Chapter Eighteen

Eric walked following Nataly smell; it took him to pass the clearing into the woods in the direction of the omega’s cottages.

“Fuck not again” he cussed he was going to turn around and leave when he heard a door open. There, coming out of a small cottage came Kevin limping, after him came a young woman, he hadn’t seen in a long time.

That is when it hits him, she is the one producing the enticing smell. His stepdaughter is his second chance mate. What were the odds?

Eric doesn’t feel disappointed even if she is the bastard daughter of Courtney, this time his mate is a female betta he can do with that, yet again she is still not of age she is fifteen just like his first mate.

Oh well he will bring here tomorrow first hour in the morning to the pack house where he will keep an eye on her until she is of age.

He is an asshole but not a child molester “stupid human she is not your mate” Simon mumbled “yes she is I can smell her scent.”

“You killed our true mate; she has a true mate out there and it is not you” Simon growled at Eric.

“You’re wrong, the moon goddess blessed us with a new mate and this one is worthy of us” Eric grinned at the idea of making her his luna but now what is he going to do with Courtney.

She will rot in the dungeon while I have a new life with her daughter. This time I will sire a pup with Nataly, he was already making plans in his demented head, that he didn’t see where she went with Kevin.

Where did they go, he followed her scent again and found them in his pack lands near the dungeon building.

If they are planning on taking Courtney out I will let them. I don’t care whatever happens to that bitch she can rot in there or leave with her lover. What I want now is to get my paws on Nataly. She is my main focus from now on.

Eric observed them from the darkness; he couldn’t believe that the bastard child of his future ex could shift at a young age. Her wolf was a stunning golden hair color with blue piercing eyes.

She was truly his mate. What would have happened if Courtney did obey him and got rid of her, he would be stuck with her still now he was thankful she didn’t obey him, but he didn’t regret anything he did to her while they were together.

He saw how both of them were planning on getting in the building. Of course, Kevin knew how to get in, he was his gamma after all, Kevin mind linked his guards to let them pass and pretend they didn’t see them or sense them.

He then linked his betta “David, I need you with me near the building where we have the prisoners come quickly.”

“Yes alpha, I’m on my way you can mind link again” his beta asked surprised since Eric started to inject himself with wolfsbane he lost that ability too but today he didn’t take any dose and his wolf was awake but too weak to take control.

Eric rolled his eyes “yes and I will do it more often I’m letting my wolf free again, he will need to surface again I can’t deny him from his mate” he said with a wicked voice.

“He must miss his luna to much” David said thinking he was talking about Courtney “I said Mate not luna I found my second chance mate” his beta smirked at that he didn’t like Courtney she was too simple for their pack she didn’t want them to treat the omegas the way they did.

David was like Eric he taught omegas were weak and worthless he was just as cunning as his alpha most of the pack members were “congratulations alpha can’t wait to have our new luna I hope she won’t be like your ex.”

“don’t worry we will mold her our way she is young, and we will bend her to our will” Eric responded.

Eric licked his lips at the thought of having her for himself but this time he will wait until she turns eighteen, he is more mature and can wait.

The rest of his warriors arrived waiting for Erics and his betas instructions, “what should we do alpha” one of his men said.

“Surround the area, but don’t move until I tell you” He answered, “but what if they run away” “if they try to run off will chase them, let my mate and her lover go focus on the young female she is the one I want.”

The male nodded to his alpha and ordered the other men to hide and surround the place Eric stood there hidden looking at the two who were going into his cells.

It would be easier to catch them there but that would be no fun. He wants to see the fear on their face when they try to escape. He wants them to have hope to crush it with his hands. He would give them a head start then chase after them to get his paws on sweet Nataly.
