Chapter 19 : Splitting Up!

Ice panted as he ran and dodged another trees while trying not to look behind him. He didn't know where he is or which direction he was heading to. One thing for sure, he want to stay away from that little girl.

He finally reached an open area and decided to looked back. Nothing. The little girl was nowhere behind him, neither his other brothers. He halted and bent his knees, trying to catch his breath.

"Finally..." He sighed as he put on his hoodie. He really hoped the little girl didn't chased him and chased his other brothers, instead.

When his breath finally became even, he started to looked around. The moon light illuminated his surrounding so it's easier to see his surrounding without the help of Blaze's flame.

As he tried to check his location, he found out that there's no signal. He must have ran really far into the forest. He grumbled.

"This is why I really hate forest.." He carefully took steps forward because of his surrounding, when his step accidently made a creaking sound.

He looked down in surprised only to found the same surface of ground in general. But, once he tried to press his sole harder, the creaking sound entered his ear again.

He kneeled down and feel the ground beneath him. After he confirmed his suspicion, Ice searched the way to enter the trap door.

Eventually, his patience ran out when he didn't found it. Ice stood up while looking down at the trap door with his cold baby blue eye and pressed his feet harder until chunks of ice shot up from the trap door.

The trap door crumbled into pieces and Ice peeked his head to look down. It was really dark down there, he assumed the depth was at least 60 feets or equal to 1.800 cm.

Normal human could at least broke their bones if they jump from this height. Fortunately, he's an elemental who had a human body because of his owner. And so, Ice made up his mind and jumped down.

"Admiral.. we lost contact of them." Fang whispered as they all stared at the static screen in front of them.

Planet Umbra, he heard that planet before. Every aliens knew and talked about that planet everytime new news spread from the planet. The planet which was really famous back then before the incident years ago.

No one know, who attacked Planet Umbra that time. The most absurd of all is there's no single survivor escaped from the incident. Every aliens who resided there died from explosion, murder, fire or even worse.

In Fang opinion, it didn't make sense at all. He understood if some aliens want to take revenge from the bad treatment they received at Planet Umbra. But, how come no one survived from the incident?

Fang had his own speculation. But, when they received an unknown power sphere signal from there, his speculation came crumbling down. Another unsolved mystery came. The power sphere was not registrated in any power sphere names list.

And when they sent their agents to investigated further, they had claimed about an unknown creature guarded that planet and didn't found any power sphere. However, he never thought that the unknown creature would be a ghost. A ghost of a little girl.

They all stared horrified when the elementals found out that little girl was holding to Blaze's hand since the start of the test. Gopal even shrieked loudly before hiding in the corner.

Even Gopal was still trembling in the corner while Ying and Yaya typed something on the computers as they tried to connect their hidden camera.

"Commander! It seems the camera lost connection because its travelled to far into the forest!" Ying exclaimed.

Ochobot frowned as he stared at the screen full of worry.

"Hmm, what are we gonna do, Admiral?" Asked Commander Kokoci, concerned for the elementals.

Admiral Tarung gazed at the screen before looking down. His fists clenched tightly behind him.

"We can't help them since they must pass this test on their own without any help." Then Admiral Tarung added with a glint of determination on his face, "They can do it themselves. I know."

"Man.. where are we?" Blaze glanced  at the unfamiliar environtment around him.

Taufan hummed beside him before he flew higher using his hoverboard until he reached above the forest. He squinted his eyes when he only found trees around them, no open area or the place they were teleported to this planet.

He flew down while shrugging his shoulders, "I think we're lost."

Blaze rolled his eyes at him, "Well duh."

They continued to walk in silence, or in Taufan's case, he was sitting on his hoverboard with Blaze's flame became the source of their light.

"Thorn, why are you so quie– Thorn?!" Blaze turned around to look at their most innocent member only to find him missing.

Taufan also turned behind him before his complexion turned pale.

"Oh no.. We will faced mommy Gempa's wrath once we're back..."

"We're doomed!" Blaze fell to his knees, already picturing Gempa cracking his knuckle and those painful ear pinch.

"Lazey! Ufan! Where are you?!" Thorn shouted.

He accidently split himself from Blaze and Taufan when they were running. Now, Thorn found himself in an unfamiliar surrounding all alone, withouth his other brothers.

His green eyes became teary as he observed his surrounding. When suddenly, Thorn heard a sound of branch snapped in half. He immediately became alerted and called upon his thorny vines. His eyes never left the source of where the sound came from.

His sharp ears caught a movement from behind those trees. Green eyes stayed in the endless darkness between the trees, stance ready for a fight like what's Hali taught him, unwavering.

A little girl came out while stumbling on her steps. Her shaky eyes looked around before her eyes landed on Thorn's figure. She perked up before running at him, arms wide open while similing widely.

"Brother!"

"...Ehhh?!" Thorn shrieked with shocked expression when the litte girl tackled him into a hug.

She nuzzled her face on Thorn's stomach while the said 'brother' had a mental panic attack. Thorn never met this little girl before. He only had brothers and not sister.

Now, Thorn had a complicated thought. Whether to hug this mysterious little girl back or released himself from the hug. He thought for a moment, pondering over his decision.

He imagined if Boboiboy is in a position like this, what would he do? After silently pondered for a moment, he felt the girl whimpered and started to sniffled on his black and green jacket. In panic, he quickly warped his arms around the little girl.

She giggled happily before nuzzling her face further into the soft fabric. Her mouth, full of maggots and dried black blood, opened. Thorn didn't see the little girl's expression since he couldn't see her face, and if he could, he would think it's his imagination.

"Older brother.. let's play..."

Golden eyes and red eyes immediately looked around once they came out from the forest. Halilintar fixed Solar's position on his back before stepping forward with harsh breath.

Gempa glanced at the forest behind him, before observing suspiciously at the burnt village in front of them. He didn't see any signs of life around them which caused him to be wary.

When Gempa took one step forward, they saw movement from one of the house. A blur of black suddenly went passed from one house to other houses.

Gempa quickly covered his hands with his earth gloved while Hali called one of his Pedang Halilintar. Spark of red electricity dance around him, careful not to hurt Solar who was perched on his back.

They slowly walked, cautiously looked around their surrounding for any movement other than them. The atmosphere was really eerie and silent for them.

Someone silently watched them from one of the house like predator watching its prey. His steps light, not producing any sound despite the weathered wood floor as he tried to get closer to the two elementals with two daggers tight in his grip.

Gempa turned to a nearby house when he caught something moving in the house. All of a sudden, gust of wind  blew his jacket. Even though the movement was really faint, Gempa could feel it and he quickly moved by instinct.

A dagger embedded to his previous spot. If he was a few miliseconds late, that dagger would have pierced right through his forehead.

Honestly, he wasn't worried about death coming for him since he only borrowed this body from his owner. However if he died, he will have to return at least 500 hundred years later and losing his pyshical body.

No, he won't risk getting stabbed to death by a mere dagger and then couldn't save their owner.

Gempa glared ferociously to the direction, he believed, where the dagger came from.

"Gempa! Are you hurt?!" Halilintar came from behind him while checking for any sign of injuries on his body.

He also saw the dagger that was directed to Gempa's forehead. The speed was no joke, almost on par with him and Solar.

If they are only normal people, they wouldn't see the dagger with naked eyes even if they are trained people.

"...I'm fine, Hali. I was lucky to dodge the dagger directed to me in time." Gempa assured him with his signature warm smile before looking around them. He was indeed very lucky.

Halilintar exhaled slowly from his mouth, tensed shoulders relaxed and also looked around with his sharp red eyes.

Only silence greeted them. The wind speed back to normal, no suspicious movement or sound. This only caused them to be wary with their surrounding even more.

He clicked his tongue in annoyance as he watched them from far. He prepared another daggers and threw them skillfuly. It's futile to threw the dagger secretly since the two intruders already found out anyway.

This time, two daggers sent to them, faster than before. Halilintar quickly grab the dagger embedded on the ground to deflected the other daggers.

He was too focused with the daggers in front of him that he didn't notice another upcoming three daggers. Before the daggers could stab him, an earth gloved hand caught the daggers in mid air and crushed them.

Halilintar sent Gempa a nodded of gratitude which Gempa only responded with a glare to the direction where the daggers came from while opening his palm, letting the destroyed daggers fell to the ground.

"Whoever you are, come out! We don't have any intend to harm you or anyone!" He demanded.

"But if you hurt us, we won't hesitate to kill you first!" Halilintar bluntly added for good measure.

Gempa smacked his head, the sound echoed loudly in the area. Halilintar yelped.

"Hey! What was that for?!" He whispered shout at Gempa while rubbing his head to ease the pain.

Gempa's eyebrow twitched. Before he could scold Halilintar, they heard light footsteps walked up to them. They quickly straightened themselves, legs spread and bent into a fighting stance.

Someone appeared from one of the house beside them. From the pysical body shape, they could guess the person was a boy, a little taller than them.

They couldn't see his face due to the mask covering his lower face and the cloak hoodie covering his upper face so only his shining blue eyes were visible.

The boy cautiously walked up to them as if checking if it was really safe. Gempa sent him a reassured smile.

"Don't worry, we're not gonna hurt you."

Halilintar scoffed in disbelief behind him. He looked to the daggers laying innocently on the ground to prove his point which Gempa ignored.

"Who are you intruders?! Are you one of them?" The boy spat out the last word venomously.

"You see, we don't know who are you talking about since we're here for a mission." Gempa answered.

"...A mission?" The boy asked incredulously.

Halilintar only sneered at him from behind.

"So.. you're not them...?"

At the question that the answer is probably very obvious, Halilintar's thin thread of patience snap.

"Were you not listening?! He was clearly said that we're not gonna hurt you and we are here currently for a mission! We don't have a single clue of who the hell this people you keep mentioning!"

Gempa grab both of his shoulders to calmed him down while the boy visibly looked taken aback by Halilintar sudden outburst.

Halilintar panted loudly before taking a deep breathe and straightened himself. He fixed Solar's position on his back, red eyes stared straight to the boy's blue eyes, different shade from Taufan's and Ice's.

The boy seemed to be blinking for a moment before he regained his composure.

"Follow me."

Shiro : Finally, we're getting vaccinated!o(≧ں≦)o

Narusyan : *shudders* I hope I won't turn into a titan..

Me : Gee, it's just a fake news..

Shiro : And it won't hurt UwU

Narusyan : I DON'T CARE! If it's hurt then I'm not getting vaccinated today!

Kuro : Shut up, you're overreacting. Our province is currently on red zone so the government requested us to get vaccinated as soon as possible to decreased the death number.

Me : However... *looking at the number in her hand* 2.604.. isn't this take to much time?! We can't stay here until evening!

Narusyan : What are you talking about?! It's good if we have to wait until evening so I will have time to prepare mentally⊂（゜Д゜⊂

Me : There's nothing to be pre–

??? : Excuse me? Is this seat already occupied?

Me : Huh? O-oh, no, you can– Mommy Gem?!

Gempa : Ahh, it's a relief that we can meet someone we recognise in this crowdy place(●⁀‿⁀●)

Halilintar : No wonder they're so loud.

Narusyan : Hey!

Gempa : *smacks Halilintar from behind* It's good that you guys are here since we need a little help.. (;^_^A)

Us four : Help..?

Halilintar : *grumbling before pointing towards one particular noisy crowd*

Solar : No! I'm not gonna get any vaccine if they don't let me know what substances they injected to my body! *holding onto the doorframe while getting pulled*

Taufan : Come on, Solar! The government already confirmed that it's safe for us all *tries to pull Solar*

Thorn : But Lazey said it will turn us into a zombie..( ⁰д⁰)

Blaze : Gopal told me¯\_( ツ )_/¯

Ice : *sighs* Don't look at me, they're not my brothers..

Solar : Agghhhhh!

Gempa : Well..?(;^_^A
