Hope and Savvy's P.O.V ... Project and ... MONKEY INVASION!

HOPE'S P.O.V

I look up at the blank computer screen, completely bored for the fact that I was ahead of everyone in the class. So, that left me with no work to do while everyone else slaved over their project that was due by the end of class. I was very much tired and like I said before, bored. I was just glad that this was my last class of the day. But then I remembered that after this class I had to stay after school to meet, Tom, then rush down the halls to the car before Savvy left me stranded at school, and then, finally, there was the thing that I’ve been waiting for…the sleepover...Then I thought of what Savvy would do tonight, maybe she would do like she did last time and drink red bulls and then run up and down the street singing the worst song ever: Friday, by Rebecca Black. Or! She would get a hold of some beers...Oh gosh... the thought of her drunk made me laugh out loud. I stopped laughing when I heard someone clear their throat. I turn to my side and saw my teacher Mr. Mosby.

"And what do you find so funny?" Mr. Mosby asked in a serious tone. I started to really think of how to answer his question. I couldn't tell him I was thinking about my friend getting drunk tonight. You know her, the loud and sometimes annoying, Savvy.

"Ummm..." Was all that came out of my mouth. Mr. Mosby gave me a smile, showing he was only joking.

"You are staying after school to meet your partner, Tom, for the project I wanted you two to work on together, right?"

"Yeah, I’m staying, but I only have, like, 10 minutes." I admitted, praying that Maddy could hold Savvy from leaving...because I knew she would totally leave me here.

Mr. Mosby nodded and walked over to one of the classmates that had their hand raised. I sat there and finally decided to lay my head down and go to sleep, hoping it would pass time.

Sure enough it did. It passed all the way until the end of the school day when I felt someone tap my shoulder.

"Are you Hope?" I heard a male's voice ask. I lifted my head up and saw the most drop dead gorgeous guy I’d ever seen. He was very tall, short blonde hair and a face that made me wonder if I was in heaven. I must be! Maybe I died while sleeping! Yep that's it...

" Hi, I’m Tom, Mr. Mosby sent me here because of some project we have to work on together..." He said. Right then I knew that I hadn’t died. In fact I was very much alive. I quickly opened my eyes more and made myself alert.

"Y-You're Tom?" I questioned, even though I knew he had just said his name, I had to make sure... He nodded.

"Yeah I’m Tom, and you're Hope, right?" He asked with a smile.

"Y-yes." I stated with a shy smile.

"So, now that you two have met, let's get down to business." Mr. Mosby sat on the edge of a desk and began to tell us about the project, "You two will need to meet once a week in here after school and what you'll be doing is designing the new school logo. The principal is expecting it to be very detailed and professionally done. He wants it up on the school website in two months. Also I want you two to help me with the Digital Design convention that we will be hosting here at the school. We plan on having every school that has a Digital Design class in the state to come here and meet. If you two put forth great effort in both of these projects I promise that you will have a 100% in this class...not that y’all need that promise." He smiled. I knew he was thinking about how I already had a 100 in here...Tom must have too... "Any questions?" He asked.

"No." Tom said, I shook my head 'no'.

"Okay, I have to go to the teacher's lounge and get something I left in there...Tom I’m leaving you to lock up my room when y’all are done talking about the project." Tom nodded and Mr. Mosby walked out of the room, but before he closed the door, he turned to us. "I’m trusting y’all to not...how do I put this...not do anything inappropriate. I know what y’all teens do when there’s no adult supervision, but please don't give me a reason to not trust you two alone." I blushed slightly knowing what he was hinting at. From the corner of my eye, I saw Tom look down at the floor; I think he was blushing too. With that Mosby closed the door. Silence fell over Tom and me. I was about ask when he wanted to meet again, but the door flew open. And the one and only Savvy came in with an angered expression.

"Hope! There you are! It's been 15 minutes and I only gave you 10. Now how about you tell this-" Savvy looked over at Tom, stopped her rant and smiled. "Hi! I’m Savvy...but you can call me...Savvy." Tom raised an eyebrow. I shook my head at her.

"Please ignore her...if you can, she has a mental problem." I stated, Tom grinned and nodded.

"That’s what she said," Savvy mumbled. I glared at her to shut the hell up. I realized that I probably should pack up and go. So I collected my books and slid them into my back pack, but one of my Manga books fell out. Tom reached down and picked it up.

Savvy's P.O.V

I watched as Hope put her things in her bag, but then one of those Mango, wait no that is not what it's called, Mangu...no...Manko? Oh, well, it's just one of those books that have pretty pictures...

When her book dropped on the floor, Tom immediately picked it up. He handed it to Hope with a smile.

If there was a light bulb in my big brain I think it would be going off...right...about...now!... Tom likes Hope.

I mean looked at them, smiling at each other... I broke out in an evil laugh. They both turned and looked at me with questioning expressions.

"What?" I asked innocently. Hope stared at me like she could see my soul...if I had one, Muhahaha!

"I know you. When you do that horrible excuse for an evil laugh, you're up to something." Hope stated. I looked at the floor hoping she would not catch what I was about to say as a lie.

"I have no idea what you're talking about."

"Why can't you say that while looking at me?" She asked. Damn! She was catching on! I have to think fast!

"Monkeys!" I yelled then ran out of the room. I ran as fast as I could to the car. When I go there Maddy, Kay and Allen were all sitting on the hood of my car. "Hey! You hoodlums! Get the freaking bananas off my car!" They all smiled at me. Kay and Allen got off, but Maddy stayed on. "Maddy! Off! At once!" I shouted at her, she shook her head and had an evil smile on her face. I was about to go over to her and give her my best ninja slap, but Allen grabbed my hand.

"If you let her stay on the hood, I will give you coffee." I immediately smiled at Maddy.

"Stay on there all day and night, Maddy, hell I can duct tape you to the hood and you can ride on the hood all the way to the store and home." Maddy's smile faded and she slid off the hood. "Wait! No get back on! I want my coffee!" I yelled at Maddy. She just pouted.

"No. Allen ruined my fun." She mumbled.

"Wait?! How did I ruin your fun?! I got her to let you stay on the hood, plus she offered to let you ride on the hood! I would have taken that offer!" Allen said.

"The point of me wanting to be on the hood was too make Savvy irritated." Maddy stated.

"Oh, sorry." Allen said. I turned to the school doors and saw Hope walking along with Tom...

"Hey guys look!" I said, pointing to them.

"Oh, I think someone has a crush." Kay said.

"I agree, Hope and Tom look so cute together...I think I am going to get them together." I stated.

"No, No, No." Kay, Allen, and Maddy all said at the same time. I looked at them.

"And why not?" I asked.

"Savvy, no offense, but you are the worst matchmaker in the whole world." Maddy said.

"Am not." I fired back.

"Last time you set me up with a guy, it was one who talked like he had sucked in a gallon of helium and had the attention span of a three year old. Plus you set us up to go to zoo and he, when the zoo trainer said we could feed the mammals, tried feeding them me!" Maddy said.

"And remember the time you set me up with, what's his name...Josh Morgan... he took me to his ex's house and she cooked us dinner...His EX'S HOUSE!" Kay stated. I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah, Yeah, I admit those where bad dates to set you up on, but Tom and Hope would be perfect-" Maddy and Kay looked at me to shut up, but I ignored them and kept on talking. "And I mean perfect together. I could see Tom and Hope growing old together, and having many little spawns." I heard a loud cough, it came from Allen, I turned to him, but as I did I saw Hope and Tom staring at me. I gave them a smile and did the first thing that came to my mind...I ran and yelled 'MOKEY INVASION!'
