TW: heavy language, fluff, mentions of trafficking
YONGBOK'S POV:
Yes, I feel bad, I understand that Hyunjin is trying to help me but I don't understand why he's trying to help me. Therefore, for the sake of my best friend and I, I'll find out on my on. There's more to it than a 'they think you're my boyfriend and now they're after you.' Why are they after Hyunjin in the first place. What if I'm in danger, what if I'm being held hostage.
I look over to Jisung who stood behind me, he looked a bit nervous. I reached and grabbed his hand to reassure him that everything's going to be okay, we're in this together.
I got closer a bit to hear what the conversation was about but it was still unclear. I sigh to myself, this is a huge waste of time. I turned around to Jisung who looked at me in confusion.
ð£ï¸: FELIX! FELIX! CAN YOU HEAR ME?!
I flinched at the sudden noise and so did Jisung, I forgot we had these ear-pieces.
"Yes we can hear you, stop yelling."
ð£ï¸: don't you ever fucking do this again, you hear me?
"Yea yea. I have to go, bye now."
ð£ï¸: Felix!
"We have to keep moving, I can't hear the conversation so we're just wasting time."
"You sound just like Hyunjin." Jisung started to giggle making Felix shush him and grab his arm to keep going.
We stopped in front of a crowd full of people, they all looked nervous and forced to be in this area. Although, they were all dressed in tuxedos and dresses. What was possibly going on...
"Hyunjin, what is this?" I say into my ear piece.
ð£ï¸: this was the trafficking I was trying warn you about. I was going to explain that we were going have to blend in, once they take you to the destination you will have to sneak into the red door in the far right, in the back of the ballroom.
"You hear that, Jisung?"
Jisung nodded. I could tell he was nervous, there was sweat slowly coming down from his the side of his head, he was also fidgeting with his tie. I grabbed his hand a giving him a small smile. Though, trafficking? What have I gotten myself into.
We slowly head over to the crowd of people and stood there putting on an act as if we were nervous.
Even though we were shitting our pants at this moment.
Two instructors came in announcing that we had to move to another room. As we followed the crowd into the ballroom the first thing i spotted was the red door that had a lock over it. Shit. What are we supposed to do now.
I started to look around see if there could be any possible way I could get through that door. I could simply kick through it once the instructors leave, which would be any minute now. As I looked around something caught my eye, a little boy who seemed to be around the age of three or four, sitting on the ground with his head into his knees. My heart shattered at that moment, they seriously have no heart for people huh? He's just a little boy. It seemed that he was the only kid here too. Everyone else were adults who didn't even notice him.
I couldn't help it, I'm getting him out of here. I slowly walked over to the boy and kneeled down to him with a smile. I was holding back my tears, this was so painful to see.
"G'day, I'm Felix. What's your name?" I ask him. He look up at me, I could see the dried tears on his tiny face, this broke me, the tears I held back finally broke the barrier without control.
"I no have name." He replies. He voice was so dry, sounded so tired and dehydrated. His vocabulary wasn't too well either.
ð£ï¸: Felix, what are you doing?
I ignored him. I had a feeling he was going to talk me out of it, but I didn't care about a word he said. If I was going to have to raise this child then so be it.
Jisung approached me, placing a hand on my shoulder and nodded. He understands me so well.
"Are your parents here with you?" I ask a following up question.
"No parent. I here forever."
More tears streamed out of my eyes. I'm definitely not leaving him here. He doesn't deserve this at all, these people are monsters.
"Listen, I'm going to take you with me okay? Once we get out I'll buy you so many toys, I'll get you some ice cream and we can watch silly cartoons together, how bout' it, eh?"
The small boy began to giggle and nod. I chuckled in relief and wiped my tears.
ð£ï¸: Felix, are you seriously taking him?!
"Yes, Hyunjin, and there's nothing you can fucking do to stop me, so don't even try. Just fuck off okay?"
I say angrily.
ð£ï¸: Felix, get back safely please. With or without the way to the safe.
ð£ï¸: Jisung as well!
Minho said on the other line.
I was shocked at Hyunjin's words. Was he seriously supporting this. I smile to myself and slowly pick up the child.
"You ready?" I ask tickling him a bit as he giggled and nodded.
About 15 minutes passed and the instructors finally left the room. I waited an extra 3 minutes to make sure nobody else came into the room, which they didn't. Great. Jisung and I made it to the door and I handed Jisung the child and told them to stand back.
With all my might I ran to the door, kicking it open. It made a loud noise causing everyone to look back. Without hesitation me and Jisung began to run down the hall.
"stop chasing us, will ya?! I'm fucking tired!" I yelled, I seriously can't take this shit serious, it's almost embarrassing.
I was a bit faster than Jisung so I grab the child back from him. The instructors came running through the doors, I could see they had guns in their hands so I quickly told the boy to cover his ears.
As we were running, bullets were flying from every corner. I was trying my hardest to stay conscious for the sake of the boy but it was failing, I wanted him safe more than I wanted myself safe.
ð£ï¸:Stay with my Felix, you can fight it.
For some reason that made me feel a bit more stable. Weird.
Jisung and I turned a corner and we finally lost them. I sighed trying to catch my breath and trying to calm the boy down, who was crying in my arms.
"It's okay, sweetie. It's okay. We are almost out and you'll be free and happy. I'll give you the best life you could ever ask for, I promise to spoil you as long as I walk on earth. I promise, sweetie, just calm down.
He started to wipe his tears and hold onto me.
"I love Felix."
I couldn't help but hug him back, he needed someone in his life, and I wanted to be that person.
"I love you too, sweetie. Let's go." As we carefully walked down the hallway I see a door with a few locks on it. To my intentions, I felt the sudden need to go into that room, but we had to be fast we were at the end of a long hallway and the instructors were running after us. I quickly handed the boy to Jisung who looked at me in confusion.
"Jisung, run."
"Felix?! What are you doing?!"
"JISUNG RUN NOW!"
ð£ï¸: Felix?! What are you doing?!
ð£ï¸ FELIX?
Jisung started to tear up and shake his head rapidly. I could tell his anxiety was getting to him. I quickly hugged him and gave the boy a kiss on the forehead.
"Please Jisung for my sake, keep him and yourself safe. NOW GO."
Jisung sighed and hugged me one more time before running with the boy.
"Felix! No! Felix!" I heard the boy call out to me.
ð£ï¸: FELIX! DONT DO IT! JUST GET OUT OF THERE!
"I'm sorry for being stubborn, Hyunjin." I threw the earpiece off and stepped on it so he couldn't speak to me any longer. It was an extremely dangerous risk, but I was willing to take it.
ð£ï¸: FELIX! FELIX, PLEASE, ANSWER ME!
