40. Trust

Third person's POV

Next morning , they both were cuddled together .when the alarm rings , as usual Sam carefully leave bed without disturbing her beauty sleep and replaced himself with pillow.

He goes for his workout

Amelia was getting ready for breakfast when her phone rings ,she wondered who could that be ??

She pick up the call when she saw caller ID

" Hello Claire ! It's been so long that hear from you ! Got any trouble ??! " I ask

" Yea, it's been long ... actually I got strict instructions from Mr. Davis not to disturb you and I really don't wanted to intrupt ,and I wouldn't have contacted yet but that project is almost done and we need your signatures so I was just wondering if you have time so I can ...you know ??! ".she trailed off and I smiled she will never change , always panics for small things .

" Don't worry ! I'll drop by, I am pretty much bored being free all the time ! Infact , I can rejoin office now , yea...it's been a month and I can come now !! Thank you Claire to call , I'll see you soon in office ...oh wow ! Am so exited to go office again !!"

I really forgot that I can join office now ...i.dont have to sit home and watch Netflix all the time ...okay I know that I don't like my job much but that is far far more good  to sprawl on sofa and watch Netflix for the whole day .

She laughs softly , " you are so happy to join again ....I'll get every thing ready for you miss Davis "

" Oh come on claire ! It's the last time I telling you call me Amelia ! Or else I'll fire you !!" I threatened which doesn't sound like a threat at all.

" Okay Mis- I mean Amelia ! " I laugh and hang the call up

I see Mr.dumbhead looking at me from looking handsome as always in his Navy suit .

" You looks happy today ! " He says as he wore his watch .

" Because I am !" I smile widely

He looks curious " can I know the reason ?!"

" I am joining office today !! " I make my way towards closet

" I guess, you like doing work ??"

" Yea...I do " as I found a dress for today

" Breakfast is ready !! Come let's eat first , then I'll drop you off ! "He offers

" Oh no ! You don't have to ...I'll manage and you said you have a meeting today , so go ...or you'll get late ! "

" Yea....but that meeting is at 3 ...it get rescheduled !! " He shrugged

" Okay ! Let's have breakfast  first ! Am hungry !! " We moved out of room  and to have breakfast .

After breakfast he left for his office while I head back tk room and get ready .

I got ready in a light blue shirt with matching skirt ,I quickly applied some gloss . I let my hairs free ,I paied them.withy brown gladators ....

Then I head to office in my car.

On the other hand , Sam was working in his office but he was being disturbed from her long lost crush Rose.

This was the moment , he regretted to contact her agin after so many years .

She head been calling him almost daily asking him to meet her , while he doesn't want anything with her ...but he also felt wrong for avoiding her , as he was the one to approach her after so many years and was planning to use her .

But that was it ,he just planned but didn't use her.

Even if he did , it would her shot . He obviously wouldn't force her to marry him .

But this girl , she's being clingy and nit leaving him . He told her so many times that he is busy , he can't meet , doesn't have time .

Basically , he means he don't want to meet her ....but still that girl doesn't get a thing in her thick skull .

So now he is pissed , and letting all his anger on her PA Angela .

" What is this ??! You call this report ??! They have so many problems in this !!...do I am here to correct every damm single thing ! ....why do I pay you all ??! " He shouted

" Ss- orry sir , I'll handle this ! " She stutter .

" Please ! ....and get me a coffee ! " it's the 3rd coffee he has from the morning .

Amy meets everyone there ... everyone greets her and she reciprocate all with a huge all on her face.

As she has joined after so long so she goes to inform her boss means her dad .

As she reach to cabi. She greets uncle Zach , her dad's PA .

" Hello uncle Zach ! I hope you are good ! Is da- I mean Mr. Davis free ...I am rejoining today , so thought about reporting him ." I smile .

" Hello Amy dear , I am fine ! And your dad is free right now ...you can meet him ! "

He smiles ...but it's weird ! Why is dad free ??!

So I knock and open the door and his room was already filled , I found my parents and in- laws there

What is going on in here?!

Are they planning something again !!

I smile and greet them all

" Hello everyone !! Am I intrupting something ??! " I ask awkwardly

They all laugh at me .

" No my baby ! Come here and gimme a hug ! " My mom smiled

So I ran and hug her .

I meet everyone one by one and then dad asks

" Amy what are doing here ??! "

" Oh ! I forgot to tell you ! I am rejoining today...so I was here to report you ! " I smiled

Papa said " my daughter doesn't need to work here! "

My smile faded at his words

Oh no !

That's the reason I hate marriages

Can't I do what I want

Now they want me to be a

freaking housewife

" Because she got transferred !! " That was mumma , and a smile again made a way to my lips .

That means I still can work .

But little much I know what they all mean by transferred

" Yea, you will work with knights know ! You are the cheaf head of our marketing team on this new project ! ....so you'll work from there now on ! " Dad explained

" but dad , it's a mega projects ! I mean it's a huge deal ...and I am still new to all this ....I don't think I ca"

Papa cuts me off with " you can ! I know ....you are a knight now ! ...we all trust you !...and here Joseph told me , you've always been so good in your job ,and I checked all the products that you have handled ...you are doing great ...you are perfect for this job ! "

I smiled at him , I didn't knew that I am doing this good .

I don't even like this job , but I am doing it just for my family cause they want me to ...I really worked very hard for all this .

" If you all say so !...I will do this ! " I smiled

After sometime , mumma and papa left leaving me with mom and dad.

" Amy ! Let's go to cafe , your dad has to work !! "Mom said and I nodded.

" Well , I can always postpone my work for the two most important women of my laugh !! " And we both laugh.

" That's why we are leaving !! " Mom shrugged .

I order for two latte

" so Amy , how is life after marriage??" Mom ask me

" Life has been lazy ! " I shrugged

" Amy you'll be happy ! " Mom said

" I don't know mom , when I'll be happy ! Because I can't figure this out how you hope for me to be happy while tieing me with a complete stranger " I try not to shout .

" Amy ! Calm down ...he is good boy ,I know hell protect you , keep you happy !! "

"  I know, he is good  , That's the sole reason I am with him !! " I answer honestly cause he has been good .if some other man would be on his place he would probably has run for hills after a whole month torture .I smile rembering our little cute pranks and fights .

" That smile says that you like him ! " Mom said and  I snap.my eyes ato her.

" No ! It's not like that ...it's just ...I don't know ! " I couldn't find correct words.

" I understand ! I've been through this stage ! " She smile

" Mom , that was different.,you two were friends , you knew each other ! But we were complete stranger ...I don't know anything about him !! " I answer honestly

" Amy , nothing makes a difference ! I agree we were friends , but we never saw each other more than that ....this thought never crossed our mind ever ...I met him through Logan  and you can't imagine when  we were married , it was so so different for us ....I think being strangers is good than that . But one thing that we knew was we are married and we can't just ignore this ....we knew we need time to accept ...and we took our time ....the most important thing in a marriage is trust , you've to trust him before you love him ....and you can trust him

A marriage can work without love ....but not without trust . Amy marriage is a sacred bond ....and you should respect it , take your time , but just give it go ..... Just trust him , trust your relationship .... it'll take time maybe some month or a year or two but you'll fall for each other....but first you have to trust each other "

Her every word hits me .sh is right . We can't just ignore that we are married . We have to face reality .and it's high time we face it .

I can't play games anymore

Amy ! Grow up .

You're married now !

But one thing , that I knew was trust

" I trust him, mom ! Or else I would've never moved with him"

" Good ! Just take your time Amy ! I know it's not easy....

You know , your dad never wanted you to get married ! It was a very difficult decision for him ....if it was not for Sam then your dad would never let you marry to anyone "

I smiled " yaa , i think I can guess ...he was always  against me dating anyone !! "

And we both laughed .
