04~A friend or enemy?
His Longing❤️
Today, I went to the supermarket with my friend Adi, who had forgotten to buy groceries. With our third year of college starting tomorrow, we decided to stock up on kitchen essentials to avoid future troubles.
As Adi went to retrieve his car, I waited outside and witnessed an attempted purse snatching. The targeted girl bravely retrieved her purse, but accidentally hit me with her shoe while chasing the thief.
My phone rang, and it was my mom. "Yes, Ammi?" I replied. "Beta, where are you? Come back home and call your dad. He's waiting for you," she said. I agreed to visit during the vacations.
As I turned around, a flying shoe hit my head. I turned to see the girl from earlier approaching me. "I'm so sorry. I was trying to hit the man who snatched my bag, but I accidentally hit you. I apologize; it wasn't my intention," she said.
Before I could respond, she continued, "You came between us; I was about to hit him." I was taken aback by her audacity.
"Enough! Are you crazy? You talk too much!" I exclaimed. "I-I-" she started to say, but I interrupted her. "Not a single word. How dare you hit me with your shoe and still claim it's not your fault?" I yelled.
She shot back, "Listen, Mr. Whatever-you-are, I apologized for my mistake. Why are you shouting at me?" I was furious. "You chipkali-type girl, apologize properly or face the consequences!" I warned.
She retorted, "You cockroach-type face, I won't apologize again!" I was about to respond when my phone rang. It was Adi. I picked up the call and joined him in the car.
As we drove away, Adi told me about his encounter with a girl in the parking lot. I rolled my eyes, amused by his story.
We headed back to our mansion, where we lived together. I called my dad and agreed to visit during the vacations.
I introduced myself as Zain Malik, the only heir to Malik Industries and the future CEO. I described myself as a rude and arrogant introvert who doesn't believe in love.
The next morning, I woke up early, worked out, and got ready for college. Adi and I grabbed an apple and headed out, driving our respective cars to college.
Upon arrival, I discovered someone had parked in my designated spot. I confronted the driver, a girl who got out of the car and yelled at me. We exchanged insults, and I arrogantly offered her money to cover the damages.
The girl broke my car's windows and backlight in retaliation. I was furious and declared a "face-off" with her, putting a sticker on her forehead that read "Phoenix Target."
She removed the sticker, and the crowd began to gossip. She confidently declared that she wasn't intimidated by me, and I was left seething with anger.
I smashed my car's windows further, determined to destroy the girl who had dared to insult me. I vowed to show her the true power of Zain Malik, the phoenix of the college.
"What do you mean by 'your parking space'?" she asked, her voice laced with annoyance.
"The spot where you parked your car is mine, so please move it," I replied arrogantly.
"Why do you think you own this place? What's your problem?" she yelled, her eyes flashing with anger.
"How dare you raise your voice at me? You're new here, aren't you?" I sneered, my tone dripping with condescension.
"Yes, I'm new here, and I don't know you. But that doesn't mean you can damage my car," she shouted, her voice echoing through the parking lot.
I smirked, taking out a bundle of dollars and my car keys. "Here, take this. It's more than enough to cover the damages. And park my car for me, too. Keep the change," I said, tossing the money and keys at her.
I turned to leave, but my anger was still simmering. A few minutes later, I heard the sound of breaking glass and my car's alarm blaring. I rushed back to the parking lot, my heart sinking as I saw my Audi R8's windows and backlight shattered.
The girl stood beside my car, a rod in her hand and a smirk on her face. "I think this is more than enough to cover your damages. And don't ever try to mess with me," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
She turned to leave, but I caught her hand, twisting it behind her back. "You've made the biggest mistake of your life by messing with me," I snarled, my eyes blazing with anger.
She stepped on my foot, and I groaned in pain. "You will regret this," I warned, releasing her.
"Oh, really?" she said playfully, a mischievous glint in her eye.
I clapped my hands, drawing the attention of the surrounding crowd. "Everyone, listen up! This girl is now my target. No one will come between us. I declare a face-off with you, Miss Rude Ass!" I shouted, slapping a sticker on her forehead that read "Phoenix Target."
The crowd erupted into cheers and whispers, and the girl removed the sticker, a confident smirk still plastered on her face. "Oh, so you want to fight me? But I don't think you're worthy of being my opponent," she declared, her voice ringing through the air.
I seethed with anger, my face burning with humiliation. "First, become worthy, then come to me with your so-called face-off," I spat, turning to leave.
The girl's laughter echoed behind me, and I knew this was far from over.
I lost control and grabbed the rod, smashing it into my car repeatedly. The vehicle was ruined now, and I couldn't believe she had insulted me, the phoenix of this college. Her confidence was astonishing.
I vowed to destroy her, to show her the true power of Zain Malik. I was determined to make her regret messing with me.
But something nagged at me - her voice seemed familiar, reminiscent of the shoe psycho from earlier. And her parting words echoed in my mind: "I'm not cable." Now, I was more determined than ever to show her what I was capable of.
"Just wait and watch, Miss Chhipkali," I muttered to myself, seething with anger. "I'll show you hell..."
"Zain Malik," a voice called out from behind, and we turned to see a guy standing there. "The boy you messed with is Zain Malik, dear," he said with a smirk.
I shrugged nonchalantly. "So what?"
The guy's expression turned serious. "So, Miss Fresher, you've made the biggest mistake of your life by messing with him. Let me give you some friendly advice: apologize to him and save yourself from the upcoming storm."
I raised an eyebrow, unfazed. "Oh, really? Listen, I'm not scared of anyone â not Zain Malik, not the so-called phoenix, and certainly not you."
I smiled sweetly. "Thanks for the free advice, but I don't need it."
The guy chuckled. "Impressive. Well, I'm here to tell you that Zain Malik will take his revenge tomorrow at 4 pm. Be ready."
I narrowed my eyes. "And who are you, by the way?"
He grinned. "Aditya Ray Raghuvanshi." He winked at Kriti, who seemed lost in his eyes. With that, he turned and left.
Now I'm getting stressed. On the very first day of college, I got into a fight with the college's phoenix, and now he's seeking revenge tomorrow. What will be his next move? The thought sends shivers down my spine.
I pushed the thought aside and turned to Kriti, who seemed distracted. "What's wrong?" I asked.
Kriti stammered, "N-nothing."
I raised an eyebrow. "Spill the beans."
Kriti hesitated before speaking up. "Yesterday, I told you about the guy who parked his car in the wrong way, making me late. That guy flirted with me, and guess what? That boy is none other than Aditya, the same one who just warned us."
I raised an eyebrow. "Oh, really?" Kriti nodded.
I teased her, "So, do you have a crush on him?"
"No, what the hell are you saying?" Kriti exclaimed, her voice rising in indignation.
I held up my hands, taken aback by her outburst. "Okay, okay, I'm just asking. Why are you shouting?"
Kriti's expression softened, and she took a deep breath. "Stay away from him, he's not good for you. Didn't you see how he threatened me and delivered that ominous message from the Phoenix?"
I nodded in agreement. "Yeah, you're right."
We attended a few more classes before heading back to our penthouse. As we walked, my mind kept drifting back to him. There was something unsettlingly familiar about his voice, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it...
That's All for today, Hope You all liked it!
