In His Eyes Chapter. 7
-
It felt like a dream. The warmth of his body pressed against mine, his soft yet firm skin that felt hot to the touch, his quiet and gentle snoring, the rise and fall of his chest and the feel of the beating of his touch under my hand. Everything seemed and felt like a dream. I didnât want to open my eyes in fear that everything would go away as soon as I was conscious of my surroundings.
Everything felt like a dream, but all of the sudden I felt empty. As is everything had turned cold and I was abandoned once againâ¦
Slowly, I opened my eyes to realize that I was alone in my bed. I reached to touch the side of the bed Micah had slept on, and it was still warm. He had been here not so long ago. I sighed and finally I felt air rush into my lungs as I realized that I hadnât been abandoned. The sound of the shower in my room had me smiling and sighing happily.
This was really happening.
Micah loved me, or at least he liked me enough to try and give us a chance at something more than friendship. I stretched on my bed, the thin cover low on my hips, as I stared at the ceiling. I had to be careful with what I said and what I did around Micah. He was easily hurt and it wouldnât be good to end things before anything began happening.
The water in the shower turned off and I balanced on my elbows, waiting for Micah to come out of the shower. My breath caught in my throat as soon as the door opened and Micah came out. Micah walked out of the bathroom with only a towel wrapped around his waist. Water glistened down his firm chest. His hair was dripping down his back and I had an urge to lick the water from his lower back to his shoulders, nipping and licking his skin. I groaned deep in my throat and it seemed to have caught Micahâs attention.
A small smile covered his lips as he looked in my direction, âDid I wake you up?â
I swallowed twice before saying anything in case my voice was husky with lust.
âNo, I woke up a while ago.â
Micah nodded and smiled, a small chuckle escaping his lips. Those luscious lipsâ¦
Damn itâ¦
âUmm⦠Iâm gonna go change.â He said and his cheeks turned slightly pink.
I crawled out of bed and stood in front of him before he could leave my room.
âIs something the matter, Micah?â
His breathing was a bit labored as he looked down at his feet. The hold he had on the towel tightened as he bit his lip. He was nervous.
I couldnât help it. I closed the small gap between us and kissed him gently. His cheeks burned crimson and I chuckled as a whimper escaped his lips. The small whimper triggered something in me. Next thing I knew, Micah was on the bed and I was on top of him. I had his hands pinned above his head and I was sucking his bottom lip into my mouth.
Micah groaned and writhed under me, enticing me to do more. I grabbed his wrist with one hand and the other traced a trail down his body. His skin was smooth and slightly damp. The muscles under his belly contracted as I caressed and tickled him below his belly button. Micah pushed his hips against mine, making me groan into his mouth. I grinded my hips down on his and he whimpered.
âD⦠Dimitri⦠w-waitâ¦â
I pulled back and looked down at Micah. He was looking away, his cheeks were crimson red, and he was breathing hard.
âWhatâs the matter, Micah?â
He swallowed and I saw his eyes brim with tears. I climbed off of him and pulled him up with me. Micah was sitting on the bed and I kneeled in front of him. He was slightly shaking.
âMicah⦠baby, whatâs the matter?â I brushed his hair back from his eyes and raised his head to look at me.
âI⦠Iâm not ready⦠Iâm s-sorry.â He said in a soft whisper. His voice broke at the last word. A tear spilled from his eyes and I crushed his body to mine.
âIts okay, Micah, I understand⦠thereâs nothing to apologize for, baby.â I kissed his temple and hugged him tight.
âPlease donât hate meâ¦â He whispered.
I shook my head, âI donât hate you, Micah. I canât hate youâ¦â I cradled his face in my hands and kissed him gently. He gripped my hands and rested his forehead against mine.
âHow bout we take things slowâ¦â I whispered and kissed the tip of his nose.
Micah smiled and nodded. I kissed him gently once again and hugged him tight too.
âNow would be a good idea to go get dressed⦠itâs too much a temptation having you like this and not being able to act on it.â We both chuckled and Micah left my room to go to his.
I wanted to stop him, but it would only ruin things. I knew how to take my time in a relationship, but Micah made me feel⦠different. He made me feel things I hadnât when I was with Nick or anyone else. Back when I was with Nick, I always felt that I needed to show him that I loved him constantly. Nick would always ask me if I loved him and every time I had to prove his insecurities wrong. However, Micah made me feel equal. As if we both stood on an equal ground and that this relationship would be a give and take. It was the first time I felt secure about something.
âDamn, he looked goodâ¦â I felt myself grow hard remembering how Micah looked in that skimpy towel around his waist. The way his chest looked soft but firm altogether made my mouth go dry. His lips, oh so kissable and tempting⦠I began rubbing myself through my boxers. The tent soon grew into a full erection and the small touches I administered werenât enough. Inhaling slowly and moving my hand with gentle strokes, I couldnât stop half way.
âOh⦠f-fuck⦠Micahâ¦â My breathing became labored as I continued the gentle strokes. I wanted to go faster but I also wanted to picture Micah doing this to me. The moment I imagined that it was Micahâs hand; it took me over the edge. With a groan deep in my throat, I came in my boxers. I tried to calm my breathing but it had been too long that I felt myself shiver in need.
âG-gotta get a gripâ¦â I mumbled to myself as I closed my eyes tightly and tried to push the images of a sexy Micah on his knees in front of me out of my head.â
The sound of a door closing had me looking around my room. The door that connected my room to Micahâs was semi closed. My eyes widen as I realized that Micah had heard me. Damn it, I thought as I composed myself and walked over to the door to find Micah sitting on his bed. He wasnât looking in my direction or in any direction as a matter of fact. His eyes seemed to be glued to the carpet.
âHey, Micah, whatâs wrong?â
He shook his head and smiled a bit, âJust thinking about todayâ¦â
Today, what was happening today? I tried to remember but nothing came to mind.
âIâm going to the doctor with Chris to see if thereâs a possibilityâ¦â
Understanding came over me as my chest tightened at the possibility. If there was a chance that Micah could see again, I was going to do everything in my power to make that happen.
âWant me to come with you?â
Micah shook his head, âYou have that meeting at the studio. Iâll call you when I get out of the doctor.â He smiled again.
Shit, he thought as I walked over to him and kissed him gently.
âI have to hurry and get ready; Iâll be waiting for your call, alright? If anything happens, donât hesitate to call.â I kissed his forehead and rushed to my room to get ready. Even though Micah had smiled back in his room, I could tell that there was something he wasnât telling me. Was it so bad that I whispered his name while I got myself off? I shook my head and pushed those thoughts aside. I had a big meeting today and focusing on other things would surely cost me a great business deal.
Chris arrived to the house to get Micah as I was leaving.
I stopped Chris half way out the door. âHey, heâs hiding something from me, so would you ask him what the matter is really?â
Chris nodded and wished me luck. I was going to need it.
I arrived at the studio with time to spare. I cleaned around a bit and waited for the business man who wanted to invest with me. As soon as he walked in, I cringed inside.
âHello, Mr. Sorin, it is nice to meet you.â He stretched his hand to shake mine, a playful smile on his lips.
âNickâ¦â
Nick shook his head, âItâs Mr. Holt, Dimitri.â
The look on my face must have told him that I was about to play games with him. Nick chuckled and took a seat and patted the one next to him. I took the seat in front of him and crossed my arms over my chest.
âYou look good, Dimitri. I always loved it when you would wear a vest and jeans. You look so professional,â he practically purred.
I sighed, âWhat do you want, Nick? Iâm waiting for some business partners and donât have time for your games.â I was starting to get irritated.
Nick smiled, âIâm who youâre waiting for, Dimitri.â
I raised a brow and he continued, âMy Company merged with a pottery company and I was assigned to find the best potter in town to make replicas of the Ding Dynastyâs relics. â
I pinched the bridge of my nose, âI donât have time for games, Nick.â
He shook his head, âOh, baby, this isnât a game. If we become partners, then it will be your name all over the world as those relics go from museum to museum.â He leaned forward and placed his hand on my thigh.
âWhy did you come here, Nick?â I said as I pushed his hand away.
Nick sighed and leaned back on the seat, âI already told you, I was assigned-â
âWhy are you really here, Nick?â
A smirk covered his lips, âI want you back.â
I sighed as I rubbed my temple. I was starting to get a headache.
âBut thatâs the personal reason of why Iâm here. The company asked me to show them your work, and the CEO is pleased with what he saw.â
I chuckled humorlessly, âAre you sure he was pleased with my work or pleased fucking you?â
Nickâs jaw tightened, âDonât be like that, Dimitri.â
I scoffed, âHow do you want me to be, Nick? You fuck your way to the top, isnât that your angle in every company youâve been in?â
Slap.
My cheek burned by the force of Nickâs slap. I didnât turn to look at him, but I was sure that he was furious.
âI came here to make you a business offer, Dimitri. Donât mix my intentions with my job. Iâll be here tomorrow to sign the papers.â Nick grabbed his suitcase and turned to leave.
âI already have someone, Nick, and Iâm not leaving him.â
It was Nickâs turn to scoff, âare you talking about that blind guy youâre living with? Please, Dimitri, donât be ridiculous.â
âI see that you asked around about me.â
Nick walked back and leaned forward. Our faces mere inches from each other. âI have to keep taps on my man or else heâll get the idea that heâs free to do as he pleases.â His breath was cool and tickled my lips.
I stared right into his eyes, âIâm not your man, Nick.â
He smirked and chuckled, âOh, baby, but you are mine. Youâll always be mine.â He closed the gap between in a forceful kiss. His tongue demanded entrance but I denied it. He sucked on my lower lip before pulling away.
âYouâre a passionate man, Dimitri, and when that pathetic man canât give you what you want Iâll be waiting. After all, charity cases only last for a while.â Nick nipped my lip again and left.
Once he was gone, I rested elbows on my knees and my head on my hands. What was Nick going to do? I knew that Nick had abandonment issues but wanting to be with me was ridiculous. At least thatâs how I see it. Why would he want to be with someone that only feel repugnance when looking at him?
âWhat did I get myself into?â I took a deep breath and tried to think of a way to get out of this mess. I needed the contract Nick was offering me to expand my business, but was I willing to put my relationship with Micah on the line?
I reached for my cell phone and dialed a number.
âHello?â
âDamien, I need your help man.â
There was shuffling on the other side, âYouâre at the studio, right? Iâll be over in twenty minutes.â
I hanged up and waited for Damien. I needed his advice right nowâ¦
