One-shot : We Don't Talk About Retak'ka!

"Yo! The mighty Blaze is here!" The cafetaria door slammed open again and Blaze stood on the entrance while grinning with Solar behind him, holding a book.

Not much change, only several aliens were surprised and mostly not. Blaze pouted at the lack of reactions he usually got.

"Hey, this is no fun." Blaze walked in to the cafetaria and search for an empty seat.

Solar rolled his eyes at him, "Stop doing that, Blaze, because one day the infirmary will be full with aliens choking on their lunch."

Blaze only huffed at him and found empty seat beside the Kokotaim Gang. He strodded over to them followed by Solar, greatly surprising them.

Blaze grinned at them, "Heyy, dudes!"

"Hey, Blaze." Yaya greeted him back with her polite smile.

"What's wrong? Do you guys need anything?" Ying asked them while furrowing her eyebrows worriedly.

Blaze then took a seat beside Fang, still grinning, "Nah! Just taking the seat here since there's no other empty seat."

Solar followed suit and sat beside Yaya acrossed from Blaze. The pink hijab girl also greeted him which Solar answered back with his signature matured look smile.

"What are you reading, Solar?" Ying asked him from Yaya's other side as she took notice the book the light elemental was holding.

Yaya glanced at the book title in surprise, "Oh, Solar. I didn't know you love biology!"

Solar chuckled, "Well, I think I got this hobby from Boboiboy since he like science and always read biology book whenever he had time. This book is his, I found it in his and Gopal's room."

"But, he's really bad at math." Gopal sighed.

Fang rolled his eyes at him, "Don't talk like you're not the same. You literally got negative scores, how's that even possible?!."

Gopal turned to him, "Dey! It's because I can't do math that I criticized my bestfriend."

Yaya sighed, "Haish, Gopal.."

"By the way, where are the others? You're not with them? Especially you, Blaze." Fang asked while eating his favourite carrot donut.

Blaze shrugged, "Gempa went meeting with the other higher ups, discussing our next move about the group and I don't know for Hali and that polar bear. Taufan and Thorn are in the green house. You know that I've been banned from going there after the last incident I accidently burn Thorn's plant. "

Gopal sipped his Tok Aba's chocolate drink while looking at him, "Can't you control your fire a little, so you won't accidently burn anything?"

"Aish, Gopal. My fire is wild and it'll only be satisfied if its burn anything down for at least once in a day. If not, then I will get frustated and accidently burn anything in my way." Blaze grumbled.

On cue, Thorn and Taufan walked in hand in hand which they swung front amd back. They both wore a happy smile as they caught sight of Blaze and Solar in one of the cafetaria's table.

"Lazey!" Thorn waved at him before flopping down beside Solar who's currently reading.

Taufan also flopped down beside Blaze who only stared at the with bored look as he supported his chin, "Soo, are you guys done watering the plants?"

"Yes, we're done." Taufan chuckled at Blaze's sulking figure beside him.

He looked like puppy rather than a ferocious lion sometimes. Couldn't help it, Taufan pinched Blaze's chubby cheek, making the fire elemental to yelped in surprise and hissed.

"Stoopp!" He swated Taufan's hand away while rubbing his cheek, glaring as the wind elemental only laughed at him.

Taufan giggled, "Sorry not sorry, Laze."

Thorn watched those two from across before pinching his own cheek, making this ÙwÚ expression while closing his eyes. Solar chuckled before concentrating to read the book back.

"Quiet down, will you? I'm sleepy..." A new familiar voice suddenly chimed in from beside Gopal.

The others in the table were really surprised, Gopal shrieked and his flailing hands accidently hit Fang. Fang, who was eating his last piece of carrot donut, dropped his carrot donut in shock. Yaya and Ying jumped on their seat in shock while Solar quickly catched Thorn who stumbled on his seat and almost fall backward.

Blaze yelped and Taufan screeched, "Wait, Blaze–"

Taufan and Blaze fell down from their seat because Blaze leaned back to much on his seat, bringing Taufan along when his hand search for balanced and instead it pulled Taufan with him.

"Icey, you surprised Thorn!" Thorn yelped at him while placing his palm on his little heart.

The culprit only shrugged at him before he yawned, bringing his whale plushie closer to him. He put down the whale plushie on the table and put his head on top of it.

"Gopal! I accidently dropped my last carrot donut because of you!" Fang scowled.

"It's not my fault! You're eating it too slow!"

"Ishh! Why you!"

Ying, "Haiya! You guys stop it! Don't make a fuss because of something silly!"

Yaya, "That's right. Gopal, apologize to Fang and Fang, I saw one last carrot donut on the cafetaria counter earlier. I believe it's still there since it's almost rare for another aliens to like carrot donut as much as you."

Fang huffed before standing up and stomping to the counter. Taufan and Blaze stood up, dusting themselves because of the fall.

Blaze gave a sharp look at Ice, "This polar bear really like to surprise people, huh?"

"No.. you just didn't hear my quiet step and presence..." Ice's voice was muffled by the plushie.

"He's saying the truth." Halilintar appeared holding a mug of coffee from behind Taufan.

Taufan turned around so fast and said breathlessly while placing his hands to his chest, "Hali.. you're gonna give poor me a heart attack one day."

Halilintar rolled his eyes at him before taking a seat at the end of the sit, beside Taufan. He sipped his coffee which Taufan scrunched his nose at.

"Ew, you always drink that tasteless black liquid everyday, Hali. That's unhealthy." Taufan frowned at him.

Halilintar grunted, "Well, this is dark coffee. What do you expect from dark coffee, Airhead?"

Taufan joked, "I expect it as dark as your heart?"

Halilintar snorted, "More like as dark as Retak'ka's soul."

Fang came with another carrot donut in his hand. When he reached closer, he accidently heard what those two talking about and his face morphed to a surprise expression.

"I never heard you guys talk about Retak'ka before." Fang sat down on his previous seat, noting that the ice elemental was currently sleeping beside Gopal.

"We really don't talk about him. It's kind of like an unspoken agreement between us." Taufan shrugged.

Fang frowned at that, "Is it really that bad? I mean I know what he did in the past were really vicious, but some are exaggerated or fake news."

Solar looked at him in confusion, "What do you mean by fake?"

"...It's better if you don't hear it."

Solar still stared at him, silver eyes furrowed in hesitation and curiousity before accepting it and continued to read his science book.

"No, wait! I'm curious! Tell me, tell me!" Taufan gazed at Fang, wide blue caribbean eyes stared at him pleadingly.

"Yeah! Can't just leave us in the dark, you know!" Blaze slammed his hands down to the table, almost making their drinks topple over and spill to the table.

Halilintar frowned when a little bit of his coffee spilled on the table. He reached for the tissue beside his food tray and wiped it clean while glaring at Blaze in displease.

Fang stared at the two curious elemental in uncertainty. And when he looked to another direction, he found out that his gaze was met with a pair of green eyes that also looked up at him pleadingly.

And so he could only sighed in resignation, "..It was told that Retak'ka was forced to do those evil deeds because you guys made him insane or controlled him."

The table instantly turned quiet with the elementals stared at him in disbelief. Ice instantly sat awake on his seat, baby blue eyes stared forward unblinking. Solar slowly reached for his visor to fix it position that previously was loopside at the shock he felt.

"What the heck.." Halilintar muttered behind his hand that covered his face.

"Who dare to spread rumours like that?!" Blaze punched his fists together in fury.

Solar suddenly stood up, shocking everyone present at the table, "I'm gonna search for that person who spread around the fake rumour."

But he was stopped by Ying who stood in front of him while she spread her arms open, "Wait, Solar! It's just a fake rumour and mostly no one believe that rumour!"

Taufan suddenly grabbed Fang's collar, "Do you believe it?!"

Fang gawked at him, "Wha– Of course not!"

"That's good. Last question, did you believe it?!"

"Still no! We have informations about Retak'ka although it's not much, but we believe that he was an evil being not being mad because of a mere power."

"Good, good! Now, you said that you were wondering about everything he did while using us, right?!" Taufan leaned his face closer to Fang, causing the shadow elemental to leaned back to put as much as distance between them.

"Err... yes..?"

"You better listen carefully to our words because we only tell you this once." Taufan winked at him as a piano started, making the whole cafetaria turned silent as a light only shone down at their table before a certain thunder elemental interupted them.

Halilintar pushed them apart with too much force while glaring sharply at Taufan and sang, "We don't talk about that wrinkled old man." (We don't talk about Bruno, no, no, no.)

Before looking at Fang with the same look as he stared at Fang's dumbfounded stare, "We don't talk about that jerk." (We don't talk about Bruno)

Halilintar eventually turned away from him and gripped Taufan's shoulder tightly, causing the wind elemental to yelped at the forced before grasping Halilintar's arms in attempt to lessen the pain.

"But!" Halilintar snapped his neck so fast to Fang, causing the latter to flinched, "It was my happiest day." (It was my wedding day.)

Taufan chimed in at Fang, remembering the day he spent with Kuputeri, "Also my happiest day!" (It was our wedding day.)

"We were getting ready and there wasn't a cloud in the sky." Halilintar continued while spreading his hands to the cafetaria ceiling also remembering the day he was going to spend training with Satriantar.

"No clouds aloud in the sky!" Taufan chimed in again, reminiscing about the time he and Kuputeri flew through the bright blue sky looking over the villages.

"That jerk walked in with a mischievous grin." Halilintar scowled darkly as he remembered the time Retak'ka came to them, announcing that he'll become the most feared legendary seven elemental user. (Bruno walked in with a mischievous grin.)

"Thunder!" Taufan suddenly screamed while banging the table to make the thunder sound effect, causing some of them to yelled in shock.

Halilintar, getting tired of his interference every once in a while, started to walk away, "You're telling this story or am I?!"

Taufan laughed nervously as he chased after him and made a show of bowing like a gentleman to coax him, "I'm sorry, dear Hali. Go on." (I'm sorry, mi vida. Go on.)

"That jerk said we're all powerful." Halilintar continued despite still glaring at Taufan. (Bruno said it's look like rain.)

"If we're within his grasp!" Taufan dramatically show them his palm before closing it aggresively in front of their faces. (Why did he tell us?)

"In doing so, he flood my brain." Halilintar huffed before a big wave of water was poured down on his head, courtesy of Ice.

"Let me get the umbrella!" Taufan opened up the umbrella even though it's too late and Halilintar was already drenched with water. (Abuella, get the umbrella.)

Halilintar gritted his teeth at Ice's not guilty face as thunders appeared from outside their station despite the bright day, "Fight under the storming sky." (Married in a hurricane.)

"What a joyous day, but anyway!" Even though it was a sarcasm, Taufan still grinned at them before he threw the umbrella somewhere behind him and hitting someone with it accidently.

"We don't talk about that wrinkled old man!" Those two sang together as they walked closer the Kokotaim Gang's table in a threatening manner. (We don't talk about Bruno, no, no, no.)

"We don't talk about that jerk!" Playfully, Taufan spun Fang and Gopal around with his wind. (We don't talk about Bruno.)

"Woahuhu!" Gopal cried out in surprise while Fang quickly grabbed the nearest table to stop him from accidently hitting the spectators not far from their table.

An ice hand gripped his shoulder, successfuly stopping Gopal from spinning around any longer. Gopal opened up his eyes in relief, before his eyes met with a pair of calm baby blue eyes.

"Hey, grew to live in fear of that old man sole existence." Ice whispered softly at him that it's kinda gave you a ghost story vibe. (Hey! Grew to live in fear of Bruno stuttering or stumbling.)

"I could always hear his evil plans whispering in his mind." He waved his ice hand to his head with his face distorted like a crazy psycopath, making Gopal shivered in fear. (I could always hear him sort of muttering and mumbling.)

"I associate it with the sound of falling sand. Ch, ch, ch." Then, he imitated the sound of falling sand behind his index finger which he put in front of his mouth smoothly while looking around warily. (I associate him with the sound of falling sand. Ch, ch, ch.)

Ice continued while sighing mournfuly, "It's a heavy lift, with a gift so humbling."

"Always left our previous owner restless and fumbling." He clicked his tongue as he remembered because of Retak'ka, him and Mas Mawais couldn't have a relaxing time. (Always left Abuela and the family fumbling.)

"Grappling with prophecies they couldn't understand." Ice lazily made a gesture when shaman was doing a fortune telling as if mocking it while walking closer to Gopal.

"Do you understand?" Ice stared down to Gopal, making his baby blue eyes shone coldly with cold mist surrounding them.

All of a sudden, Blaze appeared behind the girls, making the girls gasped in surprised with his hands raised high above his head as if trying to scare them, "A seven-foot frame with noseless appearance." (A seven-foot frame, rats along his back.)

"When he calls your name, it all fades to black." Blaze spread his arms wide as the light turned off.

"Yeah, he sees your dreams," As the girls hugged each other, Blaze sneak from behind them with his sharp eyes and grabbed their shoulders, causing the girls to shrieked loudly, "And feasts on your screams!"

"We don't talk about that wrinkled old man." Halilintar, Taufan, and Ice joined with Blaze as they sang in unison and the light turned on again. (We don't talk about Bruno, no, no, no.)

"We don't talk about that jerk!" They danced and circling around the Kokotaim gang's table while the others could only stared at their action dumbfounded. (We don't talk about Bruno.)

Blaze appeared in front of them with furious expression as he remembered his little alien pet Pyrapi owned which Retak'ka killed, "He told me my pet would die, the next day.. dead!" (He told me my fish would die, the next day.. dead!)

Halilintar, Ice, and Taufan, "No, No!"

"He told me I'd grow a gut.. and just like he said." Ice shuddered as he patted his stomach when he remembered his first time apearance outside the power watch to fight Boboibot.

Taufan held his his chest with dramatic hurtful expression, "He told me not be playful to enemies when we're fighting." (He said that all my hair would disappear, now look at my hair.)

Those four made a circle around the Kokotaim gang while moving cohesively, "Your fate is seal once he absorb you in him!" (Your fate is seal once your prophecy is read.)

The lights shut down, leaving only one light to shone down at them. When they looked up, they saw Thorn's hanging to his thorny vine while slowly swaying and sliding down to them like a tarzan.

"He told me that the life of my dream would be promise and someday be mine." He always dreamed to be stronger, so he could be stronger to protect his planet with King Balangkung.

He sadly looked to the flowers that bloom around him. Retak'ka came one day and told him that with him, he could be stronger and make every planets became beautiful with plants growing everywhere.

But, he never told him that what he meant beautiful, would be destruction everywhere using his power. The power to create the beautiful of nature.

"He told me that my power would grow like a grape that thrive on the vine." His face darkened, making his forest green eyes shone as he stared at the carnivourous plants under him.

Taufan looked to his power watch to read a massage before gasped, "Gempa said he's done with the meeting!" (Odrē, Mariano's on his way.)

Solar remember he also always dreamed for a better owner, an owner who would treat him not as just a mere power that bring destruction everywhere he goes. But as a being that have feeling and thought of his own.

Retak'ka told him that it's impossible because he will kill anyone who dare to take his seven elementals. Solar gave up, but he still had a glimmer of hope. Maybe, just maybe one day.

"He told me the owner of my dream," Solar reached for the cafetaria ceiling, acting as if it's a faraway sky that's impossible to be reach, "..would be just out of reach." (He told me that the man of my dream, would be just out of reach.)

He lowered his hands and his silver eyes dimmed in sorrow, "They would never exist." (Bethrothed to another.)

Solar closed his eyes, "It's like I hear them now..." (It's like I hear him now.)

Thorn, who stood behind him, made a sunflower crown and put it on Solar's head while staring at the Kokotaim gang with face devoid of any emotions, "Hey, you. We want not a sound out of you." (Hey, sis! I want not a sound out of you.)

"It's like I hear him now..." Solar took a glance at the name of the owner of the biology book he read before smile spread on his fave, "I can hear him now!"

Ying whispered to Fang, "You shouldn't asked them from the start."

Fang whispered back, "Ish. I didn't know that it would be like this!"

Yaya frowned, "I feel really bad now that they explained their own experiences with him."

Gopal was vibing to the song while humming, "Hmm hmm. But, dey! This song is really good!"

Blaze and Taufan peeked at the door, "Hey guys! Gempa is on his way here!" (Isabela! Your boyfriend's here!)

"It's time for lunch!" The other three elementals, except Ice, chorushed before they fixed their table position which was previously scattered everywhere from their performance. (Time for dinner!)

Blaze sang his part again as he lifted two chairs that fell down, "A seven-foot frame with noseless appearance." (A seven foot frame, rats along his back.)

The same time Thorn made another flower crown on Solar's head, "He told me that the life of my dream would be promise and someday be mine."

"When he calls your name, it all fades to black." Blaze threw the chairs not so smoothly before peeking at the door again.

"No clouds aloud in the sky!" Taufan flew with his hoverboard as he helped cleaned up the mess they've caused.

"That jerk walked in with a mischievous grin." Halilintar fixed their table position. (Bruno walked in with a mishievous grin.)

"He told me that my power would grow like a grape that thrive on the vine." Thorn skipped to the cafetaria counter to order their food together with Solar.

Taufan slammed his hands down on the table that Halilintar was cleaned up, "Thunder!"

Halilintar glared murderous glare at Taufan, itching to just electrocuted this annoying cheerful counter part of him, "You're telling this story or am I?!"

Taufan giggled at him as he walked away, "I'm sorry, dear Hali. Go on." (I'm sorry, mi vida. Go on.)

Blaze ran around wildly after he peek at the door, "He almost reach the cafetaria!" (Odrē, Mariano's on his way.)

"That jerk said we're all powerful!" Halilintar grunted. (Bruno said it's look like rain.)

Taufan did the gesture again in front of the kokotaim gang to scare them, "If we're within his grasp!" (Why did he tell us?)

"He told me that the life of my dream would be promise and someday be mine." Thorn came with the food, the same time the tables were done cleaned up with Ice sleeping on the table like a bear in hibernation.

"In doing so, he flood my brain!" Halilintar lifted Ice so he sleep with sitting position and with his crossed arms as the pillow under his head.

"Let me get the umbrella!" Taufan dried Hali up with his wind so he's not drenched amymore. (Abuella, get the the umbrella.)

"Never be exist, exist!" Solar helped Thorn put the foods on the table. (Bethrothed to another, another.)

Halilintar used his speed to cleaned up another part of the cafetaria that got messy because of their performance, "Fight under the stroming sky." (Married in a hurricane.)

Thorn gave the whale plushie under Ice's head, "He told me that my power would grow like a grape that thrive on the vine!"

Blaze announced loudly when Gempa was a few feets away, "He's here!"

"Don't talk about that jerk!" The other five elementals, except Thorn, looked to the Kokotaim gang in warning. (Don't talk about Bruno.)

Fang sweated under the instense stare, "Okay, we're not gonna talk about him."

"Not a word about that jerk!" Blaze ran to their table quickly when Gempa waved at him from outside. (Not a word about Bruno.)

Poor Gempa, he was really confused.

Blaze gave a warning glare to Gopal, "Remember, not a word about that jerk!"

Gopal immediately nodded his head in fear and the elementals quickly sat down like nothing had happen, the same time Gempa reached the entrance and walked inside.

He looked in confusion at Blaze, "Blaze, is something wrong?"

Blaze chuckled nervously, "It's nothing, Gempa."

"Okay." Gempa sat down beside Thorn who continued to eat his lunch innocently.

Gempa then looked to Halilintar as he realized something, "Oh yeah. Hali, is Taufan bothering you again? There was red thunder from the outside when we were at meeting."

"No/Nope!" Halilintar glared at Taufan from the corner of his eyes which Taufan returned with a bright look.

Gempa looked at those two while frowning before taking his tea, "Well, the weather lately become unpredictable I guess."

He sipped the tea slowly, oblivious to the other occupants in the table glancing at each other in relief.
