M.S.V P.O.V ... There Goes The Blackmail, Talking, And My Heart
I Dare You! / I Got You! {Completed}
M.S.V = Maddy, Savvy, and Vinny
Maddyâs P.O.V
I heard my bedroom door open. âMaddy, wake up. Savvy will be here in ten minutes.â My dad said. I moaned, thinking how my covers were so warm, and my room was like an icebox. Slowly, but surely, I sat up in the bed.
âMaddy! Your butt up, now!â My sister Lisa yelled from the other side of my door. I cringed. I hated when she acted like she was my mom by telling me when and even sometimes how to do things.
âIâm up, damn it!â I yelled. I got out of bed and went over to my mirror.
My hair literally looked like a ratâs nest. I sighed, feeling as though this was going to be a long day.

A Few minutes later, I walked out of my room, fully dressed, and ready for school.
âHey, Maddy, have you seen my soccer ball?â I heard a male say as I walked into the living room. My older brother, Christopher, stood near the sofa. I shook my head.
âNo ⦠what are you doing here? Donât you live in a dorm?â I asked when I noticed the sofa had covers on it. I concluded that he mustâve come over last night and  slept here instead of going back to his dorm.
Christopher was only one of my many family members. Currently, he was in college studying to be a therapist, which half my family was betting that heâd drop out. Letâs just say he doesnât like to commit and stick to one thing for long, yet I think his passion for being a therapist was really strong and he would finish school â¦
âWhat? I canât visit my family ⦠Or did you snap at me because youâre stressed? You know you can talk to me, no judgment will be given. All youâll get from talking to me is open ears.â He stated.
âDonât pull your therapist ways on me.â I said and then rolled my eyes at him.
I made my way to the kitchen. I saw my dad cooking breakfast.
âGood morning Sunshine.â He said in a chipper voice.
âPlease, donât call me Sunshine.â I muttered as I grabbed a piece of toast from off a plate.
âHey, that was mine!â Bonnie, my 10 year old niece said coming in the kitchen.
âGreat, the whole familyâs here.â I muttered and took a bite of her toastâ¦well, now it was mine.
âBailey just dropped Bonnie and Gwen off here because they donât have school today. â My dad stated. Bailey, one of my many sisters, loved to drop her kids off here whenever they didnât have school.
âLucky.â I mumbled. Bonnie gave me an evil grin, which made me glare at her. âStay out of my room.â I noted. Bonnieâs smile got wider.
Why did I even give her the idea?!
âDad, please, I donât want Bonnie Gwen in my room while Iâm at school. Last time Gwen broke my keyboard.â
âDid not!â Gwen yelled as she ran into the kitchen.
âDid too?!â I fired back.
âI did not! You broke it yourself!â Gwen argued. I glared at her. Gwen and her sister were a major pain in my rear.
âI hate to break up this fight, but thereâs a guy at the door asking for Maddy.â Christopher stated. I went wide-eyed.
A guy? At the door? Asking for me?
Has hell frozen over?
âA Guy? Who?â My dad asked.
âI think itâs the boy from across the street.â Christopher said.
âTroy?â I questioned with shock.
â⦠Ummm, yeah, I think so.â Christopher stated.
âLet me go get my shotgun.â I heard my dad say with anger.
âNo, dad, donât! Iâll handle him!â I shouted, you might think he was lying when he said he was going to get his shotgun, but oh no. He was dead serious. My dad hated Troy because he knew that Troy always said mean things to me.
My dad ignored me and went to his room. I dashed out of the kitchen, ran to the door and there Troy stood. I had no time to gawk at how incredibly hot he looked today â¦
Yes, I thought he was very cute! I mean brown hair with slicked back with dark jeans and a green shirt. The shirt hugged his muscles ⦠and â¦
Maddy! Snap out of it!
âWhat do you want?â I asked quickly.
âAllen called and said that Savvyâs running late ⦠Iâm supposed to take you to school today.â I was going to argue with Troy, but I heard Christopher talking loudly to my dad. Christopher was telling my dad how he needed to think rationally and not shoot Troy.
I gripped Troyâs arm and dragged him to his car. We got in. I saw my dad exit the house with an angry look on his face.
âIf you want to live, drive.â I stated in an eager manner.
Soon, we were driving down the street and silence filled the car.
âSo, are you going to answer my question from yesterday?â I asked Troy. He didnât look or respond to me, just kept his eyes on the road. âI guess thatâs a ânoâ.â I sighed and looked out the window.
âDo you remember a couple of months ago when your sister had car trouble? I came over and helped. We arenât too far from you and Savvy on the porch. I over hear your conversation. You were upset that you were failing all of your classes. You kept talking about how your whole future was ruined because of the grade you got. You didnât think you could be a doctor like you wanted. Then Savvy caught a glimpse of me listening. Sheâd known for a couple of years that I wasnât middle class, that my family was rich. Iâd told her not to tell anyone but she told me there would be a day that sheâd need me to do something for her. Savvy came to me the next day and begged me to change your grades ⦠So, I changed the grade to keep my secret.â I looked at him.
I want to believe, him, but somethingâs off ⦠But I didnât question him. Just nodded and thought about how when I got to school, I was going to talk to Savvy â¦
âDid Allen tell you why Savvy was running late?â I asked.
âNo â¦â Troy said with a smirk. I knew that Troy knew exactly why Savvy was running late to school.
âLiar.â I mumbled as we drove down a street. I knew we were a block away from school. âHey! Stop!â I yelled. Troy slammed on his brakes.
âWhat the-â I didnât listen to him, just got out of his car. âMaddy, what are you doing?â He asked, rolling down his window.
âIâm walking the rest of the way to school.â I stated.
âWhat? Why?â He asked.
âYou lied to me; I know thatâs not the whole story and you know exactly why Savvyâs running late. Allen and you are buddies. Iâm sure he told you ... Plus ⦠honestly, I donât want to be seen pulling up to the school in your car.â I said. Tory looked at me with a weird expression.
âWhy?â
âWhy what?â I asked as I started walking. He slowly drove his car beside me.
âWhy donât you want to be seen in a car with me?â Troy asked.
âWell, let me think ⦠Youâre a jerk that I think needs to leave me the hell alone!â I shouted. Troy chuckled. âWhatâs so funny?â I snapped.
âN-nothing.â Troy said. âCome on, get in the car.â
âNo, I can walk.â Troy stopped his car.
âIf you donât get in the car, I will not hesitate to send your dad the picture.â Troy said. I stopped walking and sighed. I put on a fake smile before turning to face Troy. Putting one foot in front of the other, I made my way to his car. When I got to the driverâs window, I bent down, getting face to face with Troy.
âListen here Troy. You are currently in a very sticky situation.â I stated, looking at him straight in the eye. âFor one, you need a girlfriend, and for some unknown reason, I volunteered. I guess you can say I like helping the hopeless. But, by all means, Iâll surely be more than happy to go to Flora and Helena, and tell them Iâm not your girlfriend. Who knows? I might tell them some lies. Let just say when I get down to talking to them, you wonât be able to walk down the halls without one of them seeping their nails into your skin â¦. And secondly, youâre rich, buddy boy, and rumor has it, you want to keep the fact that youâre rich a secret.â Troyâs eyes went wide.  âSo, hereâs how itâs going to work. Youâre going to delete that photo of me on your hood. Then, starting lunch time ⦠Iâll blackmail you, youâll do as I say. Got it, puppet?â I asked him. Troy said nothing; he just sighed and then drove off. I smiled.
I think he heard that loud and clear.
Savvyâs P.O.V
I rolled over in the bed, but I felt arms stop me from falling off the bed. I rolled back, and realized where I was.
âShit!â I hissed as I saw the sun through the windows. I always got up before the sun, so I could get ready and pick up the others. I looked at Allenâs alarm clock that was by his bed. It was seven oâclock. I cursed silently. School began in thirty minutes! I was supposed to pick the others up about a half hour ago!
I glanced over at Allen, he was still asleep. I used my super ninja moves and got out of his hold. As I began to sit up, I felt a hand grip my arm.
âWhere do you think youâre going? We havenât talked about yesterday.â Allen said, I sighed.
âFine we can talk about it in the car, on the way to school.â I stated.
<><><><><><><><><><><>
Silence filled the car, I was starting to think we werenât going to talk, which was fine with me, but then Allen spoke up. âSavvy ⦠I like you, a lot.â Allen said. I sat there, trying to remember to breathe.
âBut ⦠When I asked you if you liked me, you were like âYeah, as a sister.ââ Allen sighed loudly.
âI was nervous and shocked you asked. I had to think fast.â
âOh, you thought fast alright, and said what I didnât want to hear.â I admitted.
âAnd what did you want to hear?â Allen asked.
âThat you liked me, the way I like you.â The words came out of my mouth faster than a speeding train. I couldnât believe I said that. Allen seems surprised to, by the way he swerved into a parking spot, stopped the car, and was silent.
âYou-You like me?â He asked. Avoiding a weird situation I jumped out of the car. âSavvy!â Allen shouted, âDonât run away, Savvy.â He said. When I heard him say donât run away, I stopped walking towards the school.
Was I running? I donât want to run away from things like my mom did â¦
I went over to Allen and leaned against his car.
âDonât say I run away from things.â I said with venom in my voice. He knew why I didnât like that.
âIâm sorry. Iâm just tired of you walking away from me.â
âI donât walk away.â I said.
âYes you do.â
âNo, I donât.â We started arguing.
âSavvy, you do.â I slapped Allen, he didnât flinch, just looked at me.
âAllen, I ââ Before I could say anything, he kissed me â¦
Vinny P.O.V
I looked across the parking lot for Savvy. I saw her, leaning against Allenâs car. They looked like they were in a heated debate. I smiled when Savvy slapped him ⦠but then ⦠They kissed. My heart sank.
To see the girl you liked kissing another guy ⦠It took the breath out of my lungs.
âIâm Isabelle.â I heard a girl say. I looked to my side and saw a black girl. She had raven colored hair, that went to her shoulders. A head band was in her hair, and she wore a white, long-sleeved shirt and black pants. I nodded at her, and then made my way to the front of the school. I didnât care who that girl was, I was more concentrated on how my heart felt like it was ripped from my chestâ¦
âVinny?!â A girlâs voice said from behind me. I turned to see Kay running over to me. âWhatâs up?â She asked.
âN-nothing.â I lied.
âYou saw them, didnât you?â She asked. I looked at the floor, and gripped my blue backpack strap tighter. I didnât want to admit that I saw Savvy ⦠or maybe she thought I saw something else â¦
âWhat do you mean, I saw it?â I asked Kay, she sighed.
âIâm not stupid, you like Savvy.â I looked into Kayâs blue eyes.
âYeah, but she loves Allen ... that jerk!â I ended up shouting. Kay giggled.
âI think there is a part of her that likes you too, you just got to show her you care about her.â
âI didnât think so. Yesterday, I tried hitting on her, and I got in a fight with Allen. You should have seen my momâs face when she saw me with a black eye. My dad for some reason thought I was beat up because I was an Asian â¦â I started remembering how my dad was talking about suing the school because of racism. I told him it was not because I was Asian.
âWell, with the help of me I think you'll be able to get her, because once I am done with the two of you .... Savvy will be thinking of you and you only.â Kay said with a smile.
