Chapter 16: chapter 16

Well things were getting more and more frustrating. My past taught me many things and among them one was life can change at any point and in anytime, you can left alone at any moment  without anyone. The most difficult task in life is trusting someone, it hurts trusting wrong one. My life taught me not to trust anyone completely, so I always kept a line with others.I also fear if someday Radhika betray me then! So, I keep on taking her test of loyalty.She knows about this strange man but this didn't mean I trust her completely. It's just a task to check her loyalty.When I  couldn't trust my nearest sub-ordinate then how can I trust a stranger who came from nowhere! You can say I have some kind disease  not to trust others now.... No, this is the trauma I'm suffering after all that happened in my life.To show some humanity I picked up that injured guy but it seems he doesn't remember his past. I don't know anything about him, but from his condition I realised he must have been betrayed by someone otherwise, he wouldn't have wound on back of his head and also running for help at that situation. So for now for the sake of humanity I should do everything to help this guy and kick him out later from my house, when he seems alright. So first thing I did next day was taking him to the hospital.But why these two devils want to follow me!"Why do you want to come with me? I'm going to the hospital not to the park" I said. "We know mom still we want to follow you to the hospital". Anna said."Don't tell me you doubt that I might abandon this guy after his checkup and this is why you want to follow me!" I said. I asked because I knew them very well, these two never disobey  me without any reason and plan."Mom, we don't doubt it because we are sure that you will abandon him after his checkup" Ayush said. In these years I'm not the only one who can understand their every move, they can also see through my every act. How are they so smart! I don't think I was like them when I was a kid! It may be because of my company and my upbringing. They are turning as smart as I'm.After many arguments with them I accepted my defeat, finally we all went together to the hospital. On the way to the hospital, those two  behaved like they were on a family picnic, playing songs, eating snacks etc. They were even treating that stranger as their long lost relative.The man was also comfortable with them and was also having fun. I was the one who was uncomfortable there seeing my kids close to someone else. With these chaos we reached hospital. I  said kids to wait at the waiting  room  and went in to the doctor with that man."Listen, who are you to me?" The man asked.Why is he asking such questions! What do I answer! Should I tell the truth! "We are nothing to eachother" I replied."But kids said we all are one family!" He said.These two! I don't know what more they even talked about."No, they were just playing actually you are not from my family" I said "Are you really not my family! Where are my family! Who am I!" He said and suddenly his behaviour changed. He became unstable while his head start to hurt."Hey! Are you alright!" Then I called for doctor at that instant.Doctor first calmed him down saying I was lying. I also said that lie to comfort him. We did all the test and doctor said reports will come in two days. It was our regular doctor who even treated that man on that night, I wanted to talk with the doctor alone so I send that man with kids and told them to wait for me outside."Doctor, you know how I got that man at that night and you also know I don't want to get involve with any trouble. I'm a single mother with kids and no one to depend on, I fear this man is not an easy man and what if relationship with him create trouble for my kids! My kids are also very fond of him but I don't want them to get attached to him. So can you find his family for me secretly? Because if more person will know about him then he might get into danger, as you said his wounds were because he was attacked from back" I said all this in one breath. Doctor smiled and said "you are very kind madam. You do't want to get in to trouble so you want to drive him away but you also doesn't want him to get into any trouble so you want to find his family secretly!" "It's not because I'm kind, I just don't want the person, I worked hard to save  lose his life" I replied."Okay, I will help you. His family member will definitely come here to find him, if they comes and I feel they are safe then I will let you know" Doctor ensured me."I also have another request, can you find an  NGO or something where he can stay until then?" I said. "Okay, I will tell you if I got any. But  until his injuries are healed don't let him feel alone and don't let him know you are not his family. Because he is having seizures, he must have lost his family in past he needs someone who can care about him right now. And I think he is already attached to your kids" doctor said.If this happens I can't tell him the truth right now then I can't also drive him away. What if it brings some trouble to us! I'm not sure what should I do! Let's wait for a perfect time then I will tell him everything.After discussing all things for a while  I came out from doctor's chamber, I did n't knew when I was away there would be an world war -III would break outside.My kids were fighting with that kid from last time. I didn't see that kid's mother around and also that man there also fighting with kids like a kid.I ran to them and stopped them first  then asked "what happened?""mom, if we can get a child from this hospital then cann't we also get a father from here!" Anna asked."Ha ha! But why are you asking this?" I couldn't answer their question so avoided it."I told him this is our father but he said we can't get a father like this" Ayush said. "Father! What father!" I asked in confusion."Mom, this is our new family member and we named him as our father" Anna said while holding that man's hand. And that man was giving silly smiles.
