Chapter 16 : Brothers?

After the whole event with fire, it's time for the evaluation.

Admiral Tarung walked to the Team A table first. He stared at the food served in front of him. Raising one of eyebrow he looked at Solar and Ice for explanation.

"Why is this food looks.. oily?" Commander Kokoci asked.

"It's made from coconut milk." Ice answered as it was the most obvious thing.

Solar facepalmed before opening his mouth, "This is Rendang, a traditional food. Made from beef and coconut milk. The coconut milk is the cause for the food to be this oily. Since coconut milk contained 33,80% fat, 6,10% protein, and 5,60% carbohydrate, you will get coconut oil if you cook them for hours without stopping."

Commander Kokoci and Admiral Tarung gazed at him before Admiral hand reached out to the spoon beside the served food.

He picked up the spoon and scooped the Rendang. He peered at the Rendang and then put it in his mouth. Immediately his figure stiffen.

Halilintar rose an eyebrow before scooping up a spoon of Rendang with another spoon and put it in his mouth. As fast as he shut his mouth, he also stiffen with his mouth gaped open.

"Admiral..?" Commander Kokoci hesitantly called.

"This..."

They all wait patiently for him to speak up and evaluationed their food. The sound of hands slammed on top of the table snapped their heads to look at Halilintar.

"Solar.. did you... did you secretly sneaked to the kitchen and cooked for your own without telling us?" Halilintar scrutinized as he stared at Solar's silver eyes hidden beneath the orange visor.

Solar felt sweats pouring down from his neck and temple as he darted his eyes around to not making eyes contact with a pair of red eyes in front of him.

"No..?"

"Unbelieveble!" Halilintar slammed his hands down again.

"Hali, what's wrong?" Gempa came to his side, worried that Hali might accidently break the table in half.

"Gempa, taste this." He said as he scooped a spoonful of Rendang in front of Gempa's mouth.

Gempa glanced at him from the corner of his eyes and opened up his mouth to take the food before his eyes widen.

"Solar, did you–"

"No!"

"Then how–"

"I calculated how much teaspoon or spoonful of seasoning and spices I had to put!"

"You what?!" Gempa and Hali gaped at him in disbelief.

"I.Cal.cu.lated." Solar gritted out.

"Ehem! The evaluation, Admiral?" Fang intervened before the argument take longer time.

"I... I never eat this kind of food before. The meat is very tender. It was also very spicy to my liking! 100% score for Team A!" Admiral Tarung announced before eating a spoonful of Rendang again and let out a satisfied hum.

"Finally! 100%!" Solar cheered.

"He really is 'I will do anything for 100% score'" Ice rolled his eyes.

The others walked to the Team B table. Their table was a mess. And on top of the table served a plate of chocolate cookies. However the dark colour seemed to not from the chocolate colour.

"Err.. what is this?" Commander Kokoci pointed to the burnt cookies in front of them.

"This is Boboiboy Chocolate Cookies! Tok Aba sell them at his Kokotiam." Blaze grinned.

They glanced at Taufan and saw the said person looked really done for his entire life.

They stared at the unrecognizeble shape of the cookies.

"Is.. is that suppose to be Boboiboy's eyes?!" Gopal screeched as he pointed to the one pair of eyes placed too close to each other.

One eye also looked bigger that the other one. Some cookies also didn't have eyes or mouth. In short, the cookies looked really creepy.

"Hmm.." Admiral Tarung stared at the cookies before picked one up and put it in his mouth.

Blaze and Taufan gulped down their nervousness. Meanwhile, the others wait for his evaluation anxiously.

"Hmm... it tastes fine." Admiral Tarung said as he nonchalantly took another cookies.

"Wait, really?!" In curious, Halilintar picked the cookie and ate it.

He immediately spat out the cookie and grab a glass of water, "Holy– How can you say that this taste fine?!"

"Oh come on! I bet it's not that bad." Blaze said as he threw one cookie to his mouth.

Just as he closed his mouth to chew the cookie, he froze. His whole figure stiff except for the change of his expression.

"Lazey?" Thorn tilted his head to the side in confusion as he waved his hand in front of Blaze's face.

His expression changed from frown to blank before changed to a look of disgusted. He grab a glass and ran to fill it up with water and quickly chugged it down.

"It's really terrible! I need something to erased the taste from my taste buds!" Blaze wildly glanced around before his eyes widened.

"We have Tok Aba's chocolate at Cafetaria!" He sprinted, leaving a trail of fire behind him.

"..." Everyone quietly stared at the door.

Taufan sighed, "So, it's 0% for our score, right?"

"Yes." Admiral Tarung answered.

Taufan sighed again, loudly.

The black haired ponytail woman sighed as she gazed at the sleeping Boboiboy.

"How is it, Aura?" Hikari asked when she entered the room.

Aura silently observed her from the corner of her eyes before spoke up.

"It's more complicated than we thought. I have never seen such complicated features for a technology." She explained with a dejected expression.

Hikari hummed as she traced Boboiboy's face before grinning madly. She gripped Boboiboy's face tightly until her knuckles turned white. Her green eyes glinted dangerously under the bright light.

"Of course! Heroes will always give us the villains surprises! Lucky for them I really like surprise." She giggled.

She turned toward Aura, "Don't feel so dejected, Rara. I'm sure you can figured it out."

Aura stared at the madwoman in front of her before smirked.

"Sheesh, I'll do my best, sis."

"Good."

"Lazey!" Thorn slammed the door to the cafetaria opened.

"Mop mop mop?!" One mop alien anxiously pat their chocking friend on the back. ("Are you okay?!")

"M–mop mop, mop mop." ("I–I'm fine, just surprised.")

Taufan squinted his eyes as he looked around the cafetaria, searching for their third member.

"Lazey?" Thorn asked as he lifted one of the cafetaria table with mop aliens on top of it to look under the table. Taufan gaped at him in shocked.

"Where's Lazey? Thorn want us to eat together..." Tears almost fell from Thorn's green eyes when he looked down to the ground in sadness.

Taufan sputtered in panic, trying to reassured their most innocent member with something he could come up with.

"A-ah.. he umm..  he must be busy somewhere.. haha.." Taufan laughed forcefully.

However, Taufan seemed to made a mistake as Thorn suddenly look even more sad. Taufan even swore he could saw Thorn's puppy ears dropped flat on his head.

"Ack! Thorn, don't cry, please."

"Hey! You guys block the entrance!" Halilintar crossed his arms from behind them.

"H–Hali! Help us find Blaze, please!" Taufan pleaded him.

Halilintar gazed at him weirdly, "No–"

Thorn sniffles and Halilintar fought back a flinch. He reconsidered his decision for awhile before finally giving up.

"Okay, fine! Let's search him."

Taufan let out a relief exhale while Thorn's expression brightened.

"Here you guys are! I was looking for you guys everywhere!" Blaze yelled from behind them.

"Lazey!" Thorn cried out as he hugged Blaze side.

"Gee, where were you? Didn't you come to the cafetaria for Tok Aba's chocolate drink?" Taufan huffed.

Blaze scratched his cheek while grinning, "I kinda... lost?"

"...you lost?"

"Err.. yes...?"

Taufan stared at him before gaped in disbelief, "We've been here for days!"

"Hey! Not my fault they have so many hallways, turns, and doors!" Blaze argued.

"You always said that you want to take a stroll around the station!" Taufan argued back.

"..."

"...Don't tell me you never memorize the turns and the hallways."

"..."

"What are you guys doing huddle up in front of the cafetaria entrance like mothers gossiping about their kids?" Solar suddenly appeared and asked them. Gempa and Ice also behind him, looking at them in confusion.

"It's nothing." They answer simultaneously.

"Uwahh! I'm really tired." Solar flopped down on his bed. He nuzzled his face to the pillow after he took off his visor.

"Agh finally. A rest after a stressful day." Halilintar said as he stretched his body, letting out a hum at the satisifying crack.

Taufan peered at him from his bed under Solar's, "You didn't even do anything today."

"Seeing you guys making a fuss everyday is stressing enough." Halilintar said with a flat look.

"I'm not making any fuss!"

"I'm nOt mAkInG aNy fUsS."

"Hali!" Taufan whined at him while Halilintar only smirked.

Gempa shook his head tiredly at their antics. He took off his hat before staring at it and recalled his memory of the person who turned them this way.

FLASHBACK~

"Does that mean you guys are brothers?" Boboiboy asked them.

The elementals became silent as they glanced at each other with confusion written on their faces.

"How can that make us as.. brothers...?" Solar questioned.

Boboiboy frowned at Solar's question.

"You guys.. are not brothers?"

"No, we have never considered each other as brothers." Gempa murmured, but the others heard him very clear.

"What make you think that?" Taufan chimed in.

Now, it's Boboiboy turned to became silent. He didn't mean to jump into conclusion. He felt really embarassed.

"Well.." He scratched his nape and darted his eyes to the side.

"Actually, it was just crossed in my mind. You guys seem like brothers. I saw how you guys cared and teased each other like siblings. You even fought with each other at a silly argument. Kinda remind me of a sibling relationship that I never had..." His voice lowered to a whisper at the end of his sentence. The elementals heard it and their expression shakened.

"So, I thought you guys are brothers. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to jumped into conclusion without enough evidences."

"Ah! No need to apologies!" Gempa yelped.

After that, it was really an awkward silence after Boboiboy explained his reasoned. Blaze fidgeted in his spot at the uncomfortable silent.

He nudged Thorn's side who was beside him. Thorn blinked at him before an idea struck him.

"If you want us to become brothers, then we'll do it!" Thorn chirped.

The seven immediately turned their heads fast enough to get a whiplash. They gaped at him in surprised, not expecting him to said something like that words weight nothing.

"W-well, becoming brothers seem okay for me." Solar coughed as he looked to the other side. Everyone saw how his ears turned red in embarassment.

Boboiboy flapped his hands around in panic, "W-wait! You guys didn't need to–"

"I agree, maybe we could try it." Ice added.

"Wait–"

"Seems fun!" Taufan grinned at Blaze and Thorn and the two nodded their head eagerly.

"Guys–"

"I don't mind as long as they don't bother me everyday." Halilintar shrugged.

"Then, this is an agreement!" Gempa clapped his hands before looking at Boboiboy in excitement.

"Aghhh!" Boboiboy covered his red face with his hands. The elementals laughed, some smiles and chuckled at his red face.

Blaze and Taufan teased him before getting an ear pinch from Gempa for teasing Boboiboy until the said person looked like a tomato. They really had fun that time.

FLASHBACK END~

"Tomorrow is the last test." Gempa stated.

The others got silent at his statement. The room felt cold as their faces turned serious. All traces of jokes and joy left their faces.

"Once we pass, we can save him." Ice added.

"Therefore, we must do our best tomorrow." Solar stared into the endless space from their room window.

Narusyan : Since Al didn't have any assignment cause she already did all the works like a nerd she is–

Me : No, I'm not!

Narusyan : She felt bored and decided to write the next chapter as fast as she can for being absent for almost 3 weeks.

Me : Ruru! *whine*

Kuro : My, my~ Who do you think is it?~ (~¬‿¬)~

Narusyan, goes to open the door : Shut up! *blushes*

Me : Well, I just wanna say take care, rest well and don't force yourself to do your assignments!

Kuro : Wear mask whenever you go out since the situation is getting worse.
