"Hey bae we finna have chicken wings tonight ok." Mayari said walking into the kitchen.

"We finna have barbecue, Buffalo, Hot wings, and regular wings." She said taking out the chicken.
"Is we still finna go to the carnival with Dominic and Niya?" She asked.

"So we will take her out of the coma on the 13th and we will have her body transported to the funeral so you can get her ready for the funeral." Dr. Adam said.
"Ok." Kay said nodded taking a deep breath, squeezing the tissue she was holding.
"Do you mind if I visit her for just a minute?" Kay said
"No ma'am." Dr. Adam said as Kay walked away to room 123.
Kay walked into the room and closed the door.
"Hey baby" She said pulling the chair over to the hospital bed and grabbing Patience's cold hand.
"Momma is so sorry that you had to go through that alone." Kay said. Tears falling down her face.
"I failed as a mother by letting yo brotha go to the streets and by letting you get hurt." She said
"Just know that God won't fail you like I did. I love you so much." Kay said. She had stayed with her for a few. Just sitting in silence before she eventually had to leave due to restrict guidelines at the hospital.
