We was currently at the block party and everybody from the hood of Indianapolis was here.
Monie wasn't here tho cause of his cousin meechie. He was at his family's house, but he said he would pop out later.
"Oooo there go Ace." Kk said nodding her head over to a group of boys and Ace jus so happened to be one of dem.
"Fuck him" I said making a stank face.
"Well damn" She said laughing.
"I ain't even gonna ask." She said drinking her punch.
"Hollon my baby here." Kk said making me turn around and see Syncere, Dania, Quan, Kanon, and Zaine.
"Hey y'all" I said walking over with Kk.
"Ain't y'all supposed to be with Monie?" I said
"No they ain't having the family meeting till tomorrow." Quan said giving me a hug.
"You ain't know did ya?" Zaine asked
"No" I said
He shook his head.
"Hey girl" Dania said giving me a hug.
"Hey D" I said hugging back.
"Who she" Kk asked wit a curious look.
"Quan's girl" Syncere said
"Oh hi I'm Kk." She said waving and smiling.
"Hi nice to meet you." Dania said waving back.
"There go Tremani" Kk said
Damn every gang here.
"Tremani like you being wit Monie" Zaine asked.
"Um yea" I said lyin.
"Youn gotta lie Patience I would be mad to if my sister was datin a dude like Monie." He said looking at me.
"Whats dat supposed to mean?"
"Jus like I said yeen gotta lie." He said walking past me and gazing my shoulder.
He be throwing shots for no reason.
"Girl don't mind him" Dania said
"Oh I don't." I said
"Aye Makala Patience c'mere." Bam bam called out to us.
I saw Kj, Tremani, Ajar, Rylen, Dominic, Daelynn, and 44. Oh lord.
"I'm comin, I'll be back yall." Syncere said to everyone and walking wit us.
"Hey bam bam." I said
"Wassup Pay" He said while looking at Syncere.
"Dis yo boyfriend or is Daelynn still." Bam asked making Ajar snicker. He was tryna be funny.
"Na dis is Syncere my boyfriend." Kk said
"Oh so y'all both datin-nevermind." Kj said
"Ouuuu hey Monie." I heard a female voice say. His ass got here early.
"Wassup Monie" Some boys next to me said.
"He really dat nigga." Rylen said making Ajar, and Tremani suck they teeth.
"Wassup Patience, Wassup y'all." Monie said walking over and giving me a kiss.
"Hey Monie I'm so sorry for yo loss." Kk said hugging him.
"Thank ya." He said hugging her back.
"Who you loose?" Rylen asked making Ajar look at him stupid. This nigga.
"My cuz" Monie said looking at Rylen weirdly.
"Sorry for yo loss." Rylen said
"Right on" Monie said nodding at him.
It was awkwardly quite until Kk said "aw hell".
"What" I said
She whispered in my ear.
"Kg n nem are here." It's finna be a fight or some. I'm already knowing.
"What y'all whispering bout?" Ajar asked as Daelynn caught on and pointed to Kg, Mill, and Trell.
"Mane dey know what it is." Dominic said. Now he was the most craziest outta my brother's. He would set quite until things started to pop off. He real quite and aware of everything goin on round him, but don't fuck wit him.
"We ain't finna pay dem no mind." Rylen said
"Aye wassup Patience. I ain't seen you on da block inna min." Ace said as he walked right over here.
Monie looked over at me and shook his head.
"Wassup" I mumbled turning my head to the side. So no one could see my face.
"Hey Ace I ain't seen you round town at all." Makala said
"So anyone want punch?" I said clapping my hands together.
"Yea bring 4." 44 said
"K" I said walking off in a hurry.
As I was in da middle of making the 3rd cup of punch I felt someone tap my shoulder.
I turned around and saw Ajar.
"Now you know all dat kissing shit in front of us ain't acceptable." He said
"Boy bye cuz y'all would keep me up till school started while yall was getting yo shit poppin." I said pouring the punch into the 4th cup.
"Ok don't mean you follow after us." He said looking at me from head to toe.
"And what the fuck is yo ass wearing." Ajar said as I looked at my white crop top and my jean ripped booty shorts.
Now I usually don't wear crop tops and stuff, but Kk been telling me to and I actually like it.
"Um it's hot out." I said walking away wit da cups in my hand.
As I was walking some girl bumped me making me almost spill it on my shirt, but it didn't.
"Oh I'm so sor- oh so you Monie new girlfriend huh Patience?" The hoe Mya said wit a stank face.
"Yea you gotta problem ?" I asked her.
"No not at all." She said turning back around to dancing.
I had finally made my way over to 44 n nem.
"Here" I said handin him da drinks.
"Right on" 44 said smiling at me.
"U welcome" I said smiling back.
And then sat right next to Monie.
The block was jumping. Later there was finna be fire works and a race. Ajar against Rylen and Me against Tremani. Kk was finna be my passenger since she was my ride or die.
Now I knew a lil bit about cars, but for the most part I was good at racing. My uncle's taught me.
"Aye who was dat?" Monie said
"Um an associate ." I said truthfully and he nodded his head.
"Hey" The girl from the store that was wit Tremani said.
"Hi" I said lowly.
"Um where is Tremani" She said
"Um I don't know." I said wit a weird facial expression.
"Oh ok" she said walking away into the crowd.
"Who dat" Monie questioned.
"Some friend of Tremani's" I said
"Dat ain't no friend." He mumbled
"What you say?" I asked.
"Nun" Monie said
"Mm" I said
"I meant to ask where were you earlier" I said
"Mind ya business Patience." He said looking over me.
"Never mind then." I said getting up and walking away.
I thought Mayari was goin to be here, but I guess not.
