time then I hope you know the consequences."
Ombre looked down embarrassed when he scolded her in front of everyone.
They waited for sometime but Arabella didn't come.
"I told you that she was needed here, all the best now."
Lilly scolded Ombre.
"Let's not wait for anyone, just get over it and get back home."
Oliver ordered and everyone agreed.
They attacked men and took most of them down but Rafael was prepared for it. He had hired assasins to deal with Gorilla warfare of Knights, he knew that they will come. He was not letting them succeed even when he was sitting at home.
"Julie and Lilly, you can't fight against these professional assasins. Hide and come out only when it's safe to break the lock."
Oliver ordered them and they followed.
"These are not from R agency, looks like Rafael has found new agency for himself."
Arthur said while taking down men.
They managed to deal with most of them but they weren't stopping, Rafael had sent uncountable men and Knights were few in numbers, some of them were already injured.
Ombre was good in the beginning but she was not strong enough to fight with multiple men at the same time, it wasn't any training session. They were brutal.
"Chief, please call Arabella... We can't stop these men for long..."
She requested.
Arthur saw how Ombre was already exhausted. Garry and Noah were also struggling to deal with all of them.
"Where are you, Dove?"
He grabbed his phone and was about to call her but then heard roar of bike.
"Mom?"
He looked at Oliver confused, he wasn't expecting Rose there that too with her fighter bike.
The bike stopped and their eyes widened in surprise when Arabella removed her helmet.
"Oh my god!"
Lilly gasped excited, they were hiding behind the car but could see them.
"Rose gave her bike to Arabella. She finally found her heir... Wow! Arabella must have earned it with her hardwork."
Julie smiled when she heard her, no matter what's going on between them. She was still happy for Arabella.
Ombre was burning with jealousy, the bike she wanted was with her enemy now. Nothing was more humiliating for her.
Arthur and Oliver looked at each other surprised. They were still processing the fact that their mother passed on her legacy to Arabella.
Arabella used the smoke bomb, everything turned smokey and when the vision cleared all men were laying dead on the ground. It didn't take more than five minutes for her to take them down.
"Let's go!"
Lilly ushered Julie. They sneaked towards containers to open them.
Arthur and Oliver looked around towards piles of dead bodies which she single handedly piled up. It was realisation that there was a beast behind innocent face.
She killed so many men and yet there was not even a single drop of blood on her clothes.
Julie was breaking the locks and didn't realise when injured man attacked her. She managed to fight with him and he fell down, thinking he is not going to hurt her she resumed her work.
But the man pointed gun at her and pulled the trigger. Julie didn't realise what happened but she was pushed by Arabella.
"What's wrong with you?"
She hissed while controlling her stumble but soon her eyes widened when she realised that Arabella took bullet for her.
"Arabella?"
She quickly rushed towards her and saw that she was bleeding on left side of her belly.
Arabella touched the spot and saw blood leaking everywhere. Brothers rushed towards her and Arthur quickly did the work to stop her bleeding. Oliver got the car to take her back.
Julie saw how Arabella was calm and wasn't even frowning in pain, she risked her life to save her.
"Isn't she feeling any pain?"
She asked when Arthur and Oliver took her with them.
Lilly shook her head.
"These fighters go through worse than this... This is nothing for them... They are literally robots and it's not there fault, Julie. So if you get time then think from her perceptive too... Don't loose your friend."
Julie started crying after realising that she was wrong about Arabella.
"I was so wrong about her."
On the other hand, Arabella closed her eyes on Arthur's shoulder.
"Dove?"
His heart skipped a beat when she gave up.
