The phone rang once and was then hung up.
It still said, âThe number you dialed is unavailable.â
Austin couldnât help but frown.
Where on earth was his sister?
All he could do was send another message to his sister. âSister, where are you? Mom and I have
arrived. Which floor are you on? We are coming to you!â
He was frantic with worry.
H
Unfortunately, there was still no response from the other side.
Lady Gill frowned and asked, âWhatâs wrong?â
Austin let out a sigh. âThere have been no replies to m messages, and sheâs not picking up the phone
either.â
Lady Gill took a deep breath. âThen have someone take control of this entire building and check every
one of a
similar age.â
Austin immediately nodded. âOkay.â
Then, he went to give that task to his subordinates.
Lady Gill said, âIâll wait at the entrance. While youâre here, go check on Jackson.â
Austin nodded.
Lady Gill went downstairs.
Austin headed toward Jacksonâs ward. Halfway there, he turned back to look at Nara, his gaze dark
and ominous as he said, âI suddenly realize something. Jackson must have arranged for you to be an
intern on this floor, right? Well then, come over here and take good care of Jackson! Otherwiseâ¦â
Nara immediately clenched her fists, looking like she
was about to cry.
Keira stopped her, saying, âNara, you donât n to demean yourself.â
Nara tightened her jaw and waved her hands.
She had to be a doctor. After all, she had studied medicine for many years just to become a skilled
professional.
When she and her brother were accepted to
their family was too poor to afford the
tuition, so her brother gave up his chance for her.
Her brother once said that although she couldnât speak, she would definitely become a good doctor and
might even be able to develop medicine to cure herself. That way, she would be able to speak and call
him âbrotherâ.
For her brotherâs dream, Nara worked part-time and studied hard throughout the years, always ranking
first
in her class.
Now, she couldnât allow a moment of impulse to ruin
her future.
She went straight into Jacksonâs ward with a fruit tray.
Upon seeing this, Keira frowned.
She hadnât forgotten the purpose of her hospital visit, so she didnât follow Nara in, but instead, she
looked a
Austin. âShall we talk?â
Austin asked, âWhat is there to talk about?â
He looked at Keira with disdain. âThere is nothing to be said between you and me!â
Keira sighed. âMy brother didnât falsify that medical

showing azoospermia.â
Austin sneered. âAnd then what?â
Keiraâs expression grew grave as she continued. âThen yesterday, all the doctors who tested him went
abroad, for the same reason as your hospitalâs doctor, to attend an international medical conference.â
Austin was taken aback.
Keira went on. âSo there must be something going on. Austin, do you want to remain in the dark? Can
you get in touch with your doctor? Why donât we get this cleared up?â
Austin stared at Keira for a while before suddenly sneering. âDo you think Iâm going to believe you?
Keera, there is nothing we can cooperate on.â
Keira frowned. âWhat Iâm saying is trueâ¦â
âEven if it is true, what of it? Iâve told you this matter has nothing to do with my family, so I wonât help
you. The Gill family and the Olsens are sworn enemies! The two familiesâ relations have been severed
because of
you!â
After saving this, Austin sneered and turned to walk

toward Jacksonâs ward.
Keira followed behind him. âActually, the misunderstanding between us is minor, and by now, you
should understand that Maryâs child is Ellisâs. She never lived a promiscuous life before. Donât you think
you were wrong to slander her like that?â
Austin halted.
Keira detected a hint of change in him and pressed on persistently. âI know youâre not purely evil; you
just wanted to boast! You are different from Jacksonâ¦â
Austin and Jackson were indeed different.
Austin had a tough side, which was why he didnât tell the truth when Ellis beat him up in the past.
Still, he usually maintained integrity in his action and dealings.
He didnât force himself on Mary although having
boasted about it.
Jackson, however, forcefully made moves on a girl like Nara, who was barely twenty years oldâ¦
Austin found it despicable, and his pride wouldnât allow
He could be reasoned withâ¦
Austin sneered. âThereâs nothing different between him and me. You donât need to try and drive a
wedge
between us.â
âI just want to cooperate with your company for once. Our families have always had a good
relationship. Why canât we continue to do that?
âAnd besidesâ¦â
Keira hadnât finished speaking when she heard an angry roar from Jackson coming from the ward.
âHow can you be so clumsy? You canât even handle some
fruit!â
