Chapter 33 : Long Time No See!

In Search of Him!

Warning⚠️

Cursing, not much tho (courtesy of the elementals)

Gempa, smiles sweetly : You're not allowed to read if you're under 1000 years old.

:D (Innocent face)

In the middle of the dimly lit room, five people stood as if waiting for something, or more precisely, someone. All of them stood around the round table with hologram screen in the middle with serious face. The said screen displaying that it currently was trying to contact someone although still loading.

Then, the slide door behind them opened up and eight figures walked in. Captain Kaizo glanced behind him and saw the elementals, except Gempa, walked in with Maskmana and Commander Kokoci.

Captain Kaizo quickly did the TAPOPS salute to both of them, which the admiral and commander replied with saluting back at him.

"Have you manage to call Bago Go, Captain Kaizo?" Commander Kokoci straight up asked him after he lowered his salute.

Captain Kaizo answered respectfuly, "Not yet, commander. It seems that his line of call is busy in the current time. We have been trying to contact him for the past few minutes."

The six elementals all stood in the entrance, confused why the commander and admiral brough them here. Actually, it seemed like not all of them were in a state of confusion though.

"Wah! It feels like we're in a galactic super heroes movie!" Blaze awed as he looked around the room. The technology were clearly more advanced than the one at TAPOPS or Tempur-A station.

Taufan got on his knees and stared starry eyes at the glass floor underneath the round table that show the outer space, "Woah! Blaze, look here! The whole galaxy is moving underneath me, hahaha!."

Blaze quickly followed him, letting out a long 'Ooo~' sound before literally bumped his entire face to the glass. Taufan also followed him. Both let out various muffled 'Hehe' and 'Hoho' giggles, whereas the trio cool only stared deadpan at their action.

Thorn tugged at Solar's jacket, "Solar, why are we brought here?"

Solar glanced at him and silently cried in his heart from being touched. At least, there is one sane troublemaker that realize the situation at the moment even though the said person was too innocent.

The light elemental smiled at him, "It might have something to do with the lead they had found, Thorn."

The nature elemental let out an understanding sound at his answer. To fed up with those duo troublemaker, Halilintar stepped up, crossed his arms on his chest while alternately glaring at the three higher ups.

"So? Tell us quickly about the lead you found." Halilintar demanded while narrowing his ruby red eyes at them.

Were you expecting him to ask or talk nicely? Well, pardon me, but it was two chapters ago. This Halilintar was never patient with useless thing such as being nice.

Have you ever seen a thunder kindly choose a place where they will have to strike down? No, because they have no patient to do that.

They struck down equaly on every place on earth randomly with their magnificent crackling light and booming sound, leaving destructions mark on its trail everywhere as their way to show their impatientness to strike down. Not caring about which places does it burn or the poor victim of its high voltage electricity.

He is Halilintar, the thunder and lightning element. He never show kindness or patience to anyone, even to his previous owner(s). Only the other elementals were worthy for his kindness and patience due to them had been going through the same thing as him.

Well, that was until he and the other elementals got the new owner/master, a mere ten years old kid that somehow had carved himself to the empty slot in their hearts.

Well, he and the other elementals were heartless though previously, so it's more like their energy core precisely.

The kid really showed the childiness and the immaturity from how careless he act. Less thinking, more rash on action and stubborn, almost the same as the hot headed fire elemental.

Watching him grow slowly, alongside them, into a teenager with more experiences than a normal kid could have in that age. Although still reckless in action, it's obvious that he's getting a little mature as the times go on.

Seriously, it seemed that they were to wary about him on the first day they knew him.

Fang clicked his tongue, "Ish, be patient, will you, thunderpole?! Don't you see that we're trying to contact our first lead here?"

Yaya scolded him, "Fang, that's not nice!"

Pissed off, Halilintar shifted his attention and glared at the shadow user who's still looking at the screen while frowning. Whether from the impatientness he directed to the screen or the frustation he felt to the thunder elemental.

"What was that, porcupine?! Care to repeat what you said?" He snarled.

The said porcupine turned to him, "Oh, are you deaf now? Maybe you should stop shouting or demanding things at people before you're hearing get worsen."

"This dam–"

Taufan quickly intervened before any fight could occured, "Wow, wow, wow! Stop right there, tough guys! May I remind you that we are not in a battlefield right now."

While Taufan tried to break them up before any unnecessary fighting scene could happen, Blaze's head decided to let out a wicked idea.

"Can't wait to report this to Mama Gem." He grinned mischievously while rubbing both his palms.

Thorn put his index fingers to his lip in confusion and tilted his head to the side, "What for? Gemgem told us to only give him the report about what we hear from the admiral."

Blaze sighed, "..."

"Move from my way, airhead." Halilintar growled as he tried to shove Taufan from blocking Fang.

Fang prepared himself and quickly stood in a fighting stance. Both hands slowly glowed with eerie purplish shadow and Captain Kaizo stood in front of his little brother in worried, although he didn't show it in his face.

"Hali, calm down..." Taufan frowned as he stood unwavering on his spot, "What's wrong with you? I know that you're desperate to know what did they found from Ejo Jo, but you can't take take your anger and frustation out on Fang."

An icy hand landed himself on Halilintar's shoulder. Ice came to his side while patting the ruby eyed elemental's shoulder in calming manner.

"..You're clearly not in the right state of your mind now, Hali.." Ice then swiftly turned Halilintar around and pushed him, "..I suggest that you should take a stroll around this station to calmed your body, mind, and soul..."

"What the– I don't need any of that, Ice!"

"Come back once you feel calmer.." Was Ice only ignorant answer.

"Let me go! Stop pushi–"

Ying suddenly exclaimed, "Commander! Admiral! Captain! We've successfuly connected the call to Bago Go!"

"Connect us to him now!" Admiral Tarung barked at her, face red considering that it's working hours at the moment.

"Okay, admiral!"

All six elementals turned to her, "Bago Go?!"

"Eh? Bago Go just rejected our call, admiral!" Yaya reported while looking up a the admiral.

Admiral Tarung let out a frustated shout, "Herrghh! Connect to him as soon as possible! We don't have much time to line up like a customer!"

"Wait– what does Bago Go have to do with any of this?!" Blaze asked.

Solar hummed thoughfuly, "Now that I remember, Ejo Jo said that he bought all those robots from Bago Go. Considering that those robots contained Amanthanite, could it be that Bago Go is involve in illegal activity of Amanthanite trading?"

"That is correct. As expected from the light elemental." Maskmana praised.

Proud surged through Solar's veins and he smugly raised his chin in the air. Hands on his hips and chest puffed out boastfully as he smirked to the other elementals direction.

Halilintar and Blaze only clicked their tongues at his cocky expresion, whereas Taufan and Ice sighed at him.

"There he goes again.." They mumbled at the same time.

Taufan turned to the admiral, "Admiral shouldn't have praise him before."

"Since his egos will only get higher than his IQ..." Ice said flatly while gesturing to the laughing Solar surrounded by the duo red.

"Muahahahaha! No need to point out the obvious, admiral! I know that I am the best! I'm the light elemental after all! Known as the most handsome and smartest in the whole galaxy! Hahaha!" Solar laughed loudly and started to praise himself exageratingly.

Blaze, "..."

Blaze, "I just realized that whether because of Emotibot or not, Solar is always a lunatic."

Halilintar scoffed at him, "Did you previously think that he's the sane one despite having the highest IQ?"

"Hmm.. Solar seems fine to Thorn. Although, his mind sometimes doesn't look fine." Thorn innocently said that.

Taufan gawked at him and proceeded to tease him, "Who are you and what did you do to my innocent Thornie?!"

Thorn looked at him and blinked owlishly, "...It's.. me...?"

"Hah! Unbelievable! Just admit who you are, impostor!" Taufan shrieked.

Blaze snapped his attention real fast to them, "Did someone say 'Impostor'?! We need emergency meeting! Eject the impostor quickly before one of us die! Perishh!"

"Bu-but... Thorn is not an impostor..." Thorn's green eyes started to get teary, "Thorn is not a killer! Huwaaaaa! Lazeyy!"

The fire elemental started to run around wildly with hands thrown in the air as Thorn also ran along with him.

Ice facepalmed while Halilintar sent a dark glare at Taufan, sending shivers down to the wind elemental's back. Taufan laughed nervously while looking to the other side.

Ice languidly said, "Knew it, we need Gempa as the real sane and rational one for this."

"Why don't you do it?" Halilintar turned to him.

"Me? Why would I? You're the eldest."

Halilintar smirked, "You said that I'm not in the right state of my mind. Show me what a person in the right state of their mind would do in this situation then."

Ice grumbled at himself and walked closer to the duo troublemaker that still ran around wildly. With whale plushie hugged in both arms, he outstretched he icy hand and caught Blaze's jacket collar.

"Stop it, Blaze. You're making the situation more awkward than it already is." He yawned.

Blaze whined like a puppy he is, "But, Icee! We need to start an emergency meeting at the cafetaria to eject the impostor!"

Ice perked up, "Cafetaria? It's a coincidence that I'm currently craving for Tok–"

Before both the twins could process what happened, they found out that someone had already lifted them from their feet and left them dangling in the air while holding their collar like a cat.

Halilintar stood behind them, red ruby eyes shone with red electricity that would spark dangerously anytime. Both hands were full of gripping the twins' jacket collar whom he lifted easily.

"I thought that you will show me about what will a sane person would do in this situation, Ice." Came a low and dark whisper from the eldest.

Ice glanced at him from the corner of his vision before slowly let out Blaze's collar and dropped his icy hand limply to his side with straight look.

Halilintar huffed before dropping them to the ground carelessly with a loud thud. Blaze groaned as he rubbed his back from the impact, looking at Halilintar while pouting.

"Adoi.. that's hurt!"

Ignoring him, Halilintar turned to the only higher ups in the room that only watched the ruckus they caused with amusement. He raised his eyebrow, clearly demanding to know more about Bago Go's involvement with all of this.

Taufan could read the expression plastered on the thunder elemental's face clearly and understood what he demanded at the moment.

"Please?" Knowing their resident tsundere and his manner, Taufan immediately emphasized as he looked up to Maskmana while roughly nudging Halilintar's side with his elbow, kindly reminding him about his manner.

Halilintar's eyes twitched and he slapped away the elbow with a loud smack sound, succesfuly stopping it from nudging his sides any further.

Taufan winced and rubbed his elbow that stung a little from the thunder elemental harsh treatment, giving a fake hurt look at him which earned him a lovely typical sharp glare from our tsundere.

"Hmm.. after finding out about the illegal using of Amanthanite, we contact every guards guarding the Amanthanite mines and quickly asked for their reports from the last years they gave the report. As we investigated thorough all the reports, Admiral Agura found a report about the decreasing amount of Amanthanite for a few months." Maskmana elaborated.

Admiral Tarung continued with calmer tone than previously, "At first, we waved it off, thinking that maybe it was only a coincidence since there are always the up and down or the unexpected in every situation, including the reduced amount of mining production. However, when we asked the guards about it, they all claiming for the same thing."

"They couldn't remember anything that happened at that time." Admiral Tarung's eyes sharpened at his words.

"Wait what?! How could that be possible?!" Solar shouted before widened his eyes and put his fingers under his chin, "Oh.. actually, it's possible.. Amnesia at the same time... also at the oddly specific time when the Amanthanite production was reducing.."

He looked up. Beneath the usual orange visor, pair of silver eyes sharpened and glinted triumphly like a detective that had found out about the mysteries hidden in a case.

"It was unmistakably a planned out event." Solar stated as he pushed up his orange visor.

Blaze blinked, "So, the guards are at fault?"

Solar rolled his eyes, "No and well.. maybe yes, but that's not the point. Someone could be using drugs to those guards while they're negligent at doing their work."

"Exactly. Admiral Amato also stated the same thing. The Amanthanite mines that had been guarded strictly from south to north never show any sign of an intruder before, so to heard that someone had infiltrated the mines boldly despite the hundreds guards in charge of that mines has made us more vigilant and decided to further tighten the guard on every mines."

Maskmana then continued after a little pause with more serious tone than earlier, "It is also proven by their spaceship radar, which their general had requested secretly, that detected a foreign spaceship entering their Amanthanite mine location for a few times in that months. At first, they thought it was only a passing spaceship so they didn't put much thought about that."

"I see..." Solar got into his usual thinking pose, "Why they didn't investigate about that foreign spaceship and choosed to let it be? Did they not see the spaceship and thus, assuming that it was only a passing spaceship?"

As Solar kept asking questions for more informations, the other five elementals could only watched from the side silently.

Blaze kept looking from Solar to Maskmana repeatedly with blank face, Thorn stood still on his spot with a lost expression on his face as his mind tried to process the entire informations that entered his mind in one quick rush.

Halilintar looked down to the ground with hardened expression, eyebrows furrowed into a hard frown as a sign that he's in his deep concentration state. Taufan scratched the side of his head and hesitantly looked at Ice. The said polar bear was already snoring in his sleep while snuggling to his whale plushie.

It's always a question of how can that plushie still not dissapear even though the owner often carried it everywhere he goes.

"Indeed, that's true. Apparently, the foreign spaceship used something that had the same ability like Stealthbot. It boldly tresspassed those guards's careful eyes and stole some of the Amanthanites and sold it in the black market. Isn't that true, Bago Go?"

Hearing the unexpected question from Maskmana at the end of his explanation, the elementals immediately turned to the holographic screen.

"Eh! Don't make accusations arbitrarily, bro!" Came Bago Go's voice as he appeared on the hologram screen.

Blaze gaped, "How and when did he appear?!"

Maskmana quickly silenced him, "Let us handle him. We are very sure he have the exact information we need."

Since the room was kinda dark, it looked like Bago Go didn't notice the six elementals as they still standing near the entrance.

When was the last time they saw the scammer? Ah yes, a few months ago when he helped TAPOPS registering at the Nova Prix Race to retrieve a power sphere. No wonder the alien didn't change at all.

The usual suspicious and scammer-like smile still noticeably evident on his face. Correction, his annoying face in Halilintar opinion which added with that curly moustache that itching to be sliced piece to piece.

Upon hearing Bago Go's exclamation, Admiral Tarung's previously calmed face turned red entirely and he bristled, "'Accusation' you said?! Say that to your ilegal selling of Amanthanite weapons!"

Bago Go immediately started to sweat a river due to nervousness. Hey! He was just in ecstasic mood few seconds ago because of a numbers of hundreds customer piled up on the order call to buy various weapons worth trilions. It's literally a heavy pouring in his bank account!

So, imagine if someone or some people straight up called you, even giving you a warning to answer the call, and pointing out one of his illegal activities that he sure he had hid it carefuly from organisation like TAPOPS.

And as a business man– scammer– he defended himself although it sounded not really convincing, even to him.

"Eyy, that's an absolute nonsense, bro! I'm a good seller who never do such ilegal things. You can ask my loyal customers for testimony."

"Heh, doubt that." Fang muttered and Captain Kaizo couldn't agree more with his younger brother.

Admiral Tarung was about to fire another bullet with his sharp mouth at Bago Go when Maskmana tapped his shoulder and stepped forward.

"Unfortunately, we have no time to ask thousands of your loyal customers. However, we do already asked one of your loyal customers about what you've been doing behind your daily job as a business man." Maskmana proclaimed.

No way out of here. Not after that. Bago Go sputtered as he instantly felt that his heartbeat had stopped for a second there. But, a scammer has many ways or tricks to get themselves out from a mess.

"Err.. euhm... ha! How can you be so sure that they are one of my customer, bro? He could be lying or maybe mistook me for someone else. I'm not the only green squared head alien who is a seller, you know? I'm also famous, so it's not a surprise if some aliens decided to imitated me, hehehe." Bago Go laughed, trying to let out all the nervousness he felt at the moment in that single laugh.

Halilintar exhaled heavily while crossing his arms on his chest. He was watching the entire scene from the back with a frown on his face. His whole expression was a mixed in between impatience, frustration, and displeasure the longer he witnessed these stupid scene in front of him.

"This is getting us to nowhere.." Ice mumbled.

He was also getting tired with all those nonsense that Bago Go kept babbling endlessly.

However, Bago Go was still not done yet. His futile attempt of defending himself with the jumbling words he spouting nonstop caused the last thread of Halilintar's patience to snap.

"Ehhh, but, why do you have to call me first? I am indeed a scammer, but I would never–"

"Enough! We don't want to hear any of your bullshit anymore, Bago Go." Hearing such cold voice that cut him off made him stop and clamped his mouth shut automaticaly, especialy when that person spoke his name with resentment as if he had done something wrong to that person.

Bago Go searched for the direction where the voice came from as a boy wearing black open collar jacket with red thunder pattern stepped out from the dark shade in the corner of the room and entered his vision.. that is how he view it.

A pair of red eyes, as red as a beautiful ruby stone, shone menacingly due to the shadow created by the dino hat he wore.

If the eyes alone made a wave of shiver that ran through his back making he straightened his back unconciously, then the emotions on his eyes caused his whole body to tremble.

The emotions inside his eyes was unreadable, yet somehow intimidated him. It caused him to felt the hair at the back of his neck to stand up and took a step back in fear while sweating.

To others, they also had the same feelings as Bago Go. However since they all are trained people/aliens, they instead prepared themselves for the fight that would happen in the room.

Captain Kaizo clutched the hilt of his energy sword tightly, Fang's hands started to let out an eerie purplish shadow, Yaya and Ying leaned to each other side by side to protect the other. Admiral Tarung tensed his shoulders, whereas Commander Kokoci gulped in anxiety. All looking at Halilintar and Bago Go.

Meanwhile, the elementals stood themselves behind their eldest as back up for any fight that would occur. Sensing the atmosphere, which I should say really unpleasant, they all let out all their respective weapons secretly.

Everyone can sensed the wind in the room picked up and the temperature dropped dangerously low for the agents.

Blaze punched the front of his right fist to his left palm as both hands glowed orange. Contrary to his habit of burning things down indiscriminately, he decided to just channeled his lowest level of energy to his hands, but enough to at least melt the strongest metal in the galaxy.

Prickly vines slithered from the back of Thorn's thorny wristband like a snake. Thorn watched the entire situation with his innocent face, but it seemed its not so innocent anymore because of how the way his green eyes shone frighteningly, accompanied by his cold and emotionless smile.

And Solar.. if you expect him to shine like a sun he is, then you're wrong. People say that inteligent people tend to solve their problem with words, not violence. Hence, he only stood while playing with his fingerless gloves and flexing his fingers.

For now, he trusted the eldest to do the speaking with cruel words. But hey, a little warm up won't hurt.

"Eh? Who's this little boys? There are six of them. Are they twins?" Bago Go asked, obviously scared for his life and trying to make him look calm.

He did the wrong move though.

Blaze bristled, "'Little'?! Oh, just let me burn this little shit quickly!"

"Maybe before you burn him, you should let him buy a mirror and make him take a look at himself." Solar sneered.

Thorn giggled, "Does he not see himself? What's the point of having a pair of eyes then? Shall Thorn poke his eyes out?"

"What?! That's too sadist and cruel, Thorn!" Taufan gasped before chuckling evily, "It's better to make him shorter until he could only beg for us to stop from underneath us. It is his rightful position after all."

Ice glanced at them, "All of you are sadists."

"Oh, come on, Ice! I bet you also want to strangle this damn shortie here."

The ice elemental only chuckled lowly as he stared at his twin, "I am. However, unlike you, I don't reveal my murdering plans openly. It's more thrilling to watch your victim suffer mentally because of anxiety, fear, panic attack and finally having a mental breakdown as a result of thinking about the possible incidents that might happen to them."

Blaze was too speechless to speak, the same as the others and Halilintar secretly felt proud at Ice's words.

He looked sharply at Bago Go, "Are you forgetting who we are already?"

Bago Go squinted his eyes, racked his brain for any familiar face that he know before his expression lit up.

"Ha! You must be one of my customers!" He exclaimed.

"I rather be a bad guy than become your customer." Taufan said, no smile present on his face.

"Eehh? That's wrong?" Bago Go asked.

The elementals stared at him, clearly unimpressed. Bago Go laughed nervously and started to think again.

Halilintar stared blankly before sighing, "One of your sponsors at the Nova Prix Race few months ago."

Bago Go visibly perked up, "Sponsor? Nova Prix Race? I remember it was Fang and that dino hat boy?"

The sound of thunder boomed from outside of the station as it flashed a red glow to the room. The station shook a little and some agents almost lost their balanced upon the big force.

Commander Kokoci yelled as he put his hand over his little heart, "What was that?!"

"It seems that the battle we have on the moon is not enough for you." Halilintar threatened while summoning his Pencakar Sampah Halilintar[Thunderstorm Trash Raker] which he used to fight the five sly scammers.

Bago Go instantly took a step back in fear at the sight of the familiar weapon.

"Hey, patient, bro! Patient! Err.. I was kidding!"

"Say the name correctly, then." Blaze huffed.

Bago Go sputtered, "Err... Boi.. boiboibo–"

Clank!

Halilintar deliberately lowered the rake not so smoothly until the edge of its touched the ground and created the loud noise with ignorance face.

If there was a phrase 'sweating a river', then there would be a phrase 'sweating a Pacific Ocean' if you stare closely at Bago Go's face. Adoi, since when this boy become this aggresive and scary?

Not only Bago Go, every one in the room, except the elementals, felt intimidated by sheer display of power. The aura that was emitted by the elementals also felt suffocating to some of them. They really need to get out from that room if not because of the thought to defend Bago Go from the elementals wrath in case a fight really occur.

"Aduh, let's not do any violence, bro. It's not good." Bago Go desperately tried to calm the situation, "Let's talk calmly about it, okay? Without weapons?"

Taufan hummed in thought, "He's right. Beside, Gempa already told us not to cause any problem or fight."

Solar chimed in, "As much as I want yeet him out to the space, I have to agree with Taufan. If we use violence or threaten him, we won't get any satisfying result and also it will take a long time to lower the anxiety and fear level of the person under investigation so they could answer properly without stammering their answer. Lastly.."

"This is not how Boboiboy do it." Solar continued with low tone.

Thorn and Blaze visibly deflated at that. The vines slithered back until it disappeared completely as well as the orange glow around Blaze's hands. Ice looked down for a moment before looking up and took a deep breathe to calmed himself down.

Halilintar kept glaring at Bago Go's jittery figure before reluctantly agree. But, not without threatening the poor scammer first.

"All right. No violence. No weapons." He removed the thunderstorm rake from his hand, "But, you must answer our questions truthfully. And if you lied, there's no guarantee that you will see the next day."

Bago Go nodded his cube head really fast in agreement. Oh boy, remind him not to mess with the boy next time.

___________________________________________

Gempa jumped on his bed as a red thunderstorm struck outside the station. It was really close to their room. Correction,  It was just outside their room, right in front of the window.

'I swear if they cause any problem...' Gempa's eyes twitched in annoyance as he wore his shoes quickly.

He swore he already told them to not cause any problem or unnecessary fight before they walked off with the admiral and commander. He didn't even forget to add a little warning at the end of his words if they didn't listen to him.

He ordered Halilintar, as the eldest, to watch closely for the Trio Troublemaker and maybe Solar. It did sound really hard and stressful, and he could imagine the eldest silent scream of pain and frustation inside his head loudly and clearly. But, he has Ice on his side.

And it seemed that Halilintar last thin thread of patience snap. Since the start, it barely survived because of how tight it was and on the verge of breaking into two parts.

Gempa quickly stood up and ran through the corridor of Laskar Station to reach where the others are. Just as he made a turn to the right, he accidently bumped into someone's hard chest.

It'a super hard, like an armor.

He touched his hurting nose and was about to apologize to whoever he bumped when that person touch his shoulder and kneel so they're face to face.

"Are you okay, Gempa? Where does it hurt? Is it your nose?" A familiar male voice spoke to him gently like a father.

Father..

'Amato.' His brain helpfuly distinguished the voice.

His ears caught Amato's soft voice that laced with concern, all directed to him. It felt wrong, really wrong. He could also felt the concerned gaze on him. That also felt wrong. Such voice and look shouldn't be directed to him.

Gempa raised his hands and grabbed the hand on his shoulder. Amato frowned as his hands was put down from Gempa's shoulder by the latter. He couldn't see the expression on Gempa's face because Gempa was looking down to the ground.

"Gemp–"

"It's fine, sir. I'm sorry for bumping into you." Gempa quickly cut him off.

He turned and walked past Amato, not turning to him to make eye contact or anything. The past memory was still fresh inside his head although it happenend a long times ago and it's really hurting his head.

Before he could take another step away from that man, his ears caught a soft voice.

"I'm sorry..." Amato whispered.

Gempa's shoulders went tense and he decided to just ignore it and continue to walk away.

"I'm sorry." This time, the voice was more stern and soft and it instantly cause Gempa to stop in his track.

This man really had the audacity to apologize after almost five years?! Gempa furiously gritted his teeth and clenched his fists on his side. Although he was itching to just walked away to reach the others quickly, his feet felt stuck on the ground when he tried to move them. And so, he forced himself to stay in his place.

Amato stood up and turned around. He saw that Gempa was standing still a few steps away from him. It's obvious that Gempa was forcing himself to stay if seen from his clenched fists.

The mecha hero took this as his chance, thus took a deep breathe and steeled himself to apologize for his mistake in the past.

"I was.. really stupid back then. I nearly destroyed both his watc–"

"You destroyed one of his watch. You tried to separate us from him." Gempa growled darkly.

Amato winced, "I know! I.. I-I don't know that you guys are living inside the watch! Nor I know that you are a living being."

Gempa turned around to him and Amato slightly flinched. The earth elemental had both his golden eyes narrowed dangerously, teeth grinding together, and his face noticably darkened.

"You also injured him."

Amato's breath hitched, "..It was an accident. I thought he was sleeping."

Gempa looked at him incredulously, "You took his watches and tried to destroy it when he was asleep. You coward."

The corridor was suspiciously empty. No agents in sight. It was as if they are mocking him, giving him the privacy he need to apologize for his mistake in the past that he did to his own son.

He could only watched as Gempa walked closer to him with heavy and swift step. He could only watched as Gempa looked up at him with hatred in his golden eyes. Watched as the face of his son looked up at him with hatred and dissapointment.

"He promised.." Gempa's voice shook, "He promised that he will be independent and use this power to help people..."

"...but you lied." Gempa whispered.

Gempa's fists were clenched tighter than before, "You gave your approval. You said that you will wait for him to be a hero like you one day! That's his dream after all, right?! And you broke tha–"

"It's to protect him!"

"But, he have us!" Gempa shouted at him.

Gempa's voice was still strong despite he already lowered it volume, "He have us, the elementals. He does not need your protection. We, as his elementals, can do it instead of you."

Amato frowned, "I am his father. He was still a kid– a ten years old kid. He needs my protection as his parents–"

"Yet, you did a poor job to act like one." Gempa hissed.

"Gempa... what can a ten years old kid do with the strongest power in the whole galaxy?"

"Obviously, he did better than any ordinary ten years olds could. He understood what's wrong and what's right. He understood with what should he do with the power he got. He's not a stupid kid."

"He needs my guide as a parent!"

Gempa scoffed, "Your guide? When you barely spent your time with him?"

"However, he's still a kid, Gempa."

"Solar respect him."

Amato shut his mouth at that. Gempa stared at him, breath heavy after all the words he spouting.

"You know where did he come from. You knew Solar had been with that guy the longest, and yet that guy didn't have the slightest respect from Solar until the day he died of the hands of a kid."

The mecha hero shook his head in denial, "He was not ready to have such strong power in his hold."

"Then, can a not-ready-kid defeated Bora Ra who was the most dangerous power sphere hunter?!"

Amato chocked, "He what?!"

Gempa snapped at him, "He defeated the most dangerous power sphere hunter when he was twelve years old. You didn't even know about that! Such father you are!"

"What do you know about being a father?! I already did my best to him! Like any father would do!"

"I literally take care six destructive beings everyday, including your son." Gempa hissed lowly, "And I am sure I also did my best to stabilize them like a leader will do."

"And I am sure.. that I never break a child's dream."

Amato was too speechless to say anything about that. Gempa took a deep calming breathe and eased his tense shoulder. He didn't even realized when did he tensed his shoulders.

"You didn't even visit him for his birthday."

".. I know."

"He had waited, but all you did was giving him voice messages. Is that what father should do to their son on their birthday?"

"..."

"He's bored of that present he keep having for his birthday." Gempa glared.

"...I'm sorry.."

"You–"

Gempa raised his hand, but halted mid air. He remembered that this man is his owner's father. And to grab his collar would be really disrespectful of him. However, he did this also to respect his owner, Boboiboy.

Boboiboy didn't have the heart to yell at his own father like this. That's the reason he did this in honour of Boboiboy to let out all the feeling his owner had kept to himself deep down.

Gempa respect him.

He's different. Gempa's way of seeing if his owner if worthy or not is different from the other elementals. If Halilintar sees his owner from power, then Gempa sees his owner from their heart. Just like he did with Hang Kasa.

A strong will to protect his friends, family, and planet. Gempa gave it to him. The power to defend and protect. He's the earth elemental after all, specialize in defend.

Therefore, he also did the same. Defending Boboiboy and protect him as long as life would give to the boy.

Gempa lowered his hand to his side. Eyes still stared straight at the familiar hazel brown eyes in front of him, the same colour as his owner. Like father, like son.

"Like father, like son." He whispered hoarsely.

Amato's eyes widened at that before softening. His eyes glazed over with unshed tears.

Gempa continued, "Both are so stubborn. Your son already promised to show you what he can do with his power. And to do that, he became stubborn. He believed that he could overcome anything with his friends. Even if he failed, he won't stop and still try to overcome the obstacles he met on his way."

"And you.." Gempa pursed his lips, "You're too stubborn to accept the fate that befell to your son."

Amato looked down at Gempa's words. It's true, he should be the adult here, but he acted childishly. He couldn't accept the truth that his son had the power to be a hero just like him. He thought about how many hardships he will encounter as it goes on and he couldn't bear it. The thought of him losing his child at such young age made him shudder.

"..I'm sorry."

Gempa sighed, "Stop apologizing to me. I'm not your son."

Amato looked up, "But, you're a part of my son."

"Well, yeah. But, I'm not him. We, elementals, have our own thought and feelings. You could say that everytime we come out like this, we are our own. Not Boboiboy."

"I'm–"

Gempa immediately cut him off, "I'm tired to hear that words repeatedly coming out from your mouth. If you really feel sorry, then help us."

Amato blinked as Gempa outstretched his hand in front of him.

"Help us finding the lead to Boboiboy's location. Help us search for him. Help us save him from the hands of those bad guys."

"Help us finding your son."

As the hand on mid air wait patiently for the other's hand, Amato's hand trembled heavily. Every thought racing in his mind after hearing all Gempa's words. He want to change it. To repair their realtionship as father and son. It's not too late. He want to see his son smile at him.

"Okay."

And so, the hand on mid air finally met with the other's hand as they made an alliance. One to protect and one to repair.

Ochobot let itself sat on Gopal's lap while the indian boy pet his bestfriend's power sphere on its round head in soothing manner.

Both gazed outside to the space, mind wandering to the events that had occur for the last few days. The attack, kidnapping, attack again, and weird day seeing Halilintar chuckled.

There was comfortable silence between them before one decided to break it.

"Umm.. Gopal, why didn't you come with the others?"

Gopal sighed, "Don't wanna.."

"Eh? Why? Is something the matter?" Ochobot asked, clearly worried for it second bestfriend.

Just like Halilintar's patience thread, Gopal also had a wall he had built after Boboiboy's kidnapping. He didn't want to look weak in front of everyone, thus he built the wall.

Like any other wall, Gopal's wall of being strong finally crumbled down to dusts. One by one, tears started to rolled down his cheeks. At first, it was slow until Gopal's whole body shook uncontrolably and tears rolled down like a waterfall on his face.

"Bo-Boboiboy... I miss him, Ochobot! Huhuu! I miss my bestest best friend!" Gopal cried.

Ochobot ignored the hot tears that fell on the top of his round head. It's disgusting, but he knew what better to do than complaining about that. He listened to Gopal.

"I miss his presence! I-I miss his 'Awesome' catchphrase! And I miss his smile!" Gopal wiped his tears, "An-and with the elementals out, they remind me so much of my best friend. It hurts, Ochobot!"

"Their faces... are the same as him, but at the same time, they're not him. That's what they said right?! And that's hurt."

Ochobot finally moved. He floated up to Gopal and hugged him.

"Dah, dah. Don't be sad, Gopal. I also miss him, but we have to be strong. Just like Boboiboy would do in any situation." Ochobot said as it pat Gopal's back.

"I'm worried for him. And you too. You've been eating less and distanced yourself from the others to stay in your room. I know you're strong, Gopal. Remember the time when we stayed at Planet Quabaq?"

Gopal wiped his snots away, "Uh-huh.."

"Tok Kasa told me about how dauntless you guys are. You two trained so hard from morning till night so we could save our friends and the four elementals from Retak'ka as soon as possible. At first, I didn't believe it."

"Dey, Ochobot! Me and Boboiboy literally entered Kang Kong's nest, you know?! I never want to experience that again, huhu." He shuddered.

Ochobot's blue eyes crinkled into crescent and laughed, "Hahaha, see! I know you're scared, but you still fought alongside Boboiboy despite your fear."

"Think this situation like that time. But, instead of saving our friends and the elementals, we save Boboiboy. You saw how hard Boboiboy tried that time, right? Well, now it's your turn! Who knows, maybe we will tell Boboiboy how brave Gopal is when he tries to save him. Like a knight in shining armor!"

Gopal widened his eyes before hugging the poor power sphere back. He wailed loudly at Ochobot's supportive and comforting words that directed to him.

"Yo- huhuu– You're right, Ochobot." He sniffled, "This time, I will be the one to save Boboiboy! I will show those bad guys how strong this brave Gopal! Thank you, Ochobot!"

"Hehe, you're welcome Gopal!" All that time Ochobot said those comforting words, Ochobot's eyes still crinkled into crescent. He already did everything he could to gain back Gopal's old self.
