Nick's POV
After I accept Alex as my mate we told the whole pack and everyone was happy and I was too....until Rose came in. She just came over for coffee for 2 week and stays for more then 8 hours at my house.
"So Nick when's the wedding" Ruby said as she took a sip of her coffee
"Why are you asking that......" I said, just now realizing why
She want to be our photographer, I mean I would love her be if I hadn't seen what she did to the other couples. She went to far and stalked them and even at their honeymoon and there where all on her laptop...she had video and photos having sex.
"Well, you see who a great chance of getting photos and video of your whole wedding for only $500 and I mean it's not everyday your friends with a pro photographer" Ruby said as pulled out her business card slide it in front of me
I have to say I was scared of telling her hell no, but....
"That's great a deal but, Ruby we aren't ready yet" I said as slide it back to her
"I mean hasn't Alex propose to you, anytime this week" Ruby said
"Are you talking about how sexual assault my mate and broke into my house " I said, no reaction came from her
"That wasn't sexual assault and your door was open, your overacting" Ruby said as drink some more of her coffee
"You tied engagement rings to his dick, Ruby, your lucking were aren't we reporting you to the cops and we plan not because we don't want to tell them what you did to him" I said remember what she did
"Well, I guess I will be going now" Ruby said, then she super speeded out of my house
Few minutes later, there is a knock at the door and I went to go open it and it was a boy and he looked young and had to be around 5'4" or 5'5" ft. He was human, but how did he get pass the guards and my barrier.
"Hi there, what young man like you doing here" I asked him
"I was actually looking for Ruby, I can smell her on you and that mean your really closes to her" the Boy said
"Wait what???" I said confused as he sprayed something on my face, I blacked out
(Afternoon)
I was slow waking up, when I did I was tied up to a chair in a cabin and I tried to break free but I couldn't. The boy who knocked me out was reading a book.
"Okay, you listen kid, let me go right now or else" I said to him
"I only took you to lure Ruby out and when she come to save you, I will make her pay for what she did to me and I also have name you know" He said
"Okay, my name is Nick, what's yours" I said not caring what his name is
"I'm Christopher Leon Gracefield, and I'm also the next queen of the Vampires, but you can just call me Chris" he said proudly
"But your guy, wouldn't you be the king?" I said
"Well...um... My husband was more suited for the king position" Chris said shyly
"Okay, so why do want to get revenge on Ruby for??" I asked him
"She did something unforgivable" Chris said
"But like what did she do to you" I asked him
He was about to say something, until the cabin door busted open and there was Rose
"So you finally showed up" Chris said
"Chris, I told mom and dad what you did and your grounded until your wedding day " Ruby said as she walked over to me and untied me
"That not fair, I left you the note and it clearly said on the bottom not to tell mom and dad, you broke the rules" Chris wined
"I really don't care, Chris, but sadly I really didn't even read the note because you are so stupid, I mean you didn't cover up your track when you kidnapped him and I also know you were staying up in the attic of my house for the passed two weeks" Ruby said annoyed
"Wait, you two are siblings?!" I said surprised
"Yes sadly, me and my parents are so, so, so, sorry for what he did, please don't kill him" Ruby said bow her head
"It's okay, Ruby, I'm mostly confuse why he is here" I said
"He's here because I didn't RSVP for his wedding" Ruby as he glared at him
"Why won't you come to my wedding, it's my big day" Chris cried as he was hugging her
Rose punched him so hard his head went through the floor
"Ruby, you shouldn't hit your brother like that" I said
"He's use to it, when we were kids I would send him fly out my window, if he came into my room without permission" Ruby said as she pulled him out
"Why are you so mean to me" Chris cried out as he clanged on to Ruby
"You should be save your tears for your punishment, Chris" Ruby said smiled at him
Chris looked at her scared as hell about his punishment
"Don't tell me....mom and dad are here" Chris said trembling in fear
"I'm sorry to say mom and dad are busy at the moment, so I called your husband and he sure was angry when you weren't home, but he was sure happy when I told him you were here but.." Ruby said as she dragged him out of the cabin
I followed her and I really wanted to ask why they are meet up at my house
"But??" Chris said look up at her
"He's mad and disappointed in you for taking away my friend who had nothing to do with between you and me, He has a mate and kids who are worried about him" Ruby said as she hit him on the head
"Is he really at my house??" I asked
"Yeah, I took him there to apologize to Alex for what his stupid mate did" Ruby said
"I'm not stupid!!" Chris shouted as Ruby throw him in the back seat of her car
We drove to my house and we went inside to the living room where Alex and Chris's husband. His husband was about Alex's hight and he was tall and handsome.
"Hi, you most be Nick, I'm Theo Ember, I'm sorry for what happen and please forgive him for being childish and rude to you" Theo said as he bowed he's head at me
He seems like a nice, but he smelled like a vampire and something else
"It's okay, I have already forgiven him and I want to ask, are you a hybrid" I said, he nodded his head
"I was a werewolf a long time, until Chris turned me into a vampire" Theo said as he changed his eye color from blue to red
"Wow" I said and for a second he's eye widen in surprise
"Can I talk to you Nick, alone in private" Theo said as he dragged me to the backyard
"Okay" I said, we were already outside
"You met him!!" Theo said as he grabbed my hand were my pendent bracket was
"You know him?!" I asked
"Yeah, he was my Alpha and I was his Beta and we are best friend, but I like to think we are brother..but you meet him haven't you, when, where" Theo said desperately
"It was 2 weeks in the woods, why do you want to know" I asked
"I need apologize to him for what I said to him and I went too far and he hate me for it, but I'm asking you for help" Theo said sadly
"What can I do, I mean I really don't want get involved in your business with his and besides I hardly know him and you, and I don't want that guy to kill me" I said as I walked away
"Wait!! please, nothing will happen to you, I just need you say his name" Theo said
"He didn't tell me and he said he will kill me if I found out" I said
"I promise you, he won't hurt you" Theo said as he pulled out his phone and showed me it
"Derek Parker" I said as I looked around for him....he didn't show up I thought
"Remember when I said I never wanted to see your face ever again, and here you Theo" Derek said
"I know but can I just want to talk..I'm sorry for what I say to you, I know you were just getting to feel like the normal you..I'm so sorry, I was just angry for what I thought you did to my mate, please let me make it up to you" Theo begged on his hands and knees front of him
"You really think I will forgive you, my best friend, my little brother, you said so many things that I wanted to forget about and you accused me for raping your mate...we had strong bond and you broke it and nothing can fix it" Derek said as he squatted down and pulled Theo's head to face him

"Remember when we were kids and your parents died from a rouge attack and the next night there was a second attack, my parents left me and you alone in the hidden cave and they went to fight, but a rogue somehow found us. You were so scared you shouldn't move and I ended up protecting you and killing that rouge, remember" Derek said as Theo looked even sadder
"I now wished I gave you up to that rogue to save myself" Derek said with a cold look on his face
"Y-You don't mean that..don't say please" Theo cried as he held to Derek's arms
"Why, I'm just be honest to you, like you were to me that night" Derek said
"I didn't meant what I said to you..please your my big brother, your my only family...we only have each other , please forgive me, please, please...." Theo sobbed
"We aren't family or brothers and that night you made it clear to me, so Theo you will alway be dead to me and this is your last warning, if we ever meet a again I will kill you" Derek said as he push Theo away and glared at me, then disappear
Theo was on the ground crying, I felt sad for him and its really awkward for me watch a man cry in front of me.
"Theo, about what happen" I said quietly
"Just go back inside..I need to be alone right now...here, give this to Chris" Theo said as he gave me a folded note and ran into the woods
I went back inside and everyone talking, but stopped and looked at me.
"Nick, are you okay" Alex asked me
"Yeah, just a bit uncomfortable" I said as gave the note to Chris
"Theo wanted me to give this to you" I said
"But where is he??" Chris asked
"He saids wants to be alone and went into the woods" I said
"Why, what happened??" Chris asked me
I pointed to the pendent hope who knows about it and he did. He looked at it and ran out to the backyard, he must be looking for Theo.
"What just happen out there" Alex asked
"I don't want to talk about it" I said as I sat down on the couch
"Okay, so we need to talk about Sky and Vincent" Alex said
"What happen?" I asked
"Well, today after school, Vincent attacked Sky and drank his blood" Ruby said
"And you are telling me this NOW!!!" I said looking at her
"Well, you did get kidnap, so I didn't want to add more stress" Ruby said
"I wasn't even stressed out, but now I am" I said
"Forget all at, how are we going to protect our son, Nick" Alex said
"Actually, Victor and I are planning on going back home with Chris and staying there forever" Ruby said
"What???" I said
