11. Phone call

After some time , I get inside house,to try to convince dad.

They all were finished with their breakfast .

As soon they see me

" Amy , come have your breakfast ! " Mom speaks

" I am hungry mom ! " I answered

" Dad please , just give me some more time ! I don't wanna marry so soon "I cried

" Amy , my decision is final " he stated

" Mom please tell dad-" I was cutt of by mom with

" Amy your dad is right , it's good for you ! I am with him "

" Mom , you always do this , tell me have you ever taken my side , you always support him ....Ethan , please talk to dad , make him understand "

Ethan's face falls " I'm sorry Amy ! I can't do anything in this "

I can't believe this , this is the first time Ethan has bailed on me ,and that too when I need him the most

Tears starts from my eyes

" Ok ! You all just want to kick me out of this house , I can leave , but please dont use this pathetic excuse for that "I yell

Dad immediately answered

" Amy , it's your home , we don't plan to kick you out ,so stop this nonsense and you will marry for sure ! "

I ran from there to room .

I was in my room it was past lunch time

A knock on my door intrupted me from my deep thoughts .

I put my book and pencils down, it has really helped me to calm down .

" Amy , it's me ! Open the door !! " Jenna's voi e came from the other side of door

I lazily go to the door and open it .

" What happened ?! Have you developed this new stupid fantacy to lock yourself up in your room ?! ...Hah ?? Every second day you happen to lock yourself in your room and then I have to come and knock some sense in you ! " She tries to make my mood better with her stupid accusations

" Everything is destroyed Jenna! They all have decided to make my life hell ..."I cried

" Get a grip on yourself Amy ! " Jenna tries to console me

" I can't believe this my family is doing this with me !! can't they see it ?? ...I don't want to marry him ....hell !! I don't even wanna marry anyone "I shout

" calm down Amy ! if u don't want it ...no one can force you to do that , we'll do something ....I won't let you suffer " jenna tried to console me

but their is no way after all this I can calm down

dad was always strict but i didn't expected this from him , and my mom she didn't support me

and I can't believe even Ethan didn't support me

for what ?!

just a buisness deal !!

" we can't do anything jenna ! I've already tried everything ... they are practically kicking me out of this house "

I took a deep breath trying to control myself

" I have to marry that emotionless bastard !!"

as much as I hate this thought I know ..I don't have any other option

I have to do this

After that I tell her everything that happened in this morning , about my discussion with dad

And the result is , I have to marry no matter what . It doesn't matter if I marry that emotionless , mannerless , rude bastard or anyone else ,but I have to marry .

After some thinking , I got an idea , I know that I have no other choice than to marry but that can be delayed if Mr six packs rejects me ,I can stall some time .

So now , my only agenda is to stall some time by getting rejected by Mr two words !

Yeah , Amy you are so smart !!

I mentally pat myself for being so smart

This idea can always work , I guess it won't be that difficult to get yourself rejected .

Yes ! Get ready dad , i will make sure every guy you select for me rejects me !!

I was having a nap in the noon , when my phone rings

Jenna kicks me on my leg while turning to other side

" Amy !your phone is ringing , Pick up that damn thing !! "

I groan and pick that without checking the caller ID

" Hello ! " I answered half asleep in my sleepy voice

" Hi ! " A voice came from the other side

" Hmm " I hummed in sleep

" Amelia ?" Someone calls me from the other side

" Hmmm " I hummed again

" Is this Amelia Davis ?! " Someone questions me from the other side

I get irritated at that stupid question

" Did you really called me to ask that ?! .... No ! Its not Amelia Davis it's Jennifer Lopez !!..."

" Huh ?! " Came the response

" isn't it obvious if you call Amelia Davis she will pick up , who else would you expect to pick this damm call !" I shout at the caller getting irritated by the fact that he disturbed my peaceful sleep just to ask if i am

Amelia Davis or not !!

What the hell is wrong with people nowdays??

" So you are Amelia Davis !? " He again questions

Urrgh!!

" Do I need to show you my Id that I am Amelia Davis ?! Offcourse I am.......and did you just called me to confirm if I am Amelia Davis or not ??! " I shout angrily

He clears his throat

" No ! Its Samuel knight , I just get to know that you wanna meet me ?! " He questioned

" Who told you that ?! " I question back getting more pissed at the thought that he thinks I am dying to meet him

" Just answer me ?! " he questions immediately getting to the point

" Well , actually no ! I don't wanna meet you but I would like to get to know you ...so we can meet ! "I answered him back

" We can meet this evening !! ...I'll pick you " he stated

Pick me ?!

I don't need a ride

I can drive myself

" No thanks ! I don't need a driver , I have my own car and I also know how to drive that ...so, I can come by myself ....just text me the address and timing !! "

" Fine ! See you in this evening !" He answers

" Yaa sure !! "

Then I hung up that call without waiting for him to say anything else.

Jenna sits beside me on bed wide awake probably from my yelling at Mr. Two words .

I just wonder , perhaps he is afraid that he can loose his voice by using more words

So he always speaks in words !

" Who was that ?! You just shouted at that poor thing for nothing !! "

Jenna questions

Poor thing ??....my foot !!

" For nothing ?! He disturbed my sleep !! " I shout

Its not just small thing

" He?! " Jenna asks raising her eyebrow

" Mr dumbhead!! " I answered

" And who is that ?!" She questions again

I sigh " he is that rude , mannerless igoistic,emotionless arrogant jerk! "

" whoa! And who is this mighty man you seem to be obsessed with! "

I scoff " obsessed My foot ! He is my so called soon to be husband ! "

She asked surprised " Samuel knight?! "

I nod

" And why were you so hyper ?! And why dumbhead ?! "

" He was just talking nonsense after waking me up ! ....besides he always speaks in words , so he is as good as dumb , infact at first ,I literally thought that he is dumb !! " I laughed

She joined me

" But don't you think that was too much ! I mean he is your fiancee ! You should be polite !! "

" That is the an another reason ,why I shouted .I want him to reject me !! "
