17. Practice

My feet are still swollen but no one cares ......I think

They still want me to go for dress fitting .

God that is too tiring ...to wear such a long gown it takes too much of energy and then the most difficult part when you have to walk .

God !!

Last time , when I go for dress fitting ,that was almost week ago or so , that dress was loose .

So the main point is , I have to go again.

So here I am, in the fitting room , struggling hard to get in this white fitting dress that looks stunning but its takes hell of an energy to be in it .

I mean ,this is so long ... literally long , why they have to waste so much cloth .it's so long ....I am practically sweeping the floor with it .

It fits me perfectly ,shows my curves

But ,if by any chance ,my foot get struck in this gown

I don't that to happen

But I'm sure it will happen

I will be a show for everyone .

" Its perfect !! You look gorgeous Amy !! " Jenna cries.

" Well ,thank you ! Can I change this now , I am not so acquained in this...you got it right? "

Jenna raises his eyebrows questioning me

" I mean ...I am not feeling comfortable in this ...it's so ...so " I stopped not getting a suitable word to describe my feelings and then I add"large"

She rolls her eyes

" Its obvious Amy ! No girl wears a bridal gown everyday ...it's your first time wearing it ...and this makes everyone nervous ! "

Okay ! So that's not weird !

I thought ,it is only happening with me .

After a tiring week , I was free for some time to rest

I just sprawl on the couch in hall .I was too tired to Climb stairs so I can land in my room

So I landed in hall instead of my room .

Well ,what can I say I am a lazy ass

Well , I do need rest ,I have a long day tomorrow , that gonna turn my life into my worst nightmare .

Well , actually I am gonna live my nightmare tomorrow .

Whoah ! I really have guts .

" Hey ! Get up , who told you to sprawl here like a drunk ass!" Jenna kicks me hard.

" Please Jenna ! I'm really very tired ...and in no mood for your dramas "

" Amy get up ! You really need some practice ! " It was mom

" Practice for what ??! " I question

Both of them hold my hands and pull me to stand on my feet then drag me in the centre .

" What's happening ?! What are you two planning to ?! " I question

" Nothing dear ! I told you ...its all for you , ....we know you well , so we just want you to practice ! "Mom says

" Practice what ?? "

" To walk ! " Jenna mocked

" Well , i think I am not a toddler for you two to teach me how to walk , and if you really think of me as a toddler then why are you all want me to marry ....that is child marriage ! That's illegal ....cancel the wedding !! !!" I shout , tring again to save my life from turning into a hell .

" Who said you are toddler ?! But you still walk as a toddler .you can fall anytime , anywhere , and that too without any reason ! "Jenna speaks

" I didn't ask for your advice !! " I snapped back

" We want you practice to walk in heels ! You have to walk down the aisle tomorrow ...and we dont want you to trip on your wedding that too infront of everyone !I don't want anyone to laugh at you !! Only I have that right ! " Jenna explains

Okay so they want me to practice to walk .

well , that's easy ....I can do that

Aww!How much they care for me ....mom , Jenna I love you

But wait a sec ...did I hear right

Walk in HEELS !!!!

Are they kidding me

" Wait ....you want me to walk in heels?! "

They both nodded

There is a pair of white pumps in Jenna's hand

"Wear this ! Its for you , they match with your gown perfectly ! "she speaks

" NO ! No way ! ....I am not wearing that ! " I shout

" Yes ! You are honey ! " Mom speaks

" No way in freakish hell ... I'm wearing these deathtraps .... I've told you earlier Jenna ! I wont wear these death traps ...not even at my own wedding !! "I shout

She takes a deep breath " I also told you that I won't let you wear sneakers on your wedding ! Nobody do that ...no one ! "Jenna retorts

" So let me be the first one ....I will make a new record ! " I smile

" No way ! Amy wear it " Mom orders

" But mom! " I whin

" No buts ...it's for your own good"

And I don't see how?

" Mom ,it's not good ...it's a death sentence ! Do you want your girl to walk aisle with a broken leg , fractured rib or may be an open skull ?! " I question

" That's the reason , we want you to practice ! If you'll practice today ! You'll be able to walk properly without tripping ! " Mom says again

" For walking tomorrow properly ...I have to be in one piece for tomorrow ...and with these plans of yours ...i am not sure I'll be able to make it till tomorrow ... probably, I'll be in a hospital till next hour !!"

" Amy ! Nothing is gonna happen like that ! Now get your feet in this " Jenna makes me wear that dangerous item .

I stand with the support of Jenna , I hold her tight but my legs shaking , my feet glued to the floor .

" Calm down Amy ! We're here , we won't let you fall ! Now relax and stand on your own , leave me ! " Jenna says

" Well , I don't have much confidence in you ! ....and can't you see me , my legs are shaking if I let you go I'll fall for sure ! "

" You won't ! " Mom says

" Listen to me both of you ladies very carefully !! My whole weight is on these pencils ( I say referring to the pointed heels ) how I am supposed to walk on freaking pencils ! ....and If I fall that I will for sure ....I will personally hold you two responsible for my opened skull , with fractured rib and broken leg !!." I said slowly leaving Jenna's hand .

I kept my arms outstretched to balance and glued my already glued feet to the floor .

" Good ! " They both says in unison

" Now take a little step ! " Jenna recommends

" Take WHAT ?! " I shout

" You aint a bird that you can fly or an alien so you can teleport ... offcourse you have to walk and for that ,you have to take a step !"

She says as it's as easy as eating a cake .

But it isn't ...

Atleast for me ! It isn't the easiest thing to do in the whole world .

" Its not that easy ! " I said

" Offcourse it is ! Its just your fear ! " Mom says

I close my eyes and take a step , as my feet touches the floor again that heel twists with that my knee also

" Ah !! "I screamed closing my eyes.Mom and Jenna hold me before I kiss the floor

" I told you , we won't let you fall " Jenna says

Dad and Ethan came running to hall .

" What happened ?!Amy are you alright ?! " Dad says literally concerned to guts .

" Yeah dad ! I am fine ...for right now ...but dont know if I'll be after next hour ....these two ladies has killing plans for me ! " Dad hugs me

" Oh baby ! My princess , I'll not let anything happened to you ! " Dad says still hugging me tight

I hug back smiling

I never realised that dad loves me so much .

" I'm sure you will protect me from every danger in the world ...but you can't save me from this deathtraps !" I said to dad

" What deathtraps ! " Dad questions

I pointed at me heels

He smiles " you don't need to wear that if you don't want to ! " Dad smiles

" What ? " Mom shouts

"My princess will wear what she wants " dad says

" Dad you really saved me from my death today !! " I said while hugging him

Everyone burst into fits of laughter !!
