chapter 47

AMELIA's POV

After some time when he calm down , we head to his fashion department .... to find if we can see any thing that can help.to find that bloody traitor , but there was nothing we can find , they checked CCTV and we got to know about that Camera in that room was not working from past two days . For which he shouted at every single person present there.

I don't blame him .he is right , he don't pay all his employees to be lazy ass and chill out in working hours

I suggested him to check some rejected designs again , so if we can use them with mild moderation .

I was actually surprised when he smiled at my attempt to help him and bought it.

When I digested this fact , so I thought I can help him more in this matter as it's my obsession .

And I know pretty much about fashion word.

We came to mu cabin which is on the same floor as his .

He did frown when I passed his cabin and dragged him towards mine but kept his mouth sealed.

I made him sit on the chair and he complied.

I pull out a file and pass it to him , he frowned.

" This file consist information about some good designers ,I think it'll help you ....you can hire someone from them " I put my thoughts forword with the file.

He took that and go through the content. He firstly frowned but didn't questioned me , for which I was thankful . I've never told anyone about dream , and these all was my homework , as wanted to learn this from one of them . So I can acheive dreams , but was  never able to tell anyone what I have actually wished to be .

He was about to say something , when their was a knock on door and a girl appears in with a drawing book in her hands.

" Sir , these are some designs ,you can ha- " she was not even able to complete her sentence when Mr dumbhead spurred in his grumpy voice

" Let me see ! " And grabbed that drawing from her hands.

He looked at them appreciatively , and turned the page to next.

It was impossible for me to sit in my chair , so I stand behind him, for which he shows no reactions of un-liking .

As I take a look on that design to study , I found something weird .

" Don't feel offended dear these designs are very beautiful but don't you think these look  exactly similar to the new collection of Ella Geller ( I just made this name up ....and if you find any famous or infamous designer with a similar identity that is totally a coincidence ) ....I agree she is very good at her work but we can't steal her designs ideas , that are good  for inspiration ... We need to do something new !! "

Till then I was finished I found Mr dumbhead was looking at me as if I have grown an another head.

" Yes mam ! I will work on some new designs !! " She said and was about to move out when I stopped her.

" Wait ! Use these if it help you come up with some good ideas !!"

I pull out my drawing book , on which I scribble to his week cause I was really confused . This two week has been in chaos and only drawing could get me to peace and make my mind clear.

Before she can pick that book up , Mr six packs pull that and check the designs .

Oh god ! I just draw them in frustration , what will he think of me , if he gets to know that I drew them all.

I don't want h to know that I am terrible at this .... So what do I do ?? What will say now ??

Oh yeah !

He don't know these are mine ....and if I don't tell him then he will never get know .

Yeah !!

That's good !

" Amy we can't steal someone's design , we need something new as you said !! " He says to me

Oh great Einstein !!

I roll my eyes at him " No ! These designs are just ....you know ! These are not launched, so you can use them if you want !! " I didn't knew what to say .

He raised his brow at me

" How did you get these ??! "

Oh really ?? What does he think of me that I am a thief , who steal  designs !!

I thought I look more innocent .

" These are one of my friend's? yeah !! " I said to him which seems like a question to my own ears.

But he seems to buy that and I sighed in relief .

" That's good ! Give me her cell ...I'll talk to her , so we can use them !! "

My eyes goes wide , he wants to use them !! But why ??

Those are just some simple design

But the biggest problem here is  is from where do I show her my imaginary friend and her imaginary cell number .

" I don't think these are good enough to use , I just proposed them for some new ideas " and the look on his face told me that he is not buying my crap even a cent  so I continued " but if you want to use them , you can !! She doesn't have any problem !! "

" I will send them to my head designer for a final check !!....and I need to talk to her even if she has no problem ,I still need to pay her for her designs !! "

WHAT !!

Where does I got  land myself into ??! Someone help me please.

Which friend am I supposed to introduce him as her new found designer . How the hell I tell him that I am the one who own that drawing .

I was still in my thoughts when I see his smiling face , which got me outof my thoughts .

" Amy ! Why didn't you tell me about this earlier ?? "

Did I said it out aloud ??

" You are just great !! .... Deniz approved the designs and she wants me hire your friend ! So give me her details "

Can this day become any more great ??!

I stayed silent , not able to answer him anything !

Wait !! Deniz ??

" Your head designer is Deniz !!....as in DENIZ MARCOS !!" I questioned with wide eyes.

Offcourse it is big deal !! She is one of the best designer and also my favourite !! I always wished to learn from her. She is my inspiration .

" Yes ! " He says non Chantily as if is not a big deal.

Man ! Did you come from another planet ?!

" Now give her details , we don't have time "

Why is he stuck on this like a broken taperecorder.

" You have the best designer ! So why do you want her , she is nothing in compare to her !! She hasn't even had her internship , she is not professional designer and here you need a talented and  amazing designer , who'll just scribble in a paper and ta-da ! You got a gorgeous design !! "

He raised his brows at me and looked at me in a questioning gaze

"don't you want me to hire her ??"

I shook head " she don't want this !! "

His questioning gaze becomes more intense

" You didn't even talked to her and you are saying this like we are talking about you ! "

Oh shit !

Was it that obvious ??

I was still thinking when his eyes goes wide

" These are yours .... Yo- you draw them all ?? " He questions me

My eyes flutter closed . This is all it . My secret is no longer a secret .

" When ?....how ....I mean you ...you didn't tell me ...I didn't knew !!" He was stuttering and was obviously confused .

I took a deep breath , I knew this is all it , my secret is out and I have to accept it

" No one knows about it ....i always wanted to be a designer and I started it about two and half years ago !! "

" Why didn't you tell anyone ?? You could have been a great designer , why did you kept it a secret ??! " He questioned

I sunk in  my seat " I never had  that courage , dad always said he wanna see me and Ethan handling his business together. From the beginning , he said that he wants us to take his level to another level ....and I wanted my dad to be proud of me ,I wanted to see that satisfaction in his eyes ...so I opt for buisness and here I am !! "

He comes near me and cup my cheek softly , " Amy .... He would have proud you even if you become a designer.he loves you and he would want you to follow your  dream .....he wants you to be successful in your life , it doesn't matter if you are a buisness woman or a fashion designer !!....He would be more than happy if you'd have persued  your dreams !! "

I smile weakly at him .

I am such a dumbo !! I know my dad loves me more than anyone else in the world but why didn't i decided to tell him about my dreams.

Simple! Cause you are dumbest person of the whole world !! My subconsciousness sneers at me.

But ,I  just wanted him to be proud at me , I always wanted to achieve his dreams .

My dreams seems too small infront of my dad

" But I wanted to fulfill his dreams !! So I did all this , and I dropped this idea but after some time when I couldn't stop myself , I got enrolled myself into an  online course ....and I studied all this !! I thought what If I can't become a designer but I can learn this and that was enough for me.!! But slowly it turned into something else , i forgot everything when I draw, it makes me feel happy , at peace !!"

He carassed my hairs and kissed my head " I am happy that you didn't give up on your dream !!...now you can fulfill you own dream ! ....now ,  You will design for this show !! "

Did I hear it right ??

He wants me to design.

No ! That can't be possible .

I am obviously hearing things !!

There is no way I am doing this !!
