anticipating the cascade
as the days
pass by,
giving a quick hello
and a grand goodbye,
it seems that
nothing has stopped
the hours from cascading
to this beautiful day
we have marked to be ours.
i cannot contain
this eagerness.
i am absolutely
and entirely and utterly excited.

suits how i feel.
as plain and overused
as that word is,
it describes my state of being
quite precisely.
