Vincent stood up and shook Darwin’s hand. He realized how Maria was acting like a bodyguard before Kazumi told him the same realization.

After thinking about it, Maria was a little evident when she kept waiting for them every Sunday. They only invited her once to their home, but she kept waiting for them and was invited every Sunday.

Vincent and Lilith walked hand in hand to the library. There was still time for Maria’s lesson to begin. The more they moved from one hallway to the other, the more students who were lurking around the academy gossiped about the pair.

Rumors about Lilith had become exaggerated because of her new appearance. On the other hand, Vincent’s was about him being a D or C Ranker in strength and how it wasn’t fair to fight against him in the upcoming ranking battles. Other rumors mentioned how Vincent might be a beast in disguise for the monstrous shout they named Lion’s Roar.

Apart from the rumors about Vincent, he was also receiving hate unintentionally. Vincent sometimes noticed male students frowning at him for some reason, but he couldn’t understand why.

The reason happened unintentionally. When female students were unhappy with their fiance’s actions, they would mention how their appointed partner for life by their parents isn’t as good as Vincent because he knows how to care for a woman, unlike them.

Later, after Vincent and Lilith went to the library, the surprised Gusto and Alessia congratulated Lilith for achieving what she wanted to achieve.

Time flew quickly in the library, and they went to meet with Nick, Clair, and Jun Ye Rim. The gaze of the students was focused on them while passing them by. Fortunately, Nick’s infamy repelled prolonged stares because of his presence.

Lilith entered the outdoor magic class while following Vincent. She was already feeling anxious from everyone looking at her, and as she unhappily expected, her classmates couldn’t stop looking at her.

The thing Lilith wanted the most caused her to receive more gazes directed at her. Lilith hoped the days would pass quickly and the current hot news of her change would become a thing of the past.

“Isn’t my wife beautiful? Hahaha.” Vincent shamelessly boasted while laughing out loud to bear Lilith’s attention on him. He casually went to grab a large portion of cushions and placed them on the ground in their usual spot.

Lilith blushed when she saw Vincent as if he owned the place and pat the cushions for her to sit beside him. Her heart raced when she overheard a comment from a female classmate saying, “Why did she have to become so pretty all of a sudden?”

*Gulp* Lilith went to sit beside Vincent and nervously looked down as all the class’s attention was on them. Fortunately, the attention repellent Nick went to sit beside Vincent, and the situation calmed.

*Sigh* “Annoying little brats are blocking my way.” Maria angrily said when a group of students were still at the entrance to the outdoor magic class.

[Maria looks pissed this morning. I wonder what happened to her.]

Iris grabbed five magic seeds of wildflowers because she was curious to see if Zero could grow a body of flowers and look pretty. She converted them into a Seed Guardian’s seed and placed it in front of Zero.

“Eat or absorb that Zero. It will help you...” Vincent abruptly stopped mid-sentence when Zero obeyed his order without hesitation. As if Zero had become obedient to his orders.

Zero wrapped its tiny vines around the seed. It pulled it and placed it in front of its chest. More tiny vines wrapped around the seed, making Zero look similar to a spider using its spiderweb to store food.
