21. settling in

I was sleeping peacefully when I heard a loud irritating noise

RING

RING

RING

There is no shortage for my sleep enemies in this world .

I groan loudly and move my hand to my bedside table , where my enemy would be shouting .

But something feels different .

I ignored that and tried to reach for that irritating thing but that has already stopped .

I smiled inwardly and drifted to sleep again.

After a beautiful dream , well actually not after in between a beautiful dream I heard some faint voices of door opening, but no one woke me up ,I also sensed someone's presence , a gaze but I ignored it thinking I am only being paranoid .

Sun rays tingle my faces , forcing me to open my eyes , but I turn my face ignoring them .

But then I realised , from when sunrays started reaching to my bed .

I clearly remember , twelve years before I exchanged my room with Ethan just because of these sunrays .I literally fought with him for exchanging my room with him .

We have our rooms in opposite directions , his room enjoys sunrise,while I love to see sunset from my window .

My eyes snapped open and I immediately sit on bed.

As soon my eyes flutter open and realisation hit me , I am not in my room .

This is not my room!

This is not my home !

And I came face to face with the person responsible for this , he was buttoning his shirt up .

I think he is going somewhere .

Thank god ! That means I don't have to tolerate him for the whole day .

Atleast , something good is happening today , I can spend my day with Auntie Grace peacefully and take my plan into action

He looks at me muttered something to him and then continue his work .

I sighed , and then I look around the room , I was so tired last night to even look at this room .

I saw his room , he has good taste .

Not bad .

I was sitting on his giant bed to my left there was a giant mirror almost as big as wall , and to my left there was a sliding door to the balcony which was open .

I looked in the mirror , and groaned at my look , he is looking a greak god infront of me and on the other hand I am carring a bird's nest on my head ....I step out from his bed and move the bathroom ...

I open the bathroom door and enter in ,

He literally designed his bathroom , I guess .

Well not bad , a bathtub is must in a washroom .

I think he is obsessed with himself , he has so many mirrors .

He has a small glass shower room .

I get inside and again a mirror .

I chuckle mentally .

After a quick bath , I moved out because I woke really late today .

As my mom told me not sleep like a pig here and get up early.

But woking up early in the morning , is a thing that is beyond possible for me .

It was already 8 in morning , I wore a simple red  dress and head downstairs for breakfast .

As I reached the dinning area , I shout " good morning Everyone ! "

Uncle and Auntie smiled and said in unison " good morning dear ! "

I smiled and hugged Auntie " sorry , I am late "

Auntie smiled " oh don't be !! Sam told me not to woke you up , you were tired "

My eyes snapped to him but he was eating his breakfast like it's the last thing in the world .

He behaved as it's very casual , and not even grant a glance at me .

Uncle speaks " let's have breakfast ! "

Atleast someone waited for me .

Auntie and uncle was so sweet , they loved me as their own daughter , and forced me to eat .

I was giggling with Auntie when Mr six packs got up " I am leaving ! " He said standing up

" To where ?! " Uncle intrupted

" Office dad , I've a meeting ! " He answers

I smiled inwardly

" Cancel it " uncle ordered

" But why dad?! "

" Why ? Really ! You just got married yesterday and you are going office ?! "

" So what I got married ?! It doesn't mean I can't go to office ?! "

" You can't , atleast not today ! Help your wife to settle in !" He announced

I almost chocked on my food but controlled myself.

So much for a better day !!

After breakfast , I came back into his room.

One thing I have noticed about his room is , he has seperate areas or I can say corners for everything .

He has divided his room into different areas .

On the left side is bathroom while on the right is closet .

I looked at so much of boxes in his room.

My luggage , did I really packed so much of my stuff.

Well , never mind !

Now , I will snatch his space from him , I smiled inwardly .

Looking at my luggage he muttered something but I didn't get it .

Well , I don't care.

He opened the door of his walk in closet .

As I entered , I see his neatly ironed suits hanged there in places .

Everything was clean and on place , a round white fluffy sitter was there.

A sliding mirror door .

I mentally facepalmed myself .

So much of mirrors .

One servent placed all my luggage in his closest, they also offered to settle it in but I refused.

Then I open boxes one by one .

Most stuff that I have brought are my gifts .

I wasn't able to leave my any gift behind .

I have brought pair of dresses, jumpsuit , jeans and tops with me , while a small collection of my favourite sneakers with some other footwears .

I have one box for my accessories , which are mostly gifted by Ethan or Jenna .

While all my belongings were settled in , there were six boxes of my books .

From which three were filled with my drawing books .

I move out of closet and see him on his laptop typing .

A new side of Mr dumbhead ....

Mr Workoholic !!

I move to him " where do I place my books ?! " I asked him .

" Books ?! Are you still studying ?! " He asked me confused .

Do I tell him or not ?!

Why should I ?!

And by the way ,I am done with my online studies .

So there is no need to

" No ! I am not ,....I like reading books !" I said to him confidently .

He looks at me amused .

" You can place them on my study... As I moved here recently , my study is almost empty " he answered .

I smiled and he showed me his study room .

A study table was placed in the centre

There were shelves on the wall ,

I settled my books there and placed all my drawings in tothe drawers and locked them .

So he won't be able to see them .

I was so tired now .

And it's late also I think I should take a nap .

And I doze off

I woke up , to some noise .

I rubbed my eyes slowly and move to my right for bathroom without opening my eyes.

And suddenly i bumped into the wall ,and i wait to fall on the cold floor .

But as far I remember my bathroom is still few steps away.

But I was holded by pair of strong arms .

" Watch it " he said and help me on my feet .

I looked at him

Mr dumbhead .

And I thought I was in my room .

I guess ,It will take me some time to settle here.
