I left everything behind  when I started to live as Shakti but I couldn't forget the past I had.I might have became braver and stronger than before still I can't took any chance to expose myself. I didn't even want to relate myself to Gauri. I don't want to recall that long nightmare I endured for nearly an year.This is the reason why I refused to took that injured man to hospital. I can say just looking at that man's injuries this will be a police case, If we go to the hospital then I have to get involve with police and all those things with which I don't want to have any connection.Yes, I threatened that woman to do a police case but it was just a threat. I actually was not going to do anything like that. I don't want to lose this new life of mine. I love me as Shakti and I love my kids a lot. I would have ask Radhika to take that man to her house but her house is small and she is living with her in-laws and if they will take him then it will create a great mess.As for me, my house has two rooms with one kitchen and one common toilet. I can adjust him there for one night.We don't even know who this man's identity but from his clothes I could say he is not from this town and is in great trouble. If secret of him leaked out then Radhika's family could get into trouble. As for me, there is no one except me and my kids in my house. Also I will shift this person to inn next day. After he wakes up I will tell him to go in his own way and it won't be a problem anymore.After all these queries I still have a doubt, if there is many problem then why am I helping this person!  It's because I can't let someone die infront of me and he even requested me to help him. As a human I shouldn't lose basic humanity. We took him to my house, kids were sleeping and no one was outside. I called my regular doctor, with whom I have a good relationship. Thankfully he was awake at that time and came running to help. I left that man in doctor's care and went out to remove traces of blood outside. What if those people who were after that man get any clue about him!Doctor said injuries were a little bit serious but he could manage it. There were some wounds on his head like he was beaten by a heavy thing on his back. Except that there was a stabbing wound on his stomach. His clothes were dirty so Radhika's husband lend a pair of clothes for him. Those clothes were full of blood and became dirty. I wanted to threw that but what if he needs it later ! So, I put it in a plastic bag and sealed it. It was very late so I sent Radhika and his husband to their home. They told me to call them anytime if I need them.After treating him doctor gave him some medicine and wrote one prescription and said me to pick other medicines next day. I requested doctor to keep this as a secret. He said he will and said me to call him if required otherwise he would come to see patient next morning.I asked doctor when he will wake up? Doctor said it's not certain but he may wake up in two days. Two days! Really! I wanted to transfer him to inn next day. If he doesn't wake up then it will be hard for me tranfer him. Then I realised If I took him inn then more people will know about him. So, it will be better to keep him at home. Radhika and her husband usually comes to my house so no one will doubt us and if doctor come often then I could say kids are sick. What about kids! I think I have to teach them a lot tomorrow. What a trouble! I thought I shouldn't act selfish when someone actually needs my help.After doctor left and while thinking all this I didn't realise when I fallen asleep beside that man on the sofa near that man's  bed.When I opened my eyes I saw my two kids, who were staring at that man and talking among themselves."Brother, who do you think this man is?" Anna asked to Ayush."I don't know, I don't think he is from this town. I have never seen him around" Ayush said."You are talking like you know every man of this town"Anna said."I don't know every man of this town but I know every man around mother. This person more look like a guest of our inn, he doesn't give vibes of this town" Ayush said."You are right brother. But I think he is very handsome" Anna said."You girls sees nothing except beauty " Ayush said."Then do you mean mom took this man because of his beauty?" Anna said."Mom is not like you, she doesn't judge people by their appearances" Ayush said."But you said all girls like handsome people" Anna said."Oh my God! I'm sorry, I said wrong" Ayush said.I could hear their voice but couldn't get up because I was still in sleep. Suddenly our door bell rang and my all daze went away. Who could it be so early in the morning! Is it someone from the people who were chasing after this man last night! Ayush was going to open the door but I went out and opened the door. It was the doctor. "Oh it's you... I never thought you will be here this early in the morning" I said."It's not early in the morning, it's already nine o'clock." Doctor said."Nine o'clock ! What! Oh my God! I forgot, kids are not ready for school, school bus will be here soon". "Don't worry, school bus won't come today mom, It's weekend" Ayush said."Oh! Really!" I was still in daze.Doctor and both kids laughed at me a lot."Actually I took care of everything but I think he still need to go hospital, it will be good for him to conduct some tests. But I understand any normal person like you would like to avoid any trouble. Now I'm going I will take his blood for testing and will be back with reports at evening" doctor said after checking him.After doctor left I asked kids to keep that man as a secret. They agreed to do so. But their never ending investigation didn't stop.
