“I want a furry wolf pup next. ” Lupa said while raising her hand.

“I don’t mind becoming a mother of more. ” Iris said while fiddling with her hair, and her cheeks blushed.

“After the life I lived, I never imagined becoming a mother of my child or an adopted child. It still feels like a dream to me.” Lilith honestly said.

Sakura looked at Shana suckling on her thumb while looking back at her. Sakura smiled and said, “I am an Oni, and Shana is a lizardman, but she will be my daughter nonetheless.”

“I applaud the conviction of taking calling a child you did not bear as your own. I, Princess of Luster fall, Anna Lusterfall, think many more people can follow your example.”

“I agree, your highness. ” Lucas said while nodding. “It means fewer orphanages being built secretly by shady people.”

The door opened, and Yula appeared. She was pushing a serving trolley, and three little maids walked behind her.

Lucas’s hawk-like eyes caught the four approaching them, even if Ester, Lupa, Iris, Lilith, and Sakura almost took all his view.

While Lucas chuckled, Bilka frowned upon seeing three children with the slave tattoo. She looked at Anna to check her reaction, but Anna smiled instead of becoming appalled by such a view.

“Can the three little maids serve us? I want to ask how they are doing after being saved from that cruel and horrible noble.” Anna said with a pleasant-sounding voice.

Anna appeared to be delighted. Seeing the three little girls being treated raised her spirits. Unlike Bilka, Anna knew what happened on the day Vincent killed a noble and took his place.

Ester, Lupa, Iris, Lilith, and Sakura made way for Leah, Clara, and Beth to approach the table.

“W-what can w-we offer?...” Beth said nervously. She was the one to speak first as the oldest of the trio.

“How cute. ” Anna said. “Are you happy here?”

The three of them nodded with genuine smiles on their faces.

“Can this old man know why cute kids like you are wearing clothes for maids?” Lucas gently asked, but it was the opposite effect.

Leah went behind Lupa, Clara went behind Iris, and Beth went behind Sakura. They peeked at Lucas from a safer place, yet they did not respond.

“Heh! You scared them! That is why men are unreliable.” Bilka scoffed.

“I bet all the biscuits on the table that the cute little maids will also think you are scary.” Lucas challenged Bilka as if he was an old child.

Bilka took up the challenge. She looked at the three little girls and stood up. “Do you cuties think I am scary?” She asked as friendly as she knew.

However, to Bilka’s shock, Leah, Clara, and Beth nodded at the same time. The muscular woman they never saw before was intimidating in their eyes.

Lucas hysterically laughed, and it became infectious.

The first to laugh was Vincent, and Lupa was second. Anna giggled, and Ester, Iris, Lilith, Sakura, Plow, and Sofy followed suit. Even Shana giggled a little bit.

Leah, Clara, and Beth questioned why it was funny before the infection’s mood made them giggle. On the other hand, Maid Xu and Yula became nervous and held their smile.

A while later, the laughter calmed down. Maid Xu respectfully offered to reserve the as Leah, Clara, and Beth were too young to handle dangerous objects such as a hot teapot.

Shortly, Maid Xu served the guests and Vincent while Sofy served a warm beverage to Ester, Lupa, Iris, Lilith, and Sakura.

Since it would be dangerous to drink a warm beverage in the presence of Shana and her randomly triggering trait, Yula took care of Shana, and the three little girls stayed beside her.

“Lord Vincent, the requested item has been prepared and cleaned. Do order to have it brought here?” Maid Xu asked.

Vincent went inside the mansion. He pushed outside a chair on wheels, causing Anna to grin delightfully.

Vincent sat in the wheelchair. “I will show you how safe this wheelchair is.” He said before activating Overheat.

His hands, covered by warm gauntlets, touched the two rear wheels. Vincent smirked and pushed himself forward with great might.

Vincent sped forward, and the wind created by his speed caused some of the snow to move while the closest to the wheelchair melted.

However, with great speed comes great wheel gripping loss.

Vincent had almost arrived in front of the wooden gazebo with speed he accumulated in seconds. Regardless of how much Vincent wanted to stop by holding the wheels from moving, the wheelchair kept moving forward.

The wheelchair glowed green, and Vincent jumped off the wheelchair with a backflip. While the wheelchair dematerialized, the green particles entered Vincent’s hands.

Vincent stopped using Overheat. He looked at the audience and smirked confidently.

“I intended for that to happen, haha. I wanted to prove the wheelchair’s durability by moving with a lot of speed on wet and frozen grass.” He lied with a poker face.

“Hahaha!” *Clap, clap, clap* “Now that was an interesting showcase. ” Lucas praised.

On the other hand, Bilka frowned, and her heart raced with worry. Anna would definitely get hurt moving on such a dangerous moving chair, she believed.

Ester, Lupa, Iris, Lilith, Sakura, Sofy, Maid Xu, and Yula became worried the Princess of Lusterfall could get hurt, and it could cause a tremendous problem. They looked at Vincent with the expression saying, ‘Don’t let her highness on the wheelchair.’

However, to everyone’s expectations, Anna’s eyes sparkled like glitters, and her lips formed a wide grin.

It was obvious Anna wanted to try sitting and moving in the wheelchair that doesn’t break after using more than one hundred plus strength to move.

“Does her highness want to use this fine transportation?” Vincent asked.

“Yes!” Anna excitedly exclaimed. She moved her head and looked at Bilka with a pair of puppy eyes to lift her up.

*Sigh* After a heavy sigh, Bilka surrendered to Anna’s cuteness. She lifted Anna and stepped down from the wooden gazebo.

Green light appeared, and the wheelchair materialized directly in front of Bilka. Anna was gently placed in the wheelchair, and everyone could tell from Anna’s expression she was over the moon.

“Huh?” Questioned Anna when green light appeared on her lap and a pair of hands started to form.

Bilka became angry with Vincent after he had the gall to try funny business while his wives and even little girls were watching.

Bilka closed her fists and intended to punch Vincent before seeing a pair of gloves on Anna’s lap.

“Wear gloves because the wheels will get cold. I do not want the little girl to do what she was planning to do.” Vincent explained.

Bilka became flustered to be called out while Lucas couldn’t stop laughing at her.

“Thank you. ” Anna said while wearing the pair of gloves with an excited smile.

Anna touched the low armrest and then touched the overly perfect symmetrical wheels. “This is a well-made product. ” She praised before looking at Sakura and smiling at her.

“T-thank you.” Sakura blushed. She never expected a human she barely knew, moreover, the Princess of a human kingdom would both praise her work.

*Gulp* Anna loudly gulped, and everyone could hear her. Anna’s heart raced from excitement, and when her hands landed on the wheels, she closed her eye and tried to calm herself.

“Remember to move one wheel forward and the other back to turn around.” Vincent reminded.

Anna moved her hands as Vincent instructed, and the wheelchair began to turn. Anna’s radiant smile could almost melt the snow right now.

Bilka stopped being angry at Vincent. Her eyes were starting to wet at the view of Anna moving by herself for the first time.

Bilka was like a happy mother watching her baby take her first step.

Lucas smiled and hoped this moment could let Anna stop doubting herself because of her disability.

Lucas hoped the wheelchair could be the tool to allow her to spread her wings and become a confident princess who didn’t become concerned about her disability.

Anna held both wheels tightly and moved her hand forward. The moment the wheelchair moved forward, and Anna felt the cold wind brush on her face, the tears of joy couldn’t stop raining.

“Good job.” Sakura heard from Ester, Lupa, Iris, and Lilith, one after the other. Sakura became happy her work was being praised to this level. It inspired her to work harder.
