Chapter 17 : Preparation of The Last Test!

"Gempa.."

Gempa gasped and glanced around to search the source of the voice. He felt his breath became uneven in the dark void where he was currently at.

Gempa froze when he felt a hand grab his shoulder from behind. He couldn't move a single muscle and only stared ahead full of fear.

"When are you going to save me?" Familiar voice said with sadness.

Gempa's breath hitched at the familiar voice of his owner.

"You guys are such a failure." A huffed.

"Useless."

"We're not!" Gempa shouted.

"...Oh really? You guys failed to protect me from them. That make you guys as useless, right?"

"No, we're not.." He rasped out.

"I can't believe you guys are the famous ancient elementals. Useless beings."

The last thing Gempa saw before fell into the darkness was a grin and.. someone tears dropping to his face.

Gempa snapped his eyes opened. He stayed there, laying on his bed and blankly stared at the ceiling. He turned to his side to checked the time.

'11.27' He thought.

He looked up to stared at the ceiling again and realized that his sight was a little bit blury. He reached and felt something wet between his fingers.

"Ahh.."

They were tears. He's been crying. Since when?

"Gempa?" Solar slurred as he rubbed his eyes.

"Yes, Solar?"

"Why are still awake?"

"Ahh, don't worry, Solar. It's just a random wake up time in the middle of the night. Go back to sleep. Tomorrow will be a hard day." Gempa turned to his side so his back was facing Solar.

"..Okay. G'night, Gempa."

"Good night, Solar."

"At least I'm not scared of ballons, Mr. I-don't-have-Globophobia."

"And I at least didn't destroy the TAPOPS Station twice."

They all watched as Hali and Solar argued back and forth at the written test while the others tried to stopped them or trying not to get themselves involved.

Maskmana watched the screen intently, "This is the famous ancient elementals power that Boboiboy posessed, right?"

"Yes, they are." Admiral Tarung answered.

"So, you said that they invaded your station to get informations about The Destroyer of Star?" One of the higher ups mused.

"Yes."

"How interesting~" She smiled as she straightened herself.

Maskmana leaned back to his chair before looking at Admiral Tarung's hologram.

"What are you planning to do with them?"

Admiral Tarung went silent at Maskmana question as the others wait patienly for his answer.

"We will try to make them as our ally to stop The Destroyer of Star."

"How can you be so sure that they won't betrayed us?" Someone spoke up.

Maskmana turned to the owner of the voice, "Admiral Amato is right. They could be planning something from behind our back without us knowing."

"I highly doubt that." Ramenman laughed.

Amato rose his eyebrow in questioned, "Why is that?"

"If they really loathed us that much, they would have already destroy our stations back then. Do you think the elementals power Boboiboy has been showed to us are really their true power?"

Everyone's expression turned stiff. Ramenman's assumption was true, they could destroy their stations with the snap of their fingers if they want to. But, why they didn't do that? They have nothing to cherished so much in this station, except...

"No one put tight leashes on their neck, except themselves. They held back because of a certain boy working in one of our stations and now are being kidnapped by those deadly villains." She, Admiral Agura, narrowed her reptiles like eyes while laughing loudly.

Admiral Tarung's shoulder tensed, "They did say their goal is only to save Boboiboy and nothing else."

"Really? Then why would they invaded our station when they can just ask for our cooperation?" Admiral Agura leaned forward in curiousity.

"...They don't trust us."

"Huh?" They all chorused at the same time.

"But, why?" Admiral Amato questioned.

Rather than asnwering, a video file appeared in front of them. Maskmana waste no time to open the file.

The screen turned on, showing the seven elementals and the TAPOPS agents in the control room.

"This..."

"This is after we found that it was them who invaded our station." Admiral Tarung explained lightly.

"May we ask why?"

"We can't be sure that you won't use us for your own selfish benefit. We can save him by ourselves alone." Ice cold baby blue eyes stared right through Commander Kokoci eyes.

"That's their reason? Pretty clever in my opinion." Maskmana admitted.

"Which elements he is?" Admiral Amato asked.

"He's Ice, second tier of water element. His personality trait is calmness." Captain Kaizo finally spoke up after his silence since the start of the meeting.

"Nee~ What's this? Shouldn't you introduced them first to us before we started this meeting?" Pouted Admiral Agura.

"I agree with Admiral Agura." Another higher ups, Admiral Gata, affirmed. Admiral Agura looked up to him with sparkled eyes which he ignored.

Admiral Tarung sighed, "The problem is we don't have any clear informations about them. Their background or where they came from are not written in any files or documents."

"However, we knew their each names and the powers they hold as the basic informations." Admiral Tarung continued.

The video file dissapeared and a new one appeared in front of them. The first to be introduced is a certain most innocent elementals with wide smile plastered on his face.

"Thorn, second tier of nature element. His personality trait is Boboiboy's innocence. From what we observed, he seems close to Blaze and Taufan since they three always found hang out together in the cafetaria."

"Aw~ He's cute."

Now, photos of Blaze appeared on the screen.

"Blaze, second tier of fire element. His personality seems playful and is very reckless. He first time appeared to Boboiboy's pent up stress at Ujian Kental TAPOPS on Planet Volcania and caused the volcanio to be unstable and finally erupted."

"Halilintar, second tier of lightning element. His trait come from Boboiboy's anger."

A picture of Halilintar with his red attire was shown. He's also holding Pedang Halilintar in both hands.

"Ahh.. he must be that cool type guy." Admiral Agura nodded her head once she saw Halilintar picture.

"Solar, second tier of light element. He is the strongest of the seven elemental since he defeated Captain Vargoba and Borara with one attack. He appeared when Captain Vargoba attacked TAPOPS station. He also inherit Boboiboy's inteligent."

"Ooo~ Let me guess! He and Halilintar must be a rival!"

"..Yes."

"Wait, what are they fighting for?" Admiral Amato asked.

"Popularity." Captain Kaizo and Admiral Tarung calmly answered.

"...Ridiculous!" Admiral Gata snorted

"Taufan, second tier of wind element. He inherit Boboiboy's cheerfulness."

"He looks like a playboy." Admiral Agura commented.

Everyone ignored her comment and wait for Admiral Tarung last introduction.

"Lastly, Gempa, second tier of earth element. He's the leader as he always managed to calm the others. We don't know what's he inherit from Boboiboy's personality since there's no difference with Boboiboy."

"So, he's the leader..." Maskmana muttered.

"But, why does he look like a mom?" Admiral Agura pointed out.

"Okay! Let's end the introduction here!" Ramenman clapped his hands, ignoring Admiral Agura gasped.

"Have you decided where their next test will be?" Ramenman asked.

"Yes, it will be..."

"Where do you guys think our final test will take place?" Taufan asked as he shoved a spoonful of cereal in his mouth.

"Taufan, don't talk when you're eating." Gempa scolded him.

Solar hummed, "There's high chance that it would be at a dangerous planet like Planet Volcania."

"I hope it would be at Planet Volcania so I can meet with my friend there!" Blaze said excitedly with his mouth full of rice as he was also get reprimanded by Gempa.

"You mean Rocktaroka?" Thorn perked up and Blaze nodded eagerly.

Ice looked at Blaze with fear in his eyes, "No. I hope it will be a cold place."

"Hey!"

"Don't fight when you're eating!" Gempa scolded as he pinched Blaze's ear really hard.

"Ow! Ow! I'm sorry Gempa!" Blaze cried out.

"I don't care as long as we can pass the test as soon as possible." Halilintar said as he sipped his coffee.

"The elementals are expected to come to the control room! I repeat, the elementals are expected to come to the control room for the last test!"

Halilintar sipped his coffee for the last time before standing up, followed by the others, "Well, that's our cue."
