Chapter 17 The tallest room in the Alexander Group building.

Assistant Brown entered the room with a glass of juice and a plate of fresh fruit.

Damian, who saw him enter, got up from his chair and sat on the sofa.

After Brown placed the tray on the table, he handed the cutlery that Damian accepted with his left hand.

*Enjoy. Young master.”

“Sit down.” Damian pointed to the chair in front of him.

Brown did as he was told. He saw Damian start to eat the fruit on the plate.

“How is Livia’s father’s company now?” The first piece is finished, followed by the second piece.

Brown frowned slightly. Unexpectedly, his young master just mentioned Livia’s name. He actually mentioned the name of the woman who became his wife.

“It’s 100% stable. I’ve included three people in the top ranks to oversee everything. Is there anything you want to do regarding the company?”

Damian picks up kiwi slices. “Eat!”

Why is the young master act weird like this?’ Brown was startled by Damian’s acts, but he accepted the fork that Damian offered and then put the fruit into his mouth. As it he had received a special gift, he looked very happy. Then, he handed the fork back to Damian’s hands. “Is Livia close to her family?”

The young master actually mentioned Livia’s name again.

“No.” Brown answered simply.

Damian was still silent, and then he looked at him with the gaze that he asked for more explanation.

“The young lady’s relationship with her family is not very close, except with her younger brother.” “The boy who held hands with her at the wedding?”

“Yes.”

“What about her relationship with her mother?”

“Her current mother is only a stepmother.”

Damian was a little surprised, and Brown continued his story. “Young lady’s biological mother died when she was six years old.”

‘It seems that young master wants to know all about the young lady.” Brown muttered, then prepared to continue with the detailed information regarding Livia.

“You could say their relationship is not good. Bob himself was just busy with the company, so all the affairs of his children were left to his wife. So the three children get different treatment in the family.”

“Has Livia ever experienced physical violence?” Damian took the glass of juice on the table and drank it.

“No, but there is information that when she was little, she was dumped by her mother. Actually not really dumped, but she was taken to a deserted and abandoned place, and then her mother came back after a few hours.”

“Anything like that happened?” Damian’s eyes become annoyed.

“Even their servants knew that information, but Bob let it go because his wife said it was a way to educate the young lady to be an obedient child.”

“Huh!” Damian laughed.

‘So I have to thank his evil stepmother for making me a very obedient wife, or I have to start taking revenge for how dare she treat my wife like trash.

“So this is the reason why she became such an obedient girl? Every time I threatened her with her family, she immediately looked sad. I think it was because she loves her family. From now on. I don’t want Livia to have anything to do with her family anymore.” Damian gave a sharp look to Assistant Brown’s eyes.

Brown knows what he means, and this is non-negotiable.

“What about her younger brother?”

“Are they really in a good relationship?” Damian handed the fork to Brown. “Finished it.” Then he himself put his feet up and took a lying position on the sofa.

Brown took the seat cushion beside him and placed it under Damian’s head. Make the man lean back comfortably.

“Yes.” Brown, while busy chewing, glanced at Damian, who closed his eyes. “Just leave them alone. As long as her brother doesn’t mess up.”

“Okay. And...”

“What?”

“The young lady’s brother applied for an Internship at Alexander Group.” “Haha, the brother you love is in my hands. If I torture him a little, how will you react? It’s definitely more interesting.’ Damian smirk.

“Take him to headquarters.”

“Okay.”

The two of them were silent for a long time. Then, finally, Damian closed his eyes while Brown focused on the food in front of him.

“Find a dress for her to wear when the gallery opens.”

“Would you like to bring the young lady?”

“Why are you still asking? That’s why I married her.” Damian fell silent again after saying a sentence that made Brown also speechless. He looked at the perfect tall body that was sleeping on the sofa.

Brown was so wondered why is Damian making things so complicated? He could take back Helena by force two years ago if he wanted to. But he let her go and hurt himself.

Now, after the news of Helena’s return, he even prepared a way of revenge instead of welcoming her. And the most injured person here is Livia.

Someone who doesn’t even know anything.

“Tell me all about her.”

Damian spoke lightly when Brown’s mind was away, asking for Livia’s detail.

“Actually, the young lady is a quiet daughter in her family environment. But when she is outside the house, she is still a cheerful girl. Her school history has no problem. She goes to school and makes friends with a lot of people.”

Damian was heard taking a deep breath.

Brown is still eating fruit on the table and speaks again about all the detailed information about Livia’s life that he was checking for before the girl married Damian.

Including the information about Livia’s former lovers.

“Have you finished?”

“Yes, Young Master.”

“Prepare the car!”

“Do you want to go somewhere?”

“Let’s have some fun!” Damian wakes up excited.

Even though Brown didn’t know where Damian wanted to go, Brown walked behind Damian in silence.

After a dozen minutes of driving on the highway, the car finally stopped.

‘So this is where you have fun.’ Brown frowned and looked straight forward.
