Maddy's P.O.V...Silence, Late, and...Kissing?

I Dare You! / I Got You! {Completed}

Maddy’s P.O.V

“So everyone! How was your day?” Savvy said as we pulled out of the school parking lot. Everyone stayed silent. “Oh, no don’t all speak up at once!” She stated.

“My digital arts teacher is putting me on this project with a guy named Tom.” Hope said.

“I know Tom, he’s in my grade.” I stated, Hope looked at me.

“Really? I don’t know anything about him; I’m supposed to meet him after school tomorrow.” Hope said.

“All I know is he’s a senior.” I stated.

“Oh, well I will meet him tomorrow, so I guess I can learn about him then.” Hope said in a low voice.

“You know we are having the sleepover tomorrow night?” I said to Hope, she nodded.

“Yeah I know, I just have to stay after school for about ten minutes to meet him and get the rubric for the project.” Said Hope.

“We will wait 10 minutes for you and 10 minutes only!” Savvy stated in a serious tone of voice, I rolled my eyes at her.

“Take your time.” I stated to Hope, who gave me a smirk.

“Hey! I’m driving; you better hurry your ass up, you hear?!” Savvy said.

I leaned over to Hope and whispered, “Take your time we will bring Allen out with us, that will keep her distracted.”

“Hey! I heard that!” Savvy yelled looking at me through the rear view mirror. I smirked at her.

“Maybe you were suppose too hear that.” She glared at me. “Savvy I think you should be watching the road, after all you are driving.”

“Damn straight I am driving, and you best remember that.” She said.

“Is that a threat?” I questioned.

“Maybe.” Was all she said, I rolled my eyes at her. “So Kay how was your day?” Savvy asked. Kay began to open her mouth but I put my hand over her mouth.

“She is not allowed to talk.” I stated.

“And why not?” Savvy asked.

“Because Dylan is paying for her silence,” I said.

“Why?” Hope questioned.

“I don’t know, didn’t ask...It’s probable just some lame bet.” I replied. Kay glared at all of us then took out a piece of paper and wrote in big letters ‘HE KISSED ME!’ We all gasped.

“No way!” Savvy shouted. Kay nodded in anger, when she nodded I realized my hand was still over her mouth.

“It’s kind of funny just this morning you had your hand on my mouth to silence me…seems karma has bit you back in the ass.” I stated, man if looks could kill her look would have killed me right on the spot. I removed my hand, but she kept on giving me the same look.

“So Kay is being paid to stay quiet…” Savvy said, I knew she was taking that as a challenge. “Kay’s mom and dad had sex!” Kay starting slapping Savvy on the head to make her shut up, but like usual it didn’t faze Savvy. “They did the booga wooga-“

“Booga wooga?” I questioned.

“In other words they did the dirty.” Savvy restated.

“You are so immature.” Hope said, we all nodded in agreement.

“I know.” Savvy said as we pulled up to Hope’s house.

“Bye guys!” Said Hope as she was getting out of the car.

“Bye see you tomorrow! And remember to bring your clothes and other items to school tomorrow for the sleepover!” Savvy shouted at Hope. She nodded and made her way to her house. Savvy pulled out of the driveway and headed towards Kay’s house.

“So Kay how was your school day?” Savvy asked.

“Don’t you dare say a word.” I told Kay, she sighed and shook her head at Savvy who laughed.

“What? Cat got your tongue?” Savvy asked. “You know you can talk Kay, I’m not going to tell Dylan you talked, I pinky promise.”

“Don’t fall for it Kay, she has an evil mind. Even though she is my friend I would not trust her with my life.”

“Hey!” Savvy said as we pulled up to Kay’s house. Kay got out without a word. “Bye, Kay!” Savvy shouted. Kay said nothing, she just walked off. “How rude of you! I drive you everywhere and when I say bye you walk off! Talk woman talk!” Savvy yelled. Kay spun around and flipped Savvy off. “Fine, you can walk to school tomorrow!” Kay shook her head and walked inside her house with a smile knowing that Savvy would not let her walk to and from school. But when I looked at Savvy I saw her expression was dead serious.

“Savvy are you really not going to pick her up tomorrow morning?” I asked as we were driving down the street.

“I will pick her up, after Hope.” Savvy said with a smirk. I shook my head at her, she knew that Hope would take forever and in return Kay would actually believe that Savvy was not picking her up. It was an evil idea, but it was totally Savvy. “So I am going to have a party…I think I am going to invite a few people to your house tomorrow, is that okay?” Savvy asked.

“Just who are you planning on inviting and why?” I  questioned, wondering if this was a plot for something bigger…

“I just want a few people. All I want them to do is come over and hang out with us for a few hours.” Savvy stated, I studied her trying to see if she was telling the truth, and not just mess with me.

“I am not so sure about this, who will you invite?”

“Let’s see, you, Kay, Hope, Olivia, Troy, Allen-“ She started to say, but I cut her off.

“Troy! No! No! Hell no!” I shouted. She smiled at me, letting me know she was kidding. “You’re too evil you know that?” She nodded.

“Maddy, close your eyes!” Savvy yelled I became confused on why she wanted me to close my eyes.

“Why?”

“Because Mr. Hotness is straight ahead.” I looked forward and saw that at the end of the street was Troy, shirtless and playing basketball.

“Oh, freak! I am so not in the mood for him!”

“I told you to close your eyes!” Savvy said. I tuned her out and stared at Troy, I couldn’t help it, and he was so…Cute! There I said it! Just please don’t tell Savvy I said it. “Are you going to get out of my car or stare at Troy all day?” Savvy asked. I hadn’t even realized that we were at my house. I shook out of my trance and got out of the car. “Thanks for saying bye!” She yelled. I flipped her off.

“Oh! Maddy I would be careful who you flip off, because you might flip off the wrong person…You know, like the one that picks you up every day,” She paused, I had a feeling she was thinking of what to say next. I was about to walk away not really caring what she had to say at the moment but I stopped in my tracks when she spoke. “Also I would not flip off the one person that knows…You! Like! Troy!” I heard Troy stop bouncing the basketball, I could feel him staring at me. I blushed and took off towards my house. “I knew it! You! Like! Troy!” Savvy shouted. I know she might be playing games, but a part of me was pissed that she had just yelled that out in front of him. I growled under my breath as I ran into my house, hoping Troy would think that Savvy was being, well Savvy…

When I walked in, I saw my mom sitting in her chair reading one of her romance books, so typical of her. My dad emerged from the kitchen.

“Hey Maddy, how was your day?” He asked. My mom looked up from her book waiting for my reply.

“It was the same as usual. Busy, boring and crazy.” My dad nodded and my mom turned back to her book.

“Well, go get some homework done; dinner will be ready in about two hours.” I nodded and went my room. I threw my book bag on my floor and collapsed on my bed; forget about homework, I want sleep!

~~~
I walked outside and sat down on my porch step waiting for Savvy. So far I had been waiting for Savvy for the past 20 minutes. I tried calling her, but she was not picking up.
I’d also noticed that Troy’s car was still parked in his driveway…maybe that meant he wasn’t going to school today…Wonder why. Was he sick? Or maybe he woke up late…
That thought was cancelled out when I saw Troy walk out of his house. I tried not to move, because I noticed that the more I move to hide from him, the more he sees me. But this time even when I made no moves he still saw me. At first I thought he was going to say something from his driveway, but then he started to walk towards my porch…I started to panic. I wanted to run back inside and hide, but a part of me wanted to see what the hell he wanted. I watched as his tall lean figure came closer and closer to my house. A smirk appeared on his face as he reached my porch.
“Good morning, Maddy.” He said in smooth velvety voice. It was unlike him to talk to me this way. I started to wonder what the hell he was doing on my porch and in front of me. I gave him my best puzzled expression. “What’s with the face, you look constipated.” I growled at him.
“You know what, how about you get off my property before I do something I regret.” I stated.
“I know you won’t hurt me.” He leaned in until we were face to face. I felt my heart beat faster and faster. And I could smell his warm peppermint breath, “After all, you like me.” He said in a low voice, but I could hear it. He leaned in some more, our lips grazed one another’s, but he pulled away before they actually fully met. “Well I gotta go, or I’ll be late for school.” He said with a smirk, then walked away, leaving me on the porch speechless.
A second later Savvy pulled up, it took me a minute to gather my thoughts and run to her car. When I got in I saw that she had already picked up Kay and Hope.
“Sorry about being late, Savvy decided to pick me up first and as you know, I wasn’t ready.” Hope mumbled in the back seat. But I wasn’t paying attention, I was thinking…
“Yeah well I have to punish the ones that are bad…Maddy, are you okay? You look like you’ve seen a ghost.” Savvy said, I shook my head losing my train of thought.
“Ummm, y-yeah, I-I am fine!” I faked a happy smile. Savvy looked at me a second longer before pulling out of my driveway.
