8. The announcement

As , we move towards the dance floor , i can feel pair of eyes staring at us .

At the dance floor , my eyes meet with Ethan dancing with Jenna as his eyes met mine , his expressions changes .

And I became self conscious ,that I can't dance

Because I don't know How to , dad never let me dance with any guy ,other than Ethan and I always end up stepping on his feet while dancing

Can't blame myself because one , I don't know how to dance and secondly

Hello!! Am clumsy !

So I said that same thing which come in my mind

" I don't know , how to dance "

As much as it piss me to talk to this rude bastard who hadn't talked to me still after meeting me twice , on the top of that , he hasn't even wished me happy Birthday even after enjoying my birthday party , standing beside me while I cut the cake ,but I know I have to tell him my weakness so I don't embarrass either him or myself by falling front face while dancing with him .

I wonder ,did he come from any jungle or something , doesn't he know to how to socialize with others or he is dumb

yes!! This can be possible . I mean I don't think anyone can be this quite for such along time .

" Follow me !! "

I hear a voice and look up only to realise that my thoughts were just absurd , this man has a capability to talk and yes ! He does know how to socialize .

I feel an arm snaked around my waist and a pull which lands me on a rock solid yet soft wall .

I realise this is the same wall which was infront of my room yesterday ,but it isn't a wall.

It is six pack abs!!!

This man has freaking six pack abs !

He does workout

I put my one hand on his shoulder and he grasp my other one on his .

We move slowly with soft music .

Just now , i notice that he is handsome!

Handsome is understatement , this man is insanely handsome .

I avert my gaze from him as I remember that he is rude , mannerless , always with a straight face emotional less bastard.

Who hasn't wished me yet!!

Can anyone really imagine his mentality , he is dancing with me from crying out loud .

I feel an intense gaze on my face

" Happy Birthday !" He whispers slowly

My head snapped to him immediately, eyes widened .

Can he read my mind?!does he have some sort of psychic powers??

Firstly he answers my absurd thoughts with 'follow me ' and now...

I mutter him " thank you "

Soon the song ends to my relief and I internally thank to God and to myself to keeping my most amazing talent for some time to myself .

I was enjoying my food with Jenna when Ethan came to me

" Amy , I wanna talk to you come with me ! "

" Just five minutes bro ! Lemme eat it first "

" Amy ! Its important "

He looks very much serious .

I sigh and put my plate down .

As we take few steps to move away from the crowd

Uncle Logan called me

" Amelia , come here for a minute please "

" Just a minute uncle , I wanna talk to her about something ,it's important !! " Ethan speaks before I can

While mom intrupt him

" Ethan !!"

I step in

" Ethan ,just a minute , I'll be back "

He looks really worried ,then he sighs

" Come to me ,fast okay ?! "

I nod to him , I've never seen him this serious and worried for anything .

I move to uncle Logan , he introduce me to one of his friend who happens to be my dad's friend as well .

As soon as I get free ,I move to look for Ethan .

And my dad's voice rang through ears so

He is finally going to announce that so called deal .

Ethan must be there with him on stage

I'll talk to him after this whole announcement thing .

I sighed and then I move to where Jenna was with my other friends in the other corner of this massive hall .

" I thank you all to attend this party to celebrate my lovely daughter's birthday and as you all know I have a big announcement to make today ,

And that is Davis and knight's are going to do business together !! "

There was a round of applause rang in the massive hall .

Finding Jenna in this hall seems to be tiring and that too in heels , so I stoped to listen my dad's announcement .

And uncle Logan joins him on stage

" I know , I have always kept professional and personal life separate but you know, sometimes you have to break the rules ...and now after so many years my dear friend is back here and that too with this amazing proposal and I couldn't put him down

( i see as my dad hugs uncle Logan while paps keep questioning them about the deal )

And I have an another very big announcement to make

( what else dad have to announce ) we are going to turn our buisness relationship into family relationship .... Yes!! You all hear it right , today I announce my dear daughter AMELIA DAVIS and my best friends Logan's son SAMUEL KNIGHT 's engagement "

My eyes goes wide ,whole blood from my face drains

What the hell ?!

My engagement !!

Why don't I know about it ?!

My engagement without my concent and that too with that rude, emotionless ,cold bastard !!

No !

This can't be true !!

There is obviously something - no not something everything is wrong with my ears .

I am hearing things !!

And then suddenly a spot light falls on me

Making my nightmare comw true

And at exact that moment Mr Rude appears from nowhere and stands beside me too close for my comfort placing a hand on my back and then he practically pushes me to the stage with a smile on his smile

While he whispers to me " relax and smile "

Relax!!

How can I relax when my worst nightmare is getting true.

And secondly smile !!

I seem to forget what actually that is .

As he finally succeeds to reach to the stage with me .

There were a loud applause in the hall and that paparazzies were throwing questions which seem to be  some kind of nuclear bomb .

" When did this happen ?! "

" Is this marriage for buisness ?!"

" Do you both love each other ?! "

" When did you two met ?! "

" How did you fall in love ?? "

" When did you two decide to get marry ?? "

" When are you two getting married ?? "

My voice seem to be long gone from my throat , I was unable to speak even a word .

I answer their every question yelling back at them , offcourse in my mind

- even I don't have any idea , when my dad gets this idea to turn my life into a nightmare

- i suppose this is , from the fact that I didn't even knew my so called in love future husband.

- love ?! With this man who spokes only in two words like ' follow me ' ' Happy Birthday ' and not to forget ' relax and smile ' ....No way !!

- oh yes ! I met him yesterday while he don't even say a hello !!

So arrogant and igoistic

- fall in love ?! Impossible , how can I fall for a man who don't even wish me on my birthday , I can't fall for such a cold , rude and mannerless bastard

- this marriage bomb has given to me as my so called surprise birthday gift , which is freaking me out .

- no way in freaking hell , i am going to marry this Rude , mannerless ,igoistic , emotionless , arrogant bastard inspite of being utterly handsome .
