On weekends I used to take children  to my workplace with me. There I used to work and children used to play there after finishing their homework. After my work was over I used to take them somewhere out to play. But on this weekend I faced a rare trouble and that trouble was this injured man who is sleeping right now in my house. I can't leave my kids alone with a  stranger. So, I decided not to go out on work. I don't know why kids are very excited to see him here! They were not ready to leave his room. I made hot water to wash that man's body. Not whole body just the portion where bloods were dried and looked horrible. I slowly wiped his body using a towel while my kids were staring at him like he is some statue. "What! Why are you guys acting like this?" I asked. "Mom, he is so handsome" Anna said. "Is he?" I asked.Then I looked at him and thought that's right he is quite handsome. Because of bloods it was not clear before, but now it seems Anna is right. What am I thinking! Don't have such thoughts Shakti."I knew you girls will behave like this, that's why I'm here to keep eyes on you" Ayush said."You naughty boy! Did you finish your homework?" I asked Ayush."We finished it mom" Anna said. "Then let's go and play outside, I will make something to eat for you guys" I said. Then suddenly at evening when I was doing some chore outside of the house Ayush came hurriedly and said "mom, he wakes up".As soon as I hear this I ran into that man's room. My kids were standing there and that man was seating on the bed silently. I was confused thinking what to say first. "Excuse me, are you feeling alright?" I asked."My mom is asking are you alright?" Ayush said."Do you remember what happened to you?" I asked again."My mom asked do you remember anything?" Anna asked."Why you guys are repeating my words? I think he can here everything I'm saying" I asked them."Mom, he just woke up... He may not able to understand your strict words, so we are trying to act nice to him, so that he can be comfortable here" Ayush said."What do you mean! You are saying my words are loud and strict and it can make him scare of me?" I asked them with surprise. "Yes mom, he just woke up and you are scaring him with these questions" Anna said.These kids are too much. They are making fun of me in this situation! "Are you guys really my kids or it got exchanged with neighbours while I was away?" I asked. I don't understand why they are acting cute and nice to that person? I was just thinking about kid's behaviour then suddenly that man spoke."Ah! Huh! Who are you? And who am I?" That man asked."Oh my God!" We all said this at a time.********I called doctor to check on him. After checking doctor said to me in private that he checked that man's blood test report and everything was alright. But now the way he behaves, it looks like he has forgotten his past because of the injury on his head. Doctor advised me to take him to hospital next day for his physical tests especially brain.What should I do now? I thought I will send him away after he gain his consciousness but now I think I can't send him away in this condition. What should I do with him? I was thinking about it then Ayush said "mom, did that uncle really forgot everything?" I said yes to him while nodding my head. "It's alright mom, I think yesterday I prayed to God to give us a person who can protect us and I think God accepted my request and send him to us" Ayush said.Is this why those kids were behaving like that whole day! Because they think he is the person God sent for them! Did they really craving someone like him! Am I not enough for them!"Mom, it's not because you can't protect us. It's because we don't want you to struggle alone for us" Ayush said. Oh! My kids are so thoughtful. But how will I make them understand that I don't need anyone in this life. You can say I don't trust anyone except me and trusting a guy will be really hard for me. "Mom, that uncle is hungry. Can you make something for him?" Anna came and said. If that person stays with us then my kids will have hope on him and they will slowly get attached to him. After he gets back his memory or if he finds his family then my kids will be left with only disappointment.I should stop this as soon as possible. But for now I should feed him and send him away tomorrow telling him whole truth. "Okay, let's go. I will make something for him" I said and went towards kitchen. There I made some light food and took it for him. When I went to him I saw Anna talking to that man. She was showing him her dolls and explaining him about it one by one, While he was silently listening to her."Anna, he is sick. You should leave him for rest. Go bring your brother and have dinner" I said.Anna went away. I gave food to that man but that man looks reluctant. Now I understand he must be feeling confused with present situation. He might have thinking if we are his friend or foe. I can't comfort him but atleast I can give assurance to him. "Listen, You must have feeling confused. But we are not bad people, We won't hurt you. You take this food and have a good rest. Tomorrow, we will go to hospital, after your test we will actually get to know about your condition" I said. He looked a little bit relaxed from before. I gave him food but he said "my hands are dirty and a little bit injured ,can you feed me?" "What! You want me to feed you!" I said with a shocking expression. "What's so wrong about it mom! He is just asking for your help. Can't you help an injured person! if you can't feed him then give it to us. We will feed him" those kids again came and said this.Oh no! If I give them to feed him then they won't feed him alone, they will feed the entire room then I have to clean the whole mess later."It's alright I will feed him" I feed him with my own hand and thought I will talk to you later little devils.
