AMELIA's POV

I stand with Amy backstage , it's time now.

No 8 girl walks out from my sight and after a moment when she takes her position on stage no 10 moves .

And here I am shaking  , my no is 12 ,the last one ...after cami.

I just hope ,I don't mess things up.

I do t wanna trip and embarrass myself and more importantly Sam .he trusted me with everything , today I am representing not only me, but also him and his company.

And I can't take chances with that.

Please god help me just this one time.

Please don't let me fall.

" Amy you're not gonna fall , trust me ! And why are you so scared ....you walked aisle at your wedding in heels with that long gown ,it's nothing as compared to that "she had a nerve to compare this to my wedding.

" Those heels were not pointed like pencils besides both dad and Ethan were holding me to on my feet " I retorted as I remember my wedding.

" Just think no one is watching you....you are alone and everything will end before you know it "

" How can I think I am alone when tone of lights would be on me ?! " I retorted.

" Shut up both of you ....cami go it's your turn ! " Aiden scold us both .

Oh no !

It's mine turn now !!

What am gonna do ?!

You gonna walk you idiot! My subconsciousness yells at me

Oh yea! I know ,I have to walk.

Amy you gonna do this fine , you are not gonna fall , just trust yourself .

You are not a toddler to fall on your first step , you are grown up ....it's just your fears ,you can't let them take on you.

You will do this just fine .

No you gonna rock this now .

I took a deep breath and walk on my cue

As I step my foot on the stage,lights from  several directions flashes on me , and a bright spotlight enlighten me in the crowd , blinding me with too much light ....which make me close my eyes involuntarily.

" Amy open your eyes and walk ! " Aiden wispher yell from the backstage ,his face held a look of worry , I can see him from the corner of my eye , cause I haven't taken a step ahead.i am sticked to the floor like a chewing gum.

His smiling face comes in mind and his words rang in ....

"Just trust yourself as I trust you ....just be confident and everything will be over before you know "

" Just remember that i trust you , and you can handle this "

You can do this Amy .

And you will do this !

My eyes flutter open and I blink twice or may be thrice to adjust to the light.

I put a smile on my face and take my first step ever so cautiously.

I scan the crowd and my eyes lands on my family ....they all sit there she'll shocked with wide eyes.

I know , no one can ever imagine

ME opting modeling.

Me and modelling doesn't fit in a same sentence.

My eyes moves from my dad to mom followed to mumma papa and then at Ethan whose mouth is open I stuffed a chuckle ,Jenna who has her million Donner smile on her face .

I keep walking ever so slowly and cautiously with grace that I didn't knew I have ,or where it came .

I was simply grateful for that

My eyes moved from jenna to max who gives me a appreciating  smile with two thumbs up .

Then my eyes lands on a person and refused to move away.

He was surprised to see me , but he looked so happy and proud .

Happiness was glittering in his eyes ,  as he looked at me with so much affection .....

adoration ?

There was something in his eyes very strong but I can't put a finger to it.

Finally my walk came to an  end, I gave the same pose cami tought me just like five minutes ago.

I stand on that exact spot with the same pose carring a  million dollar smile

and thanked inwardly to the holy spirit for controlling my ever so entertaining abilities.

While I maintain to stand in those pointed pencil like deadly creations , other girls started moving .

They started moving with a grace and walked backwards while they back faces the crowd and then they take a position ever so graciously at stage .

I noted there way of taking a position , right now five girls were in the left while other five on the right.

Cami moved with a smile and she also join that other girls .

I moved my legs and walked carefully to join the girls while swaying my hips just like Brittany ....and cringed mentally from mimicking her .

But she swayed her hips more that I can ever manage.

I stand beside cami.

A girl , who I recognise as Sam's PA ...what was her name again,

Angel??Angelena??

No Angela !!

She speaks in a mike .

" So ladies and gentlemen give a big round of applause for this amazing new collection by  knights "

Her words were followed by claps and Sam comes on the stage .

He smiled at me and " I would like to thank you all to delight our efforts with your presence here ! ....and to appreciate a great work

you all can see in the form of this  gorgeous new collection here ! "

It was followed by a blinding round of applause.

A man with a mike stands whom I assume is a  reporter starts

" congratulations Mr knight ....on the  launch of this gorgeous collection , as usual you always have the best to offer.... And it's obvious as have the best designer Deniz Marcos with you , but from some sources we found she isn't present today, infact she's been out from quite a long time , is she not working anymore with you ??! "

How the hell these people get to know ,every single damm thing ?

Does they keep stalking all the buisness tycoons??!

Probably!! My subconsciousness agrees.

I came back from my reverie when a flash clicks and realise that Mr six packs is now standing too close to me with a smiling face gawking at me .

" For some reasons Deniz wasn't able to make it for today, but you've got some wrong information from your sources , Deniz is a friend and she always will be ....she isnt going anywhere ....and" he looks down at me was about to continue when an another man spokes

" but We heard that this collection is isn't from Deniz and you have got a new designer, who is still a mystery to world ....but from the looks we can get it , you've got an another great designer with you....and somehow  this proves that Deniz isn't with knights anymore! "

" Well ,you are right ! This collection belongs to a very talented designer , which isn't Deniz ! ....but it doesn't proves that Deniz has part her ways with knights , she has been great help from the beginning till now ! " He replies.

A girl reporter questions

" Then who is your new designer?? "

Oh my god !

This is the moment .

They are talking about me !

My heart beats so fast as if ready to pounce out of my ribcage any moment now .

Sam got a hold of my hand , relaxing me immediately...my heart goes back to its normal speed .

It seems to be dream , how can he do this with just a simple touch.

" I was dying for this moment to come ! " He mutters slowly so only I can hear.

" I will be honoured to Introduce you all to my very talented new designer.....( He glances at me with a reassuring smile ) ....I am very glad and proud to introduce you all the very talented designer of this gorgeous collection ....meet Amelia Samuel knight , my wife .....this whole  collection solely belongs to her" He wraps an arm around my waist as I am being introduced as a designer to the world.

Loud gasps were heard from the crowd ,my eyes lands on my family who have a proud look on their face accompanied by a huge surprise .

Soon the gasps turns into claps .

And Sam take a step ahead his a on my waist urging me to move along with him as I take step in urgency ,my ankle twist making me gasp which has probably grab his  attention as his hold tightens on my waist

As my ankle twist ,my knees buckles

And I know what is gonna happen now.

My biggest fear !

I am gonna fall on my face infront of the paps and they will telecast very little yet entertaining stunt on every single damn news channel making me talk of the city.

I wait to touch the cool floor but warm a arm snakes around my knees ....

Soon I float in air.

I open my eyes to see Mr Six packs smiling gorgeously at me.

He walks on the ramp with me in his arms and the crowd make some sounds like " awwww" and deafening claps .

My arms makes their way to his neck and I return the smile looking only at him.

I didn't realise what happened after that. I was just stating at him .

He is so supportive , he trust me so much, he gave me strength, make me calm , makes me laugh...he is so so ....I dont know !...I can't explain how good  he is .

I mean I don't have enough words to explain , What he did meant the world to me.

Soon I was backstage with cami, she keeps talking nonstop but I wasnt paying any heed...my mind was somewhere else....and  I wouldn't even had knows she is talking  if it it wasn't for her continuously moving mouth.

I changed back into the dress cami brought for me today.

When I came back my eyes land on my phone which was ringing.

" Hello ?!" I answer as I didn't noticed the caller ID

" Hey Amelia ! Congratulations on your first collection launch ....it is amazing why didn't you go into designing at first , you are amazing at that....it's all over the news ! " My PA claire's voice came from the other side sounding really very happy .

But what did she say ....it's all over the news .

" Thanks Claire but what are the reviews ....I didn't check anything ?! "

" Where in the world you are?? ..... everyone are talking about you and your gorgeous collection and oh my god ....you were looking drop dead gorgeous  today ! "

" Thank you Claire " I mutter not realise what else to say ....

That means every one liked my work .

Oh my god !

It's amazing ,am so happy !

" Oh stop thanking me ....it's all your hardwork ! ....okay I'll talk to you later ,I have handle this phone now , everyone's channel wants an interview with you ! " She says I'm urgency and I hear a ringing telephone in the background.

" Okay claire!"

I hung up on her.

Wow ! I did it .

Yeah!

I was so happy that I really started  dancing toy own

I didn't notice that how long I have been dancing but suddenly I felt a gaze on me ...and I kinda know who I watching me

I turn my head to see a grinning Sam watching me with amusement.

I didn't think twice to ran towards him , his eyes firstly goes wide as I ran and hugged the life  out of him as my life depend on him he  became stiff for a moment but then he smiles and wraps his arms around me.

( P.S - refer to the gif on the dashboard at the beginning of chapter....and yeah pls ignore that lady and assume that hottie blue eyes to be Sam as in Nick Bateman...well a quick question - give a guess from where I came with  🔥blue eyes ! ....just try it won't harm your braincells ! 😉 )

I didn't let him go at first, then I shouted to him

" I did it ! "

I can feel a smile on his face.

Without pulling  apart from him ,I turn my head and kiss his cheek as I was already in my tip toes.

His eyes go wide, but I don't care anymore!

I hug him again mumble " I did it ! " Again

After sime time when I pull apart.

He doesn't let go of me and stares deep in my eyes, I couldn't turn away ....my hands refuse to leave him.

Without realising what I am doing ....I slammed my lips on his.

I pull him closer to me, he goes stiff the moment I my lips touch ed his but without wasting another second he kiss me back, he pulls me closer if it's even possible .

A gasp escapes from my mouth as his arm tighten around me and he enters into my mouth, devouring each and every corner.

We kissed in urgency with so much passion, he refused to leave me even for a second .

When I  struggled to breath he lets go of me and joined our heads we both panting with eyes closed.

And inthe next moment he kisses me again for a brief second as if trying to assure himself it really happened.

I continue to be in his embrace when realisation dawn upon me

What I did !!

I literally kissed him!

I mean ....I KISSED HIM!!

What would he be thinking about me ??!

I slightly pulled away already missing his warmth

I look at him for a brief moment and stuttered " I -I Am-" he stops me with a finger on my lips

" Sshh , don't you dare to say sorry right now !! " He announced.

I looked at him confused

" I wasn't going to say that ! "

He cocks his brow at me is if saying ' oh really ?....I don't think so ! '

" I mean ....why would I be sorry to kiss my own husband ....you're already my property ! " I blurted without realising what the hell I am speaking

He chuckles

" Right ! ....am your property !! "

And now I got what the hell I said just now .

Then I tried to explain my self

" Uh- no ! Thats not what I meant ....you're definitely not a property .....It's just that I was so happy today and it's a because of you....I fulfilled my dream and I was so exited and when I saw you I just jumped on you...and and I got carried away! " I rambled on while he saw me with amusement dancing in his eyes and controlled himself from laughing.

" In that case ....I would make you happy like this daily ....so you got carried away !! " He smirked

And I blush ....hard .

I hit him on his chest and hid my face again in his chest to avoid him looking at my now tomato resembling face.

He chuckles " you're too cute and innocent ! "

I met my family after that ,my dad was so much  proud of me .

Exactly what I wanted him to be but I never thought he will be this  proud of I chose my dream instead of his.

He was little hurt because I never I told him about my dreams but he said that he is happy because I never left my dreams behind.

Ethan was more than hurt because he thought he was my bestest buddy and he thinks I should have Atleast told him about this.

But he can't be upset with me for a long time as it's only took me to shedd two drops of crocodile tears and he is back to his caring and loving  brother mode from angry and hurt brother mode .

Well honestly speaking , they were not crocodile tears as I was really sad when he said he doesn't wanna talk to me.

Cami and Jenna were sad but understood when I explained and they were happy for me.

Cami danced in happiness where Jenna cried, blaming her pregnancy hormones!

Whatever it was but it was amazing  to be with me overly sensitive and out of the world family.
