Chapter 21 Day Three

A double update you are lucky i thought about publishing it next week but whatever i wanted to get a big part out the way and right in front of your eyes anyway

Waking up, today felt different as if something bad was going to happen.

This has been something that has happened to me for years I’ve always got wired feelings and they’ve always been correct in a sense. Since I was a child I memorized these feelings on days I felt tired like inordinately tired I knew it was going to wither rain or snow.

Whenever I felt overly energized it was going to be sunny. And the last was a dreadful feeling I was able to never shake off it was like someone was putting pressure on my brain and wouldn’t stop it was so hard to describe yet I knew it meant something bad was coming like a storm or hurricane.

Untangling myself from Ashton’s limbs I sat up looking around the room I saw the windows curtains still open, the sky was grey with no sun peeking through at all it was grey and dull like a storm was brewing not liking the look of outside or the feeling I got I get up slowly and rush towards the window quickly closing the blinds I dive back onto the bed a pair of arms wrapping around me.

“mm what are you doing ” he mumbles rubbing his head in my neck

“just shutting the curtains,” I say snuggling into him

“mm kay sleep” he commands letting out a deep breath.

closing my eyes the warmth of his body and warm breath on my neck lulls me to sleep.

waking up again is different from last time this time it’s not to the sun or a slightly bad feeling its to shouting and banging and engines starting as tires screech. Diving up I look around Ashton’s not next to me anymore, a warm spot is the only signal that he recently left. Getting off the bed my feet hit the cold wood flooring padding towards the door I open it to be greeted with chaos. people are running from their rooms left right and centre yelling for people to hurry up. walking in amongst the crowd I finally make it down the stairs to find some people leaving others not, spotting Molly and Caleb eating I walk up to them

“what’s happening?” I asked sitting next to them

“there’s going to be a blizzard and everyone’s meant to stay inside however the people who live close are going home unlike the rest of us we can’t since we live further away and the storms meant to hit in about an hour according to the weather lady,” she said pointing to the small TV in the kitchen on the fridge with a woman pointing at the symbol of a blizzard heading in our direction.

“Ave’s here I made you some breakfast, “Greyson said putting as a plate of food in front of me.looking at it, I see some of my favourite food bacon, sausage’s, mushroom omelette’s and hash-browns not forgetting ketchup

" Thanks, Grey,” I said diving into my food eating it like I was starved

“do you think its as bad as they say it’s going to be?” I question shoving the rest of my omelette in my mouth

" could be, could not be it’s hard to rely on the forecast however everyone here seems to think so that’s why a lot are leaving apparently phone lines are meant to go down with how strong its meant to be,” Caleb said getting up and kissing Molly’s cheek

“see you in our room hun I’ll see if I can find you a warm outfit,” he said leaving

I awe at his sweetness I wish I had something like that I’ve not even had a boyfriend my first kiss was with Kingston which he never remembered then my second was with Ashton both were from a drunken mind yet I don’t regret them neither of them no matter the circumstances yet I do feel shame for kissing two guys who were brothers how low am i. soon everyone has left the kitchen apart from grey and i

“uh Grey?” I say wondering if I should ask my question or not

“yeah Ave’s ”

“uh I um do you have any um is your house storm protected?” I say quickly

“yeah it is glass is nearly impenetrable, doors are steel and brick is solid there won’t be any damage,” he said calmly pointing to everything on the lists.

“so its everything proof?”

" pretty much yeah ”

“that’s cool” I muse it truly is having a house that’s storm proof not much damage that must be heaven

“hey is their still bars?”

" yea they’re lessening but still there”

“Okay, I’m gonna go call my aunt to tell her I’m staying here and also change” I mutter the last part.l heading to my room I fish my phone out my bag opening it and pulling up my aunts number pressing on the dial. it finally picked up

" hey Aunt M I’m not sure if ill be back tomorrow you know because of the storm so um I just want to make sure you stay safe”

“I will Ava don’t worry ill be fine just stay safe and don’t go outside, please ”

“I won’t don’t worry ill see you after the storm ”

“bye Ava ”

“bye”

I hang up walking towards the closet opening it I search for a hoodie or sweater to see if I brought one, unfortunately, I didn’t sign I pull out some black jeans and a black vest along with some black underwear after putting them on I pick up a pair of black boots and socks pulling them on as well going to the mirror I brush my hair and pull it up into a messy bun deciding not to do makeup I leave my room and search for one of the boys looking in the kitchen I don’t see Grey so I go on the hunt for them wandering around their home I see an open door looking in I see a bareback with a tattoo on it it was a wolf and looked slightly tribal knocking on the door

“uh hello, do you know where Ashton or King-” I freeze as the person turns around and guess who it is? Kingston

" king uh hey um I was wondering could I borrow a sweater? I don’t have one” I say nervously

“sure thing sweet uh um-” he walk s towards the closet going through the contents he muttered ‘not thin and not this one’ over and over until

“here,” he said handing me a grey one thanking him I pull it over my black vest it reaches mid-thigh and goes over her hands. walking towards me he pulls me towards him his hands on my waist

" It suits you” he muttered smoothing it over while looking in my eyes

“thanks ” I smile ” go watch TV while we still have it,” he said pushing me away

" you know me so well king”

“course I do you’re my ma-friend my best friend ”

“I’ll go be safe”

“bye Ava” he murmured

heading to my room I plugged in my phone charging it for the storm so I would be able to play some music jumping on the bed I choose something to watch out the cabinet I’m thrilled when I saw Jeepers creepers one, two and three-putting one in I start to watch it hearing the rest of the cars driving away soon the wind begins to howl and the branches scrape and tap across the windows looking at the window I spot snow falling rapidly down and going in all kinds of directions haphazardly not blowing in a single direction so it must be a blizzard starting. Knowing blizzards escalate quickly I finish the movie then put in the second one trying to keep my mind off the blizzard striking outside the house.

During the third movie, the lights make a buzzing noise and go out along with the television. Quickly turning off the switches and unplugging everything I shove my phone into my back pocket and lock the room door heading blindly downstairs and yes I did fall down some steps multiple times I sigh in relief at reaching the bottom of the stairs the building was dark but not that bad so I couldn’t see however I do have great night vision which I inherited from my dad so I must thank him for that anyway getting back to the point. I find my way to the living room where I spot people with candles.

“Hey, guys want help?” I ask as I spot grey ash and king lighting candles and setting them around the room

“We got it doll,” ash said

“Here take this and go to my room in the closet there’s a box at the back full of board games could you get it?” he asked shoving a candle into my hand

“sure,” I say already leaving walking to his room I open the door using the candle to guide me. opening the door I push the clothes away walking through I find the box opening it to check its the right one I suddenly get a pain in my back as if my bones are shifting thinking it must be the bending down I see its the right box and get up stumbling out the closet the pain is gone as quick as it came sighing in relief I head back downstairs putting the box in the middle of the room and rug.

I open the box and pull out the contents placing them around me seeing that the living room is lit perfectly for everyone still here to see I finally notice there is a minimal amount of us boys and girls

“okay raise your hands for monopoly,” I say to which everyone’s hand goes up there’s about twenty of us me included which will make the game complicated thinking of a way it could work I find a plan

“Okay everyone gets into four groups of four and pick your team,”

Soon everyone is in there teams me Molly Samantha Chloe and Charlie are a team while Charles and Caleb are in King, Ash, and Greys team.

throughout the game, it became night and the curtains were open the blood moonlighting the room red I double over in pain my back acting up again

“Ava are you okay?” a voice I recognized as Chloe’s says

“my back it hurts, “I say through gritted teeth soon I feel Kings sweater and my vest being lifted up

“Uh Kingston you need to see this,” she said as I doubled over again this time it was my back and shoulder blades

he gets up and comes over to me,

“oh, my ” is all he can get out before I scream at the pain invading my body.

Third persons POV

Kingston looks at her back in shock her spine was moving along with her shoulder blades her spine was pushing against the boundary of her skin elongating then shortening, her shoulder blades moving towards each other than back out. He knew this he knew what was happening she was shifting, she wasn’t human she was just a late shifter and with it being the third day of the blood moon it was right for her to shift the blood moon would force the shift of a late bloomed werewolf and would make it excruciatingly painful since it was forced. pulling her up he pulled her to the kitchen since it was empty, he wanted to remove her clothes since it would make it more comfortable but he wouldn’t since it would be violating her, he was the only one there since he was an alpha but he could hear the worry and chaos that was her friend’s minds.

hearing her antagonising screams for hours everyone was, well uncomfortable isn’t even the word to describe it no one was playing anymore and Kingston Ashton and Greyson were worse than the rest they could feel her pain even though they weren’t officially mated they could feel all of her pain and it was dreadful. every wolf could hear the pain of their to be Luna and they all wanted to help but could not even the current alpha and Luna could hear it he screams hitting them to the core.

she was withering in pain in front of him her limbs were breaking over and over her hands that were on the floor morphed her nails grew longer as she griped the tiled floor scratching it feeling confined she tried to pull of the sweater but ended up shredding it along with her vest and bra so waist up however it didn’t stop there with her claws the uncomfortable and shifting made her claw at the placed that hurt scratching herself as blood oozed out the wounds she was naked king tried not to look however he couldn’t stop but he wasn’t looking at her naked chest he was watching as her arms broke the broken bone cracking with her screams the broken bones shifting and pushing against the skin while shortening and growing her face was shifting to through her creams her teeth began to grow longer and sharper her face next was morphing her mouth jaw and nose growing longer her nose shifting and forming a snout as her legs broke and shifted shredding her jeans and underwear from her body making her fully naked her hair shortens and started to sprouts from every pore her eyes also changed from their regular look to glowing but were the same color as they were however both worked to her amazement she could fully see however it was red but still she could she saw like a wolf would

suddenly the screaming stopped in the house and Kingston was in awe at her she was beautiful down to the last detail but now all he could feel was panic she way lying on the floor her paws trying to push her up but she kept falling back down like a foe that was trying to walk for the first time soon she was up again, however, Kingston wasn’t prepared for what was going to happen she bolted against the locked patio door throwing her body against it repeatedly until it cracked continuing soon the sound of glass falling and a crash flew through the house making everyone run into the kitchen first spotting the shredded clothes on the floor the ones she shredded of well she shredded of her top her jeans shredded when her limbs broke next they saw glass spewed about the kitchen to a frozen Kingston then their gaze shifted to the broken hole in the glass door the still intact shards covered in blood and a pile of blood on the floor looking through the hole in the glass they spotted a wolf running fast so fast they could hardly see it before in entered the woods.

A/N: well that just happend she had her first shift and boy did it sound excruciatingly painful even for me writing it i didn’t like putting poor Ava through that pain but it all happens for a reason tell me did you think at the beginning of this chapter something bad was going to happen also with the use of the weather did you notice the pathetic fallacy? anyway hope you liked this chapter. oh comment on any mistakes.
