Chapter 30

27~He is in London

His Longing❤️

I was paralyzed with shock when I heard the news that he was coming to London. I didn't know how to react or what to do next. I was completely frozen in place.

After a few moments of stunned silence, I snapped out of it and rushed to Kriti's class. Without hesitation, I burst into the classroom and called out to her. Her professor glared at me, but I ignored them and waited for Kriti to follow me out.

As soon as we stepped out of the classroom, Kriti turned to me, concern etched on her face. "What's wrong, Aaru? Are you okay?" she asked.

I quickly hugged her, and tears began to fall from my eyes. "He's coming to London," I stammered.

Kriti's expression turned serious. "Who's coming to London?" she asked.

I took a deep breath and composed myself. "He's coming to Zain's house. Things just got a lot more complicated. I don't know how I'm going to tell Zain about this. We're not exactly on good terms, and now I have to deal with him too."

Kriti's voice was calm and reassuring. "Listen, first of all, don't worry about Zain. He's mature enough to understand you. But the most important thing is that he's coming to London. We need to focus on dealing with him first."

I nodded in agreement, my determination renewed. "You're right. I know Zain likes me, and he'll understand me too. Let's take care of that bastard first and teach him a lesson."

Kriti and I continued to discuss our plan of action, our conversation fueled by our determination to take on the challenges ahead.

I

couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off about saarah's reaction to Zunaid bhai's name. It seemed like she had frozen in place, but I pushed the thought aside and headed to my classes.

As soon as the class ended, I rushed out, my mind preoccupied with thoughts of Zunaid bhai's arrival. I didn't understand much of the lecture, as my focus was elsewhere.

I went home to rest, but my sleep was short-lived, as I had to wake up at 3 AM to pick up Zunaid bhai from the airport. I quickly freshened up and headed to the airport.

When I arrived, I realized I was late, and Zunaid bhai was already waiting for me. I spotted him reading a newspaper in the waiting area and went up to him, hugging him from behind.

"Assalamualaikum, Bhai," I said, and he replied with a warm smile, "Walekum assalam, little bro."

We chatted casually as we made our way out of the airport and loaded his luggage into the car. As we drove, Adi messaged me, and my phone's screen lit up, revealing my wallpaper - a picture of Saarah and me.

Zunaid bhai noticed the photo and looked at me curiously. I quickly turned off my phone and continued driving.

When we arrived at my penthouse, I showed Zunaid bhai to the guest room and told him to rest. As I was about to leave, he called out to me.

"Zain," he said, and I turned around.

"Yeah, Bhai?" I replied.

"Can I ask you something?" he asked, and I sensed what was coming.

"Yeah, sure," I said.

"Who's the girl on your lock screen wallpaper?" he asked, and I knew I had to tread carefully.

"Oh, she's just a friend," I said.

"Friend or girlfriend?" he pressed, and I felt a hint of annoyance.

"Nope, just a friend," I replied.

Zunaid bhai seemed skeptical, but he let it drop. However, he then asked, "Can I meet her?" which caught me off guard.

I made an excuse, saying she was just a college friend, and we weren't close enough for him to meet her. But Zunaid bhai persisted, saying he wanted to meet her because she had managed to become my friend, which was no easy feat.

I reluctantly agreed, saying I would take her to meet him. As I left his room, I couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. The way Saarah had reacted to Zunaid bhai's name, the way he had looked at her picture, and now his eagerness to meet her - it all seemed too coincidental.

I lay down on my bed, but my mind was racing with thoughts of Saarah and Zunaid bhai. It seemed like they might know each other, and I couldn't help but wonder what secrets they were hiding.

NEXT DAY :

After breakfast, Zunaid bhai reminded me to take Saarah home that day. His persistence was starting to get on my nerves. I needed to get to the bottom of what was going on between them.

As we arrived at college, I headed straight to the band room, where I found Saarah, Kriti, and Varun already gathered. We exchanged casual greetings, and Kriti gave Adi a warm welcome.

Varun joked about Kriti and Adi's affectionate display, and Saarah playfully rolled her eyes. I couldn't help but chuckle at her adorable reaction.

"Saarah, listen," I said, getting everyone's attention. "My brother has come from Paris, and I'm hosting a small dinner party. He's interested in meeting my friends, so I thought I'd invite you all."

Varun eagerly accepted the invitation, and Kriti teased him about always being up for a free party. Saarah, however, seemed lost in thought.

"Saarah?" I called out, trying to get her attention.

She didn't respond, so I gently nudged her. "SAARAH!" I said, louder this time.

She snapped out of her daze, looking startled. "Huh?"

"Are you coming to the dinner party or not?" I asked.

Saarah hesitated, and I sensed something was off. "Where?" she asked, and we all exchanged amused glances.

Kriti patiently explained, "Aaru, babe, we're going to Zain's place for dinner."

Saarah's response was lukewarm, and I noticed she was avoiding eye contact with me.

After college, we all headed to my place for dinner. As we settled into the living room, I kept a close eye on Saarah and Zunaid bhai. Their interactions were tense, and I could sense a deep-seated animosity between them.

As dinner progressed, I found myself distracted by Adi and Varun's conversation. When I turned my attention back to Saarah, I realized she was missing. Zunaid bhai was nowhere to be found either.

I excused myself and began searching for them. I finally found them in the garden area, engaged in a heated conversation. Saarah's anger was palpable, while Zunaid bhai seemed to be provoking her.

I crept closer, trying not to eavesdrop, but my curiosity got the better of me. I overheard Saarah say, "Do you think after doing all this, I'll let you leave in peace, Fully?"

Zunaid bhai smirked, responding, "Oh, my little bird, you have no idea how much I don't want you to leave me."

Saarah's anger boiled over, and she spat out, "Don't worry, Mr. Malik. You will pay for your deeds. And I won't let you live to see another day. Allah will never forgive you, and I'm sure you'll find no peace in hell. I'll kill you with my own hands."

Her words sent a chill down my spine. What was going on between them? Why did Saarah want to kill my brother? I needed answers, and I was determined to get them.

But I will get my answer from them very soon

Next after dinner ;

After dinner, everyone headed home, and I made my way to Zunaid bhai's room, determined to get some answers. I found him scrolling through his phone, gazing at a picture. As soon as he noticed me, he quickly shut down his phone and turned his attention to me.

"Oh, Zain, you're here. Do you need something?" he asked.

"No, I just want to ask you something," I replied.

"Yeah, sure," he said, his expression neutral.

I got straight to the point. "How do you know Saarah?" I asked.

Zunaid bhai's demeanor changed, and he tensed up for a moment before composing himself. "I knew you'd ask that," he said, his voice laced with a hint of sadness. Suddenly, tears began to well up in his eyes.

"She's my little sister," he choked out, his voice cracking with emotion.

I was taken aback. "What?!" I exclaimed.

Zunaid bhai took a deep breath and began to explain. "Actually, during college, I was in love with a girl named Saira, who was Saarah's elder sister. We fell deeply in love, and Saarah was very close to me. She'd often call me 'jiju' and treated me like an older brother. I felt the same way about her."

He paused, collecting his thoughts before continuing. "Everything was going smoothly until that fateful night. I discovered Saira cheating on me, and I was heartbroken. When I went to confront her, I found her being raped by some men. I tried to help her, but it was too late. They killed her right in front of me."

Zunaid bhai's voice cracked as he struggled to hold back tears. "Saarah appeared out of nowhere and saw me standing there. From that day on, she's accused me of murdering her sister."

I was stunned by this revelation. "Why does she still want to kill you?" I asked, trying to process the complexity of the situation.

Zunaid bhai sighed. "Because she believes I'm responsible for Saira's death."

As he stood up to leave, he turned to me with a pleading expression. "Please, dude, save me. I know you trust me more than her."

"I'll expose your true identity to your lovely brother," I threatened, but Zunaid bhai just chuckled.

"Do you think he'll believe you over his own brother?" he sneered, his eyes glinting with amusement.

"He'll believe me," I insisted, my voice rising. "I know Zain understands me, loves me, and trusts me more."

Zunaid bhai's laughter sent shivers down my spine. "Aww, my little bird, so blind in love. Okay, now I'll show you how much he loves you."

His sinister tone lingered in my mind, and I knew I had to act fast. I decided to confide in Zain before Zunaid bhai spun another web of lies.

With a sense of urgency, I went to bed, but sleep eluded me. After a struggle, I finally drifted off, aided by sleeping pills.

The next morning, I woke up at 4 AM, feeling a sense of restlessness. I decided to take a walk in the garden to clear my head.

As I strolled alone in the darkness, I sensed someone's presence behind me. I smirked, recognizing the person.

Zunaid bhai attempted to attack me, but I dodged his move and tackled him to the ground. With a surge of adrenaline, I pinned him down, my hand pressing against his neck.

Just as I was about to unleash my fury, someone grabbed me from behind, holding me back. I tensed up, but as I recognized Kriti's familiar touch, I composed myself.

"Stop, dude. We're not killing him that easily," Kriti said, her voice firm.

I nodded, and together we signaled our bodyguards to take Zunaid bhai into custody. Before they dragged him away, I grasped his face, my eyes blazing with intensity.

"Aww, my poor fucking jiju. Now I'll show you heaven. Just wait and watch," I hissed, my voice dripping with malice.

Zunaid bhai's face twisted in anger. "You'll regret this."

I laughed, a cold, evil sound. "Oh, how much I want to regret, but you know I'm fucking happy finally to have you in my hands."
